Moving APT - Long Distance Movers

Good.

Cost $1000+ more than quoted. Outsourced to another third party company. Items now missing, likely stolen from me, broken furniture and now, no help from this company at all. Since this company placed me with Triple Crown Moving, they need to do a better job at finding reliable movers. TCM was horrible. My stuff were just thrown into a truck, damaged and placed in multiple different cities probably handled by so many people. Use a POD, safer and cleaner than so many people tossing your things.

They were very fast and efficient. I was very impressed except boxes I had labeled as "Fragile" and " This side up" I found lying on their sides. Fortunately, nothing was broken. I would use them again if I pointed this out beforehand.

At first, wonderful, but once they had my belongings, it became a nightmare. I was told at the start, one person, Ian Kerr, would be in charge of my entire move. He was very kind, courteous, but that statement was not true. He was just the initial contact. Ron, a very nice guy, also made several calls. Alyssa did,too. Jorge came on the wrong date, 2 weeks early. Curtis, finally the main moving guy, was kind, courteous, and 4 hours late on Moving day, May 30. Since no one came prior to moving date to see what I needed to have moved, as most reputable companies do, they didn’t bring a large enough truck for all of my belongings. Initial costs quoted were around $5000, ended up at $11,731 I had to rent a pull behind to bring the rest of my stuff across the country costing me an Additional $585. I was also asked what date would be the first day they could deliver, and delivery would be within 10 days. I chose June 10 and was told by Curtis that I needed to be available until the 20th. I called on the 19th to confirm a time. Was told by Alyssa that she would call me back by the end of the day. No call, e-mail, or text. Called Ian the next day, sent an email. No response. Monday, nothing again. I start a new job tomorrow and have no way to be available to movers now, as I specifically schedule my start date around this moving company. The lack of professionalism, integrity and honesty is questionable with Moving APT services. I will be seeking legal action against this company.

We found Moving APT company on Angie's List. They gave us a straight forward quote right away, answered the phone when we called and we had the pleasure of working with Vekka and Petter. They were both incredibly professional, hard working, on time, and great to work with. They and the company were super flexible with different locations/drop offs and pricing was super transparent and we ended up paying exactly what was quoted. They offer a slightly lower rate for non peak times as well. Highly recommend this company and their moving services!

Moving APT was quick to reply to my quote request through Angie's List, and they ended up ordering use the best rate. Even after I took a day to respond and their rates had gone up, they still honored the rate they originally quoted. The two movers, Ben and David, arrived a few minutes early even through Friday morning traffic. They were very friendly and got to work right away. The move ended up taking longer than we expected, but that was more due to our naivete (we probably should have hired a three person crew). They were giving constant effort for 9 straight hours (they must have eaten but I didn't see when). In the end all our stuff made it intact with no collateral damage! I'd highly recommend Moving APT- they're efficient and a pleasure to work with at a good price.

Only if I could give Ben, Thomas and Petter 6 stars. They went above and beyond to pack all the boxes and furniture in a pod that I used for a cross country move. Ben use to pack commercial trailers so they both nailed it in terms of tightly packing the boxes and furniture such that the stuff doesn't move much in the pod. Work of art! In addition, they helped me load up my motorcycle in their truck and drop off at a semi that was taking my bike across the country. Wonderful guys, amazing service and no attitude / expectation on doing stuff for tips.

I could not have been more appreciative of the service Iann and Thomas provided in my move. Throughout, they were honest, helpful, and pleasant, and they handled my objects with care and treated them as if they were their own. Frequently consultative, they repeatedly checked in with me to be sure that everything was going where it needed to be, and, as a result, it left very little for me to do. Little touches, like wrapping delicate items and furniture securely, or providing the wardrobe boxes went a long way in making my move infinitely easier. In addition, this was after a colleague recommended them to me and described the experience as seamless. I highly recommend Moving APT.

Dropping off our things and settling up at our storage unit right now. Looking good! These guys (Ben, Petter, Thomas, Iann) have been great. Really diligent packing. Our things were packed so well it looked like we just brand new furniture. Definitely could not have done better ourselves. We pre-packed a good bit with Home Depot boxes but they did the heavy lifting and fragile packing with kitchen essentials. Then we transported all our two bedroom apartment stuff up to a storage unit all in a days work!

I thought they did a great job. They were on time, moved quickly and were very careful with all my furniture. Ben was also very quick at responding to my questions. I would hire Moving APT Company again.

Mike, Micheal and Ben were great. Very friendly, and helped us pack all the loose ends we did not fit into boxes and brought wardrobe boxes for hanging items. Wrapped all larger items with moving blankets and helped disassemble and reassemble items that were large or awkward. Thanks.

Ben and his team did a wonderful job moving our 1 br apartment over a 40 mile distance with 50 boxes and several large pieces of furniture. They were careful, thorough, and diligent. It was our first time using professional movers and it made our day so much easier and less stressful. We would definitely recommend them and use them again, everything went well and they communicated well from the initial quote until the completed move. The process was transparent and they were kind people to work with. It is clear they take their work seriously and do so with integrity. Thank you!

Can't speak highly enough of this company! So professional and so much attention to detail. Fair pricing and very organized. I used Moving APT which also helped keep everything neat but honestly they were on time, professional, courteous, and very hard working! I would wholeheartedly recommend this company for any move!

Ben, Jerry and the team are just perfect. We have been using a few moving companies in the Miami Beach, Moving APT is just the best. (I had enough bad experience with some other ones which I will not name here, they asked for big tips, inefficient, asked for lunch and counted the lunch time into working hours) Ben's team are careful, considerate, efficient, professional! All my stuff were carefully packed, Nothing broken, everything was moved to the location I requested with so much care and so much efficiency. I will not hesitate to pick them again for my next moving.

Well, I wish I could give 10 stars for these 3 amazing guys who did our move this morning so smooth and easy. They were suppose to be at my house at 8:00 am, and they were there right on time. Very polite and professional guys. I will confess that I was so scared about the move, that now I'm so relaxed and ready to start a new chap of my life in a new place. Don't forget to tip them at the end.

The Moving APT team did an excellent job with my piano move. They were on time and very quick. The price was much more affordable than other movers I quoted, and there were no hidden fees. I would definitely hire them again and recommend them to a friend.

Just a recap--I was offered a job here in Ohio and needed to move a 3 bedroom apartment from Texas in a weeks notice. 1. I needed something reasonable but 2. Of upmost quality since I was moving my very expensive TV and a grandfather clock that was passed down all the way down from my great-great grandfather. My co-worker had just used Moving APT and he recommended highly. I did my research and they were a highly rated company that had been around for almost 21 years. I called in and was quickly attended to--the process was very professional, thorough, and most importantly an honest quote. The representative took the inventory of my three bedroom apartment, (which was honestly much easier than I thought,) he went on to explain the whole moving process, and the advantages of a move coordinated by them, the price was very competitive and I reserved my truck right then and there. I was then given by my representative his personal line and email which was very reassuring. I was then transferred over to the customer service department of Moving APT where they verified my information and provided me some good tips on moving. They called me the following morning to check up on me and schedule a call to make sure I had all my questions answered. The day of the move was when I realized I had made the right choice. The crew was courteous, professional, clean, and handled all my furniture with great care, they especially did a great job with the packing of my TV and grandfather clock! The crew was pretty efficient and finished in about 2-3 hours. We coordinated my delivery and they all said goodbye to all of us and left a family a little less stressed out than the day before. My delivery was fast and well coordinated, and most importantly there was great communication! I would highly recommend Moving APT to anyone looking for an affordable move without having to cutback on quality--if you're curious, my furniture, boxes, TV, and most importantly our family's grandfather clock made it to Ohio in the same condition it left Texas. Thank you Moving APT and thank you for always being there to answer all my questions! Letting all my friends and family know!
