Description of Work: If you want the best camera system for your house, choose Moon Security Systems with Ram (pronounced "Rom") and Roberto installing your system. Ram and Roberto are an excellent team. Ram thoroughly knows his products and Roberto is an amazing technician. Ram spent two hours with us on a Saturday to discuss the specifications of the equipment we wanted installed. He never rushed the initial process to layout the camera system we wanted. The equipment Rom and Roberto installed is top-notched. The system monitor mounted in our kitchen controlled with a wireless infra-red mouse was a key selling point in our decision to chose Moon Security Systems. In addition, the details of the other gear used was impressive. Ram installed a 8-channel vice a 4-channel DVD recorder, a uninterrupted power supply (UPS) to ensure the system continued to record during a loss of power, premium camera mounts, and most of all the camera resolution, sensitivity, and contrast is amazing. The software that enables remote monitoring from a smart phone, iPad, and computer exceeded our expectations of viewing and replaying the camera output while in or away from the house. We discussed with Ram a request to install a doorbell video monitoing system with a handheld remote with video monitor and he provided an excellent product that we are impressed with. Ram spent a lot of time with us to teach us how to use and access the system. Roberto is a master technician. He used his magic to install five cameras in which the cables were expertly routed in the walls without seeing any cable with minimial impact to our house. By looking at his work, you would assume the camera system was installed as a part of the construction of the house because you cannot see where or how he routed the cables. This was no easy task because of how our house is constructed with cement walls and aluminum beams. I strongly recommend Moon Security Systems for anyone considering a camera system for their home or business

Description of Work: I contacted Moon Security for a quote as well as several other companies. I wanted to replace an older alarm system to take advantage of features offered by modern security systems. I chose the option to remotely monitor the alarm, received text notifications of when the system was turned on, off or alarmed. What sold me on Moon Security was Ram's approach. He was less concerned about "selling" me and more concerned about ensuring I got a great system that met my needs at a competitive price. I had Ram set me up with the cellular monitoring service he offers too. One of the nice aspects to Moon Security, at least in my case, is that Ram did not require that I sign an annual contract! Any good company should know, charge a fair price, treat your customers right and service contracts are not necessary to retain business. In my case, I purchased the system equipment, so a monitoring contract would not have been justifiable for a company to recoup their initial expenses during installation. Taking this into consideration, some companies still wanted to me sign a contract even through I wanted to purchase the entire system. I showed them the door. I also had an 8 camera CCTV system that I purchased elsewhere that I wanted to install. Ram was initially reluctant to install it for me since It was a system he was unfamiliar with and therefore may not be able to provide support later. I understood his reluctance since so many people would end up blaming the installer if something went wrong with the equipment later. He decided to help me out and installed it for me anyway. He made several installation suggestions for improvement to the system and included those in his install price. He reccomended I upgrade to a better CCTV cable and power supply over what the system came with. The system is working great and his install methods were sound.
