Very good and professional people.

Fast, friendly, professional.

I used Kilby as they had an excellent rating on Angie's List, my current air-condition repair company was not available since they were closed due to extended New Year's break. Kilby came out to my home only about an hour after phoning them and the service man (Mike Patten) as well as his assistant were very professional. They stayed to make sure there were no other problems with the breaker and I felt they were doing a good job, not rushing out to go to the next job. In addition, I was given a discount due to being an Angie's list member!

We actually used them twice within a small time window. The first time, they were able to come out the same day to provide an estimate. We were told by an AC person we would need to upgrade the fuses on the board to 55 amp and replace the cabling. When Kilby came out they said we would need 50 amp fuses and would not need to replace the cabling, even though I told them I thought we would need it. This immediately was a good sign that they didn't want to sell for the sake of selling. The second time didn't require an estimate, they came out and repaired three outlets that never worked properly (sometimes they worked, sometimes they didn't). Everything is working as it should now! Kilby is definitely a company I would do business with again, they are now my "go to" electrical company. Very polite, professional, punctual, and knowledgeable. They are definitely not cheap, but as the old adage goes, you get what you pay for.

They were here for 3 hours and they work they did was very professional, quick and well done. They only thing was that the paving company did not leave the cables out, so they had to find them and that took the longest, but after that they did a thorough job. Their price was between 500 and 800.

The experience was very good, they are very dependable. They were punctual and professional and the price was ok. They did put a little crack in the wall when they changed the switches, but otherwise we haven't had any problems.

I sent them an email inquiring if they install security cameras and if they did not could they refer someone who did. I got a call back from the company where he told me that they do security cameras and he set up a time to come out and meet with my husband and I. He came out ten minutes late for the appointment and spent over an hour walking around out property with us. He took notes and we discussed what we wanted and what we were looking for. When we were finished he told us that he was going to look everything over and come up with a couple of proposals with all of our options. After a week of not hearing from him I called and left a message. I did not get a call back. After two weeks of not hearing from him I called and left another message. He called back to tell me that he was still working on it and that he would get back to me. After three weeks I called and got a hold of him. He told me that he was still working on it, but that he would email it to me that day. I have never received a proposal. He wasted over an hour of our time with the estimate and three weeks waiting for a proposal.

Arrived on time, reviewed work to be done, replaced fixture explaining difference in new neon bulbs, and cleaned up.

I would use the company again, and will be calling them soon for more work in my house. After reading the recommendation on Angie's List, I called for an appointment. We scheduled a time, the day before the appointment the company called (the person calling was very friendly and polite) to confirm and the next day the electrician arrived on time. The work was completed in a short time, there was not much of a mess made, but the electrician cleaned up after himself. The job didn't take very long, he was very professional, polite and did a good job. I thought the price was fine, but I didn't do any comparison shopping, so I really can't say if the amount was the going rate; it seemed very fair. I chose them because of the recommendations, their location is nearby and the appointment time was early morning, and I was able to get to work and not be so late.

I don't want to use their service, too expensive to my taste.

They were here within a couple of days of my call and quickly installed the wiring through the attic for the new outlet. They did the work without creating a mess and what there was, they cleaned up well. I recommend them.

I found this company on Angie's List as I usually find my needs, and I'm glad that I did. I purchased a ceiling fan last week at Home Depot and I wanted it installed professionally. I called Kilby and I spoke with Liz, who set up the appt. for today. She was extremely pleasant and helpful. She even called me this morning to advise me that he was on the way. The electrician, Cornet, was right on time and he was very clean and professional. He asked me pertinent questions as to the way I wished things done, and then he proceeded to do the job. He moved my furniture carefully and even laid down a blanket so as not to get my rug and carpeting dirty. He hung the fan and did all the wiring in just 2 hrs. time. He measured out the distance, etc., before ever starting the installation. I was very pleased with his courteousness and professionalism. I told Cornet that I wished to put another fan in my bedroom and that I would be calling Kilby and request him to install it when I'm ready.

The company's owner/estimator evaluated the job the same day I called, was helpful and friendly, and did not (like another company we got an estimate from) try and scare us into doing $10,000 worth of work on our aging electrical system. The estimate was comparable to what we got from others. The two guys who actually performed the work, were competent and efficient, but did not - maybe - have the greatest people skills. Everyone spoke English well.

Had considerable amount of (satisfactory) work done by Kilby about a month ago, but light over garage stopped working so called to report this one day shy of the month. Was told that if problem was due to product or workmanship, warranty would cover. Original worker, Tirso, arrived on time and his helper immediately checked photo sensor cell and light fixture. Said problem could be ballast, which was NOT replaced at time of original work. Checked ballast and determined it was OK so rechecked sensor and determined that it was faulty. This honesty was so much appreciated: he could easily have told us the problem was in the ballast and could have "fixed" THAT as well as replaced the sensor and we would not have known that the only problem was a defective sensor. We were charged nothing because of the faulty sensor. We were very impressed with the punctuality, professionalism and honesty of this company and would recommend them.

Repeated requests to have someone come and give a proposal to replace our FPL box and the cables inside fell on deaf ears. I explained each time I called that the cables in the box could be hazardous, and needed to be replaced as soon as possible. I was always told how ''busy'' they were and the secretary would ''grab'' someone when they walked by and have them call me. I do not feel they were very professional, and obviously they don't need any new business!!!

I called this company in the morning and they sent out an electrician that afternoon. He was very professional and polite, quickly found the problem and fixed it.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THEY ARE A TOP NOTCH COMPANY. THEY CAME OUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER WE CALLED THEM. THEY ASSURED US THAT EVERYTHING WOULD BE WORKING PROPERLY IN A FEW DAYS AND IT WAS.

I HAVE USED OTHERS TO DO WIRING AROUND MY HOME, BUT I WAS PLEASED WITH HOW PROFESSIONAL THEY WERE. THEY EVEN MANAGED TO WORK AROUND MY DOGS UNTIL I COULD GET THEM OUT OF THE WAY.
