Getting the initial inspection took quite a long time to arrange. This is the reason for a B on the punctuality grade. Once completed, I asked them to also do all the repairs to the system to make it functional again. The work they performed was great and the products reliable. The costs were more than expected, but not excessive given the amount of work done on the system. I'd certainly use them again.

The service crew and very professional and worked well together. The lead worker Will was very well informed. He explained the work he was doing and the reasons for it. I received a one year warrenty on service and materials. I was happy with the work and signed up for a service contract.

The coupon I bought was titled "$55 Hurricane Tree Preparedness, Maintenance, and $100 Credit ($300 value)". When Peter came to my residence, I asked what was included in the "Tree Preparedness and Maintenance" to which he informed me (in what sounded like a rehearsed spiel) that I had not correctly read the fine print of the coupon, and that in fact no actual tree service was included in the coupon. So I further inquired about what exactly was the "$300 value" that I had paid for. He gave a semantic explanation that was premised on the notion that a "$300 value" does not equate to "$300 of service". While I would expect this kind of tortured logic in a courtroom, I never expected it from a service provider. I was emphatically told that the only things included in the coupon were: 1) a $45 discount ($100 credit let $55 paid), 2) fertilizer for the trimmed trees, and 3) consultation. I told Peter that I didn't think consultation should be provided in the list of included services, as consultations are generally free. Peter snapped back, "Nothing is free!" Of course, perusal of their Angie's List profile would show that, Greenstar advertises "Free estimates and consultations." I would have normally let all of this slide, except for the fact that they never actually provided me with the fertilizer, the one tangible item that Peter told me would be included with the coupon. I have since contacted Greenstar once per week for the past 6 weeks, and as of today no fertilizer service has been provided. I am at a loss as to how somebody first does a bait and switch with a coupon (fallaciously offering "Tree Preparedness, Maintenance" at a "$300 value" but only providing consultation, fertilizer, and a $45 discount), and then later does not even honor the portions of the coupon that are not convenient, writing to me, "[Fertilizer] is not something I do on a daily basis it was just something I offered in the deal."

His crew did a wonderful jobs and exceeded my expectations. They finished so quickly and professionally. I was amazed.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I plan to use them again.

He set up an appointment. He showed up on time. He finished his work within reasonable time and satisfaction. Very professional. Been in business for a long time. Very satisfied with the overall job.

They were at my house for 5 days and all the staff worked hard and were very pleasant.

Peter Masi visited the property in conjunction with the special on Angie's List and recommended the long-overdue service and quoted his price, which I thought was fair. He sent a formal scope of work and estimate within a couple of days and his crew (of two) arrived, as scheduled. The work took one full workday. The sprinkler system now works much better with the properly installed heads. The mechanic suggested we also get a new pump, which we will arrange with Peter in the near future. They returned promptly a couple of days later, at my request, to correct a minor mistake.

They did a very nice job. They were very persistent, pompous, they set themselves at a deadline, worked until it was done, got everything done, and did a really nice job. The price I paid was exceptionally more than the Big Deal but it seems reasonable to me. They're very good.

Service people were courteous and knowledgeable, Did what was promised in the promotional offer (adjust sprinklers) and fixed or replaced sprinklers as necessary for an additional charge (OK).

Two nice young gentlemen attended the work in May, 2013, after which, pointed out to me the improvements, and zone coverage, and instructions on how timer is set. Well, during that month, it rained on days I had set the sprinkler to run. I turned it off. Now, I just get around to fertilizing, on 9/23/2013, so used the system, manually. All went well, that night. Next morning, I couldn't get the system to switch, after zone 2. I was also able to see that certain areas lacked proper coverage of water. I contacted Greenstar Landscaping, via e-mail, and when I received no response by 9/27, I phoned and left voice mail. Within a couple hours, owner, Mr. Masi, responded to my phone call, and was unaware to my e-mail. I formed better thoughts about him, then. He said they were working in my area, and will be out soon. As promised, those same two nice young gentlemen responded. I'm sorry I didn't ask their names, but the apparent foreman attended to my concerns in a professional and knowledgeable manner, to my satisfaction. No Charge. his old girl certainly appreciates that, and the short lesson on when, and how often to operate my system, to ward of problems. I kept it dormant, too long. Thank you, Mr. Masi. You are certainly on my "recommend" list.

The people that came to repair my sprinklers were punctual, courteous and professional. I was very pleased with their work. I would definitely use them again and recommend them to anyone who is in need of that kind of work.

It went very well and to my complete satisfaction . Both technicians were very friendly and knowledgeable. Minor comment: They forgot to put a date on the invoice. More major comment: There is no mention of guarantee and/or warranty on the invoice/worksheet.

Once we made our decision to have our existing sprinkler system repaired, we called Pete. He sent us a contract explaining everything that his crew would be doing for us, including repositioning some of the sprinkler heads so the system would operate properly. Within a few days, his two workers came out and replaced all of the sprinkler heads that were no longer working and they cleaned up the areas where the new sprinkler heads were put in. They were very neat and left our property as though they had not been here. We were very impressed with how polite they were. His foreman's name is Will and we would definitely recommend Greenstar Landscaping to do the work and do it properly. We only wish we had known of them much sooner. We are so happy to finally have our sprinkler system working properly. One of our two pumps had gone out and they replaced that also.

The workers (2) were on time and worked hard at trimming my trees. As I am allergic to mangoes (leaves, sap, etc.) I could not stay outside while they worked, but I came out frequently and made suggestions and offered comments. I asked that they thin out some of the branches overhanging my shed. They offered to cut back a branch hanging into my neighbor's yard and I agreed, but asked them not to cut too much. When I looked next, far too much had been cut! There were no branches except those going high above us and they were trimmed so that there was almost no green to be seen. The man told me that was the proper way to trim a fruit tree. There was nothing to argue about, the work, the damage, was done. They were on time, hard working men, but, either I was totally unable to describe adequately what I wanted or they were so fixed on what they thought was the proper way to trim a fruit tree. I was not happy with the results. I shared that with both the workers and the owner.

Excellent overall experience, from quoting, obtaining permits, performing the job, and clean up. Peter was personally involved during the whole process. Very professional. I definitely recommend Greenstar Landscaping.

Bob did the estimate the first day I called him. He was knowledgeable about the trees and gave me good advice. His price was way cheaper than everyone else that have me an estimate. Later he admitted he undercharged me by mistake, but still did the work well and fast, when I called him after the estimate.

We had purchased a big deal for the services. He was punctual and courteous and knowledgeable. I had to have him come back out to redo one of the sprinkler heads.

They did what was necessary to fix my problem. They did not tear up too much of my lawn. They moved a tree for me as a courtesy, which I think was nice. I think they are reliable. They were punctual. The owner came out to see the situation and they came out and fixed it the next day.

Guys were very nice and spoke perfect English (!!). Professional and efficient, neat and did a nice job. I have to admit the yard does look much more lush and green.

William and his assistant were highly experienced in this field and were happy to answer every question I had. Note that this was a very small job (as irrigation systems go) yet the time from initial contact to work completed was less than 48 hours. Possibly they were able to respond so quickly because my small work could be added to the end of a larger, already scheduled job. Like they say on the TV, "Your results may vary". The cost of service quoted above was after the Angie's List 10% Certificate was credited. Excellence from every viewpoint.
