It went so much better than what we could have expected. At first we thought it was a lot of money but then we saw their work/effort and believe it was worth every penny. Peter was and is constantly checking up on the work of his crew and keeps coming back to look at their work. Gives us constant advice on how to care for the lawn and plants. We are very fortunate to have contracted with Greenstar and recommend them with the highest confidence. Let me add another feature to Angie's list and that is the kind of people you let into your home. These people behaved like gentlemen.

Peter showed up as promised and assessed the system. He made some long term recommendations. I ended up just getting the system operational for the time being. I will definitely give them a call when ready to upgrade.

I did not hire this contractor even though he seemed knowledgeable. I was not ready for an expensive sprinkler repair job at the time.

I originally purchased the $32 irrigation diagnostic special. Peter was in contact with me the next day and at my house that same day. He took the time to look over my irrigation system in depth and answer all my questions. He did not try to upsell any services and it was based on his professionalism and knowledge that I inquired as to a cost to fix the issues I was having. I decided to hire them to repair my irrigation system and provide some upgrades. Peter and his crew were back at my house the next day and went above and beyond on the repairs. They even upgraded items they discovered needed to be upgraded without charging me for the additional work. Peter and his crew are the most professional, punctual, and knowledgeable company I have dealt with yet.

Some pipes going to the sprinklers were broken and the manifold had cracks on it. Greenstar Landscaping was able to fix the broken pipes and replace the manifold. They also performed a tune up of the sprinkler heads. Make sure you double check the work for leaks after 2-3 irrigation cycles to make sure everything is done properly.

BUYER BEWARE. I bought the deal for an "irrigation tune-up". Do not buy this. It is nothing more than an estimate--get another company who gives free estimates (there are LOTS of them!). I just received a FREE estimate from another very reputable company for my irrigation system, tree removal/tree trimming, and landscape design/implementation and will happily be giving the business to that company instead.

As soon as my new lanscaping was completed by another provider, I needed irrigation work done to repair or replace my 17 year old non-functioning sprinkler timer, and to move or add sprinkler heads to cover watering my new plants. I called Greenstar and owner, Peter Masi, came out to see the yard and give me an estimate within a day or two. We found that the landscaper had planted on top of some of the old sprinkler heads, and broke one line under the bushes that were removed and planted with replacement plants. It was a bigger job than I thought when I called. However, I am investing in my yard and wanted to have the sprinkler help me support that, so doing it right was a priority for me. The team led by Will who did the work within a few days of the estimate was very professional, explained everything, carefully moved the new plants, the stones, the mulch, etc. so that they could repair the broken line and put in new heads in just the right places. One area near my front walkway had no existing sprinklet line and they suggested drip line that goes in the ground to water there. However, it required moving and then replacing the pavers for my walkway in order to put it in and tie to the existing sprinkler line. They did a great job. I would never know that they did that if I had not seen it. All of the sprinkler heads water the grass and plants and not the pavement or neighbor's yards. The type of head is appropriate for the use and will help conserve water but still provide the proper irrigation. The only hitch was when an improperly buried and marked cable line was cut by them because they thought is was sprinkler line. As soon as it happened, Will knocked on the door to let me know. I was able to get the cable company out to fix it the same day. The cable company (Comcast) indicated that it was the wrong color and buried too shallow and was thus very easy to mistake for sprinkler system line. Not everything goes smoothly in any project, but knowing what was going on without delay made this just a ripple and not a big impact. i appreciate the professionalism ivolved in keeping me informed of everything. The team set the sprinkler timer up for me on the right watering days and let me know that after my plants are established that I should adjust it in the way they described. I'm satisfied with the job and would recommend them.

Will and Donovan arrived at my house about 1-1/2 weeks before work was done. Performed an estimate on what was needed, and found a broken pipe, as well as old sprinklers on zone 1, which were fixed. The reason for the service, though, was to add a second zone to my backyard. After Peter Masi provided the estimate for the job (at $1000), I accepted the proposal, requested the 10% discount for Angie's list customers (which was quickly accepted), and set a date. Will and Donovan arrived as promised, at the time they said they would, and started the work. It took about 5 to 6 hours to complete the job. Will is knowledgeable in his craft, and gave me very clear and helpful input on what was being done, and things that I should do to operate the replaced timer. Both Will and Donovan were professional, and felt that I had the right company doing the job. After work was performed, a full test was done to the system, and it worked flawlessly and to this date, system is operating great. Cleanup was done, and they left the place just as it looked before they arrived - this is important as much work was done to dig holes and alleys in ground for piping, so it shows dedication in completeness to the job. If you need a sprinkler system or just need to update it, I highly recommend Greenstar.

It went very well. The appointment was made and carried out in a timely manner. The person who came out was very knowledgeable. He checked all the sprinkler heads and other functions of the system. The best part was that he did not try to up-sell me with any services beyond the tune-up. I would highly recommend them.

Great. The company was very responsive and answered all my questions in a timely manner. The gentleman who came out was incredibly knowledgeable. The price to repair the system was not the cheapest, but fair. Will end up using them once I decide to move forward with repairs.

I have a 1940's house with a well sprinkler system that is probably equally as old. I got an estimate and they repaired my sprinkler system as agreed. They connected to existing pipe and configured the system so my entire yard and plants were watered. Good quality work and a fair price.

Prompt, professional, knowledgeable, courteous - everything you expect from an Angie's List referral. We re-sodded our back yard, only to discover that the sprinkler system was broken. So now I have this beautiful new sod, and no watering system, in the middle of the dry season. I called a few providers from Angie's List, but nobody was able to come quickly. Greenstar called me back in the evening (around 6:00) and sent two technicians the next day (a Saturday). They fixed an electrical problem, inspected the system, fixed some leaks, and made some adjustments. They explained in great detail how to care for my new sod. They also gave me a reasonable quote for some additional work that needed to be done (adding some heads, and fixing the timer system). Overall, I'm very satisfied and would use them again.

All the work in less than 4 hours. Clean.

Very professional, punctual, courteous. Gave detailed proposal however the price was so outrageously high in comparison to other bids, we did not use the company. We had the work done by Turfworx at a fraction of the cost.

Service crew showed up on time, provided an estimate of the cost (which was reasonable) and immediately performed the work. The crew was professional and all work was done to my satisfaction.

Greenstar replaced all the heads and adjusted the timer. I signed up for their Silver periodic maintenance plan so that they will be coming out 4 times a year. I thought that the price was fair and they came out in a timely manner.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. They were on time and did a good job. I paid extra because I wanted them to change some of the heads on the sprinkler system. They were very polite and very professional.

The scheduling process was easy, the two-man team arrived on time and acted professionally, and the work was done as specified. Ultimately, everything turned out well.

They were great and they did the job efficiently.

Peter emailed me a quote that was ridiculously high compared to the other quotes we were given. It included a complete revamp of the system even though he had not even tested the system from what another irrigation company said (i.e., the other irrigation company said it had to set the timer to see if the sprinklers worked and perform other work necessary to evaluating the sprinkler system). I found out later that I could have gotten a quote for free and, in the end, I hired a company that gave me a free quote charged a lot less than what Greenstar quoted.
