Peter was very nice but ultimately we chose another company to do the service.

they did not show the first day - I got a call that something changed and could they come tomorrow. I had taken off to be there but said yes. next day no show no call - I contacted them and they apologized and wanted to reschedule again but two strikes and you are out with me. they might be a perfectly good company and this could be a fluke but no show no call is unacceptable in my book,

Excellent service, very professional and punctual with his appointments. Office staff making the calls is responsive and respectful as well.. Would highly recommend George to anyone needing sprinkler system installation/improvements. Very happy with the results.

Peter came to the house, reviewed my entire irrigation system and my well pump. He explained everything that needed improving and upgrading. He sent his crew the following morning and they worked incredibly hard for 3 days to get the job done! Everyone on the crew was polite and respectful. The job regarding the pump was very challenging because they had difficulty finding the well head and they had to remove part of my pavers , but in the end the job was completed the pavers were reset and everything is working perfectly! I would highly recommend this company. They have fair prices, quality workmanship, and polite professional attitudes!

They came out to do the service when it was pouring rain and very late in the evening - it was dark. They did not do the service. I tried to reach them to reschedule but they never called me back.

It went very well. They arrived on time and discussed with me exactly what they were going to do with each tree. They were very safety conscious wearing safety gear and ropes. They gave me advice on the continued care of my trees and left my back yard in pristine condition. All of the trimmings were stacked and ready for county pick-up as we had agreed. Overall it was a really good experience. I highly recommend their services and will use them again as needed.

Greenstar does good reliable landscape work. This is my second time using them for tree removal and trimming work. Peter saved me from some poor decisions and gave good advice for hedges that would work in the yard. Will continue to use in the future.

They were professional, they did not disturb my other system that mist the mosquito killing substance. They were in time. No complaints. On a contrary. Congratulations to the workers and the management.

When I called this company in September, Peter immediately came out and gave us an estimate for the job which involved pruning 4 mango trees, a large litchi tree and a smaller longan tree. We scheduled the job for the month of October (some of my trees still had mangoes in them so we wanted to wait a month). The crew came out last week and did a great job, they were very careful and conscientiously pruned the trees so that they would not have the butchered appearance which had occurred in the past with other companies. I definitely recommend Greenstar and would use this company in the future.

Great! I called Greenstar because my sprinkler system would not turn off. There was a problem with the timer (it wouldn't shut off). I called Peter, he came out and shut the timer off. He sent his guys out the next day and replaced the timer.

They did the tune up, then recommended more sprinkler heads for an additional fee. I said okay. While installing the new sprinkler heads they messed up my pump. They offered to fix what they messed up for an additional $300.00 to $500.00 fee with out knowing exactly what was wrong. Also one of the new sprinklers in the back yard only works with the front yard sprinklers. I would definitely not use them again or recommend them to anyone in the future.

Everything went fine. Pete came by a couple of times to make sure that the new, small plants were getting enough water. He even came by when we were away to water. Pete is very professional and he works as if it was his own yard.

He came out to do an audit or look at the system but his recommendation was like thousands of dollar of repair and I just fell little with what I have. He did what he did and he was not trying to up sell me. He told me that his recommendation was to rip up the whole system for the whole new one in. I have brought him out there to tweak couple of things or replace couple of sprinkler head but he was interested in redoing the whole system which I wasn't prepared to pay for. So I just thank him for the assessment and I'll do it myself. I'll just fix couple of things. I was thinking he was going to offer me something reasonable. However, the guy was professional, timely and thorough but he didn't do much work. He just looked at the system and gave me a quote to do more work.

The work turned out fine. They did a good job. I asked them to do a whole of bunch of different things and they did everything like they were supposed to.

The inspection was helpful. He was extremely knowledgable and very professional.

Called them to look at my sprinkler system that needed extensive work on a very large property. A young girl called back and tried to sell me a $32.00 diagnostic tune-up. I told them I wasn't interested in a tune up but was interested in an estimate for a large repair or replacement. She didn't care and simply hung up on me. Evidently if you don't give them the $32.00 up front they are not interested. I'm not in the habit of paying someone for the priviledge of doing business. Anytime we get work done we get at least three estimates before deciding. Not the way I do business.

Came to inspect remnants of exisitng sprinkler system; quickly I decided that I liked Will's expertise (although he's no longer w/the company) and that it was time to take the plunge on getting a proper functional sprinkler system going, plus re-sod after a year of home repairs. Peter came out to inspect, evaluate, determine what sod would work vs. what I was asking for, and figure out the right layout. Has been working like a charm ever since. And on a routine post-work inspection, he determined that my puppy had chewed to death 2 of the sprinkler heads, he replaced them right away rather than waiting for a second visit.

I wasn't happy with the Deal. It seemed like this was really just a sales pitch. They did not do anything.

called the owner came out within a set appointment slot, and spent time scoping the work, thoroughly. Irrigation work, was my main issue, which essentially was a complete new system based on the amount of heads and relocation work necessary. Had done a new driveway and pool deck and destroyed the old system, left sleeves for the contractor and he used them. He however is a perfectionist, and relocated basically every head and double and triple checked to ensure full coverage. Guys did an walk thru and demonstration, were courteous, cleaned up and i highly recommend this company. Liked them so much i will use them for my tree trimming work. Felt the prices were in line, and actually a great value for the service provided and professionalism. No games no up charges no gimmick, just a good job. First experience on Angies (A Home Run).

What a WONDERFUL experience it was to encounter Peter Masi and his staff. I was certain that our sprinkler system had to be overhauled due to damage done during the installation of pavers. It seemed as though the workers who installed the pavers took great pains to destroy every single pipe in the sprinkler system. After inspecting the conditions Peter was very forth coming about the cost to install a new system and explained that the paver company had really done us a disservice by not allowing the system to be updated while the ground had been prepared for the pavers. His provided several options during the inspection with an attempt to not incur further costs and also not to disturb the new pavers. After considering the cost of a new system we opted to simple cap off the pump and plant more drought resistant ground cover. Peter provided that service with speed and efficiency ? leaving the area cleaner than it was beforehand. The service was done for a VERY reasonable price and he even waived the $35 fee for the original inspection. It was truly refreshing to have such a direct and honest interaction with a company. I highly recommend Greenstar Landscaping and would not hesitate to use them in the future.

I wrote to Greenstar via their website contact form, this past Saturday afternoon. A few hours later I received a reply from Peter Masi (President) saying that his office manager would call me Monday morning. It is now Monday evening and I did not hear from them all day. My project was time-sensitive and I needed to make a decision as fast as possible. Over the weekend I sent several emails to Angie's List providers on Saturday and was able to have two other landscapers come see my home on Sunday and provide me with quotes by that evening. Understandably many providers will have different schedules and not be able to respond to such a fast deadline. I appreciated a fast original response, and was disappointed that I did not at least hear from this company's manager as promised.

Peter was punctual and professional when he came to do the quote. So was Marisa who booked the appointment. We were a little worried when Peter didn't do the work himself after he gave the quote however the 3 guys who repaired the system did a good job and were thorough.

Overpriced by a large amount compared to certified competitors

The whole team of Greenstar has been very helpful, responsive and professional. They came to our new house to check our irrigation system and within an hour also repaired everything. They also explained me how everything works. Moreover, Peter and his team came to trim our big tree at the entrance of our house in order to make it hurricane safe and also to look better. The team arrived punctually and worked quickly and professionally. Peter has generally been very helpful to give advice on what and how to maintain and secure our garden. We definately had a great experience with Greenstar and will use them again in the future for further work.

They are responsive, polite and understand what they do. They fixed all my sprinkler system and the quality of the job was just fine. Price was fair too, not the cheapest, not the most expensive. I was very satisfied in overall terms.
