Description of Work: Arrived promptly, very professional demeanor. Made appointment through the Whirlpool website. Oven was broken. Turned out to be a blown fuse behind the oven's control panel. 10 minutes later we we charged $275. Yep

Hello [member name removed], thank you for your review. We were able to locate your double oven repair ticket from August 2013. I see you were charged $215 for the fuse replacement, but the visit took nearly an hour and a half. Might the technician have removed the unit himself? This could have been a two technician job since your unit appears to be built in. I see you also dealt with an electrician at the time. Is there a chance you requested our technician to wait for the electrician's diagnosis that same day? Since this repair was two years ago, the technician involved does not recall the exact occurrences. A standard fuse replacement would not cost you that labor tier. Description of Work: I called to set an appointment to have my oven fixed. I was told there's a $98 service fee just for coming out, which is in addition to labor and parts. I asked if this would be waived if they did the job and I was told no. I think $98 charge just to come out is ridiculous so I didn't make the appointment.

Description of Work: Needed my dryer repaired and my appliance company referred me to Flamingo (their Atlanta offices). The repairman came out when promised and diagnosed the problem correctly. The parts (timer and start switch) had to be ordered, so they came back out when promised (later that week). Dryer works now as good as new!

An appliance technician from another company had misdiagnosed the problem with our washer. We ordered and installed the part that the other technician indicated was the problem, but the washer still wasn't operating properly. We then contacted Flamingo, which is an authorized Whirlpool representative. The Flamingo technician recognized and properly diagnosed the problem. He was very professional and obviously knew what he was doing. I wish we had contacted Flamino first, and highly recommend this company.
