Description of Work: Arrived promptly, very professional demeanor. Made appointment through the Whirlpool website. Oven was broken. Turned out to be a blown fuse behind the oven's control panel. 10 minutes later we we charged $275. Yep

Description of Work: I called to set an appointment to have my oven fixed. I was told there's a $98 service fee just for coming out, which is in addition to labor and parts. I asked if this would be waived if they did the job and I was told no. I think $98 charge just to come out is ridiculous so I didn't make the appointment.

Description of Work: Needed my dryer repaired and my appliance company referred me to Flamingo (their Atlanta offices). The repairman came out when promised and diagnosed the problem correctly. The parts (timer and start switch) had to be ordered, so they came back out when promised (later that week). Dryer works now as good as new!

Description of Work: Everything was high quality with this service but I thought the spring rod for my microwave door was ridiculously high at $162.00.

Description of Work: Attempted to fix a brand new Electrolux dishwasher that ran once and the seal melted and blew all over the inside of the dishwasher. Service guy ripped out the seal and said "I will not clean up that sticky mess" and left. Flamingo called and said a part was on order and it would arrive on Friday and they would install it on Monday the next week. We called the Applicance Store where we bought the dishwasher to express our concern with the broken dishwasher, the service person and the lack of urgency on Flamingo's part to address the situation. On Friday of the same week, Flamingo called back and said that the part was not coming in and they did not know when they would get it. Again, another call to the Applicance store. Then Flamingo was scheduled to repair on Wednesday of the next week. So Wednesday came and a different service person came. He refused to fix the dishwasher because the melted seal could not be gotten out of the track and if he scrapped it out, the dishwasher would rust and or leak. So he left. Now we are in week 3 and Electrolux, Flamingo and the Appliance Store need pictures taken to see the damage. So the same repair guy comes. He states that they need to give us a new dishwasher as this is not fixable. Then on Wednesday of week 3 Flamingo calls and says they can fix it, but have to order the part and don't know when the part will come in. So here we sit going into week 4 with a dishwasher that will not work, a horrible applicance repair service and the Appliance Store not being willing to get me a new dishwasher. So, don't ever buy an Electrolux Dishwasher in Florida, don't every use Flamingo Appliance Service and don't ever buy an Appliance from Jessup's in Bradenton or Sarasota, Florida.
