Falcon Plumbing

Falcon was unable to fix my clogged drain in my kitchen. They ran a snake a couple of different ways and were unable to clear it. Eventually, they recommended a camera be put down there to see what was going on. There was a concern about a possible breakage in the pipe and ultimately they wanted to have me call an adjustor so they could tear up my kitchen in order to locate and fix the problem. This would have been a huge job and a costly one that would've required filing a claim with my insurance company. I decided to get a second opinion before having to tear up and replace my kitchen. We called another plumber recommended by a friend and within 30 minutes he had unclogged the drain and now a couple of months later we have had no problems. The new plumber feels that Falcon may just have been running their snake down the wrong stack which seems like a ridiculous mistake that only a novice would make but Falcon had brought 2 different plumbers, one a master plumber, and they could not fix the problem and were ready to have me destroy my kitchen. It is always important to get a second opinion and just because someone claims to be a "master" does not mean there is not someone out there with just a little more common sense. I called Wendy after I had my problem resolved to let her know what had happened and I never received a call back. Maybe she did not want to hear what I had to say? I would not call Falcon again for any serious plumbing issues, unfortunately.

Customer service was excellent. Our business requires hot water and our old heater started to leak at the bottom. Falcon Plumbing came in quickly with a new heater and installed it. The worker was very clean and polite. Pricing was very reasonable.

Wendy was fantastic on the phone. She walking me through shutting down the water for the house so it didn't get worse. She sent a plumber AND HE WAS ON TIME!!! Not only did he fix the problem but cleaned up the water too!! I would use Falcon Plumbing again in a NY minute!!

Went very well. Wendy is pleasure to work with and the prices got better as we asked Falcon plumbing to do more work. Plumber was terrific and very fast. Highly recommended vendor with very reasonable prices.

The woman that answered the telephone, told me how to turn the water off to my house before she even asked for my information. I received a call when the service man was on his way. He gave me the price after he looked at the job. I agreed on the price and the work was done perfectly and I have my a tub spout that works now. Falcon Plumbing is the best plumbing company I have ever used!

Tech called to update arrival time, arrived when promised, tech was pleasant and explained the work needed. This is when it all went wrong. I had paid $39 for the "deal" which supposedly gave me a $50 credit. The quote was $309.59 less $50 so I paid $39 plus $259.59 for work that took 15 minutes and a $12 faucet and $2 adaptor. I should have just "eaten" the $39 but felt committed as I had paid it already. Lesson, don't go for the deal without getting the estimate first!

My complaint is with Angie's List's lack of clarity on the deal, more than Falcon Plumbing. The plumber was late due to a mix-up of the date. (I do have the email with the scheduled date, and I was correct, btw). The Falcon office clerk was pleasant and helpful. I understand mistakes happen, but appreciate when effort is made to correct them, and she did. The plumber, however, was unhappy about being led off his usual route in the late afternoon, and he displayed his frustration throughout the visit. (Even that I understand, although it is better for business that personal frustration is kept out of the business transaction.) The work was small, and he completed it in a timely fashion, frustration notwithstanding. The problem was the bill. The offer says:"$39 for a Plumbing Call, and Credit Toward repairs.." This led me to believe (and others, according to the plumber) that the service required no additional payment. He complained that he would be "cheated" out of his fee. In the end, he charged me $149--after giving me $39 in credit for the Angie's deal, and another $50 from the company. If true, that would mean the repair was worth $238---not at all reasonable, even for typically over-priced south FL. Please be aware of the practices of Falcon Plumbing regarding the Angie's List deal.. The deal was for $39.00 for a service call, plus a credit of $50 for repairs, "a $150 value". I was charged $149.00 for the labor for the toilet fill valve replacement (which took approx. 15 minutes -- I supplied the part). Then given the $50 repair credit . So I was, in fact, charged the full amount for the service call- it was just called something else. There is no way that this is a $150 value. And, there are other recent reviews for Falcon where much more work was performed for a much lower price - which just confirms my point. So if you are depending on this Angie's List Deal to save you money or point you in the direction of a business that will treat you fairly, think again. And please be aware that you are NOT paying $39 for the service call, because you will be charged an exorbitant fee for whatever minimal work is performed and this is not really a "deal" at all. MAYBE you are paying $39 for a $50 credit, but that's not what the deal said. I called the Falcon office right after the work was performed to discuss the charges, and was told (rudely) that it wasn't their problem and to contact Angie's List. Angie's List says that it's something I have to take up with the business. So it seems that my only recourse is to warn others. Other comments - technician was pleasant, called to let me know that he would be later than planned. He did replace the supply line without checking with me, but it was only $15 more. No problem with the repairs so far, but it's only been 3 days.

It went very well. Anthony the plumber is a professional. He knows the business and displayed excellent customer relations. I would recommend Falcon plumbing to anyone that asks and I will use them again. In the military they say Bravo Zulu for a job well done. Bravo Zulu.

Very happy with the results. It took less time than I thought and Chris was very friendly and professional. He not only was on time, he was a little early which was fine with me. Note to others: Falcon charges by the job and not by the hour, which I really appreciated. It's nice going in knowing exactly how much it's going to cost. It was more expensive than I anticipated, but I blame that more on bad advice from my friend as well as how much work was involved, which wasn't Falcon Plumbing's fault. I highly recommend this company, it is woman owned and Wendy truly cares about her customers and the quality of work her employees provide!

Finally, a plumbing company who get's it right! I actually had 2 other plumbing companies who couldn't even find the leak, so I had been living with a little bucket under my sink for the last year. It finally got bad enough to take it to the next level.I went on Angie's list and Falcon Plumbing was offering a good deal which first caught my attention. Wendy from Falcon contacted me right away by email. Once I called, I soon discovered that I was in good hands. I personally love when I find someone easy to communicate with, shows compassion and takes ownership from beginning to end to make sure your experience with their company stands out. Within 24 hours, the technician Chris was at my door and he couldn't have been more pleasant, knowledgeable and efficient. He found the problem within 2 minutes and had all the tools and parts replacements in the truck. I can't tell you how many other service companies that have shown up and had to come back because they didn't carry something that was needed to take care of a job. I highly recommend Falcon Plumbing! Thank you!

Falcon's service rep replaced and reconfigured entire under the sink trap. Also fixed a faucet handle that needed a special Allen wrench. It tool a diagnosis, a trip to Home Depot and the actual labor. All done efficiently and cleanly.

Technician called me to let me know he was 30 minutes away. Showed up on time. Figured out what was wrong and fixed the problem in an hour.

He came out on an emergency weekend plumbing issue, which is why the cost was a bit higher than normal. Anyway, he checked the plumbing thoroughly to find the issue...which happened to be a leak in the tub...plumbing was perfect.

Spoke to Wendy on the phone, she was a pleasure to speak with. The service call went very well. The plumber was on time and professional. They fixed our garbage disposal problem and it's working great now.

From the moment I contacted Falcon Plumbing I knew I had chose my the right company for the job. Wendy was a pleasure to speak with on the phone and Chris was knowledgable and professional. I will definitely use them again for any future plumbing issues.

I have to say that one day of Falcon Plumbing is a godsend. We had a major issue with a pipe first thing and she was wonderful. She helped us shut it off so I wouldn't destroy our kitchen. We had emergency service dispatched and the plumber assessed the problem and got right to work. Many thanks to Wendy and her team!

Purchased deal for service call and credit. Scheduled time was for 2/12 between 12-2. I was off that day. I called after 2-3 when they hadn't shown up. Wendy said they were getting so much business from this deal and that's why he was late. She said he'll call. He called around 3:14 to arrive at 4. He was in downtown Miami and it wasn't possible to get here at that time. He arrived after 5. He didn't leave until after 7 pm. When he was done, we looked at it. He agreed the workmanship was not up to standards. He said it was a cheap part. He couldn't stay because it was late. I sent pictures to Wendy on Saturday the 13th. She said she would pass along and have Chris come on Wednesday between 10-12. He did come at 11:30 on time. He never says a word about billing for his 2nd trip. I legitimately believed they would be coming back to finish the job properly. He told me he would go to Home Depot and knew the part I needed and would pick a good unit for me. I gave him full discretion to select the part. He knew what I was looking for. He never called. He didn't go to Home Depot. He shows up without the part. In interim, I had gotten a part that was acceptable. He then says, he will be giving me a bill including his time. He was not prepared to do the work. The bill was $301.71 and did not have any breakdown of costs. Wendy said they would be giving a $25 discount for repeat business. He never took off the $25 off the bill. I called Wendy. At a minimum, they should have said there would be an additional charge. They blindsided me with this charge. She claimed me they were losing money on this deal. It cost me 2 days of my time from work. The $50 discount from the $375, should have been $325 and instead became $345 on the bill. The preparation of the invoice is an abomination. The invoice does not breakdown labor costs.

Price was higher than anticipated; called back to have the price explained, was promised a call back which I never received.

Chris arrived at my house very shortly after my call for emergency service. He worked very diligently until the problem was solved and everything was working 100%. Chris was very friendly to deal with. Thank you, Chris!

We had an old toilet in the guest bathroom that kept malfunctioning. Since I have used Falcon Plumbing before I called them for help. Wendy answered the phone in her usual cheerful manner and we scheduled an appointment. I met with the technician he recommended we replace the unit so that we don't have re-occurring issues with it. We decided to do it since the holidays here and we were going to have house guests. We were not sure what to get because of the color scheme of the bathroom so technician put Wendy back on the phone. After taking 15 minutes on the phone Wendy asked if she could do some research because she didn't feel that a "stock" toilet would be a nice fit. 2 hours later she texted us with several choices she thought would be make the room better. She called us back and consulted with us to make sure we picked out something we would be happy with. We picked one, set the price and set another time for the installation. The technician came, put it in and it really made a difference in the room. We could not have been happier!! The technician was courteous, respectful and VERY clean. it was as if he was never there. Also, the price we received was well in line with what we have seen at Lowes and Home Depot. A HUGE thank you to Wendy and Falcon plumbing for help and experience.

The tech was friendly, professional, clean, and the customer service was excellent. A friend recommended them and I will recommended them too.

Really needs help in the customer service department.

When I called, Wendy answered the phone in a very cheerful voice. She was very friendly and made me feel comfortable immediately. She scheduled a service call for later the same day and Chris arrived at the appointed time. Chris was prompt and friendly and analyzed the problem quickly. He gave me a quote and after I accepted it, he ordered the part for the next day at noon. We told him we had to leave at 2:00 PM for a previous appointment so he promised he would be finished by then. On Friday, Chris arrived a few minutes after noon, drained and removed the old water heater, installed the new water heater, reconfigured all the copper water connections, including a new shut-off valve, and was done precisely at 2:00 PM. Great job by a great guy.

Turned off water supply to problem at my request. They did a great job. The technician was great and very professional.
