Given their reputation on Angie's List, I was disappointed that I did not get a return phone call, not even the next day. When I called again, I was told only emergencies are handled on weekends. It would have been nice to have received a return phone call to tell me this. I requested an appointment to repair the circuit and have several fixtures installed. I was quoted some prices that were expensive, and then was told this work is done only Monday threw Friday. It appears their client base consists of retirees and the wealthy who are able to wait all day for them. Some of us have to work Monday threw Friday and can't or don't want to take time off to wait for service. A business strategy change should be in order if they want new customers.

They were friendly on the phone, came when they said they would and fixed the problem so the AC worked when he left.

They were completely professional. They were the only company with a year guarantee. They were the only company to repair cracks and holes in the ceiling due to weight, including one very large one where a worker almost fell through.

The ladies in the office that scheduled the work were courteous and professional and the job was scheduled without a significant delay. Matthew and his team did an excellent job. They arrived on-time, were very professional, were as neat as possible and cleaned up before they left. Although I found them to be a little more costly than the competition, there was never any effort to sell me something I didn't need and they offered suggestions to save me some money. I believe that I received good value for the extra dollars that I spent. I would use them again in a heartbeat and would highly recommend them to others.

The technician was on time, helpful, and very professional. I have already recommended the company to other people. I thought the prices were reasonable.

A huge waste of time based upon the amount of calls made, the care-free attitude that "We don't do that" after having explained the job and set the appointment and being told it was scheduled. Waiting all day for a service man was an even bigger waste of time.

Everyone we dealt with was professional & courteous. They came out the same day we called, even though it wasn't an emergency. Price was reasonable and comparable to other companies for similar work. We will definitely use them again.

The company scheduled an appointment for the day after I called; the electrician arrived on time, worked efficiently and finished the job in a reasonable time (important because the company bills by the hour). He was polite and very friendly. The work appears to be of excellent quality. He happily honored my Angie's List discount coupon.

Fairly long wait for service, but non critical in nature. Prompt, efficient work, thought the final bill was a tad on the high side.

The waiting period was less than I expected. Eddy Ortiz checked the affected area and restored power quickly. Besides he took time so we could understand what he had done. It was a very nice experience and I would call back this company without hesitation.

This company is a rip-off. They charged me $99 for nothing; quoted one price on other things and then tried to write the order up for more and tried to sell me a worthless ''maintenance'' plan. Stay away.

They have done several things for me thorough out the years including installing switches and lights. They are good. They seem to know what they are doing. They are competitively priced.

They arrived less than 2 hours after I called and fixed the air conditioner in a short amount of time. They were very courteous, easy to talk with, and reasonably priced. After checking some things, they pointed out a problem we have with the placement of the thermostat. I would definitely call them again.

The technician was on time, friendly and courteous. He repaired the circuit, and explained why it wasn't working. He also inspected the breaker boxes in the garage. Great service.

It was a big job to convert our house to circuit breaker. The county checked their work twice and were satisfied with the work this company did. They may not be the cheapest but they are professional, courteous, and worth the expense. They arrived when they said they would. They will come back and fix things until you are satisfied.

Unpleasant, not helpful, and rude on the phone.

They wanted to charge me a service fee to give me an estimate before doing the work. I was on the phone with them giving them all my information & they never mentioned a fee- I felt that they should have been more forthcoming.

THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THEY SHOWED UP AND GOT THE JOB DONE. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE. THEY PICKED UP ALL OF THE MESS. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND COURTEOUS. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM.

THE SUPERVISOR IS UTMOST PROFESSIONAL AND GIVES US FACTS INSTEAD OF OPINIONS. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICES THAT THIS COMPANY HAS PROVIDED FOR US.

HE DID A VERY GOOD JOB AND SHOWED UP ON TIME. HE GOT THE WORK DONE IN A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME. IT WAS KIND OF EXPENSIVE, BUT I NEEDED IT DONE AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. HE WAS THE ONLY ONE THAT COULD GET TO IT RIGHT AWAY.

THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THE DID NOT TRY TO OVER ENGINEER OR OVER-CHARGE THE JOB. THEY EXPLAINED THE WORK THEY WERE GOING TO DO AND HOW LONG IT WOULD TAKE. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL.

I THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE VERY EXPENSIVE. THE WORK THAT THEY DID COULD HAVE BEEN BETTER. THEY PUT A LOT OF HOLES IN OUR WALL AND, THEY DID NOT REPAIR ALL OF THEM LIKE THEY SAID THEY WOULD.

THEY DO A GREAT JOB. THEY ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY ALWAYS ARRIVE ON TIME. THEY ARE VERY FRIENDLY. THEY GET THE JOB DONE IN NO TIME. I HAVE RECOMMENDED THEM TO MY FRIENDS.

THEY DID VERY POOR WORK IN MY HOME. THEY WERE UNRESPONSIVE, AND VERY EXPENSIVE. IN MY OPINION THIS COMPANY IS VERY OVERRATED. I WILL NEVER HIRE HELMS ELECTRIC AGAIN, AND I URGE OTHERS TO STAY AWAY.
