Bob did not tell me anything that contradicted my neighbor's assessment. He did not try to immediately sell me a new unit. He patiently explained everything and showed me the issues in the unit. In effect, he made sure that I clearly understood the situation. He was very helpful. He installed the capacitor to get the unit functioning, so I could cool my house. He also told me to ask that the price be applied towards the cost of the new unit.

They came promptly and got the job done in timely manner. They did a great job and so far everything is working great. The whole experience was stress free.

Gave me an appointment right away. Arrived on time, worked very efficiently and charged as promised. John Rankin was a nice guy and checked everything out, replaced sub-standard ground wire and a corroded 20-amp breaker that was going to cause trouble later.

He showed up on time, fair with price, here about 2 hours. Gave me 10% off for Angies List.

My original appointment time was between 10 and 12 on Friday and on Thursday Leslie from the office called and asked me if someone could come Friday at 9 am, which was fine. Amauri actually showed up about 8:20 am, which ended up working out fine. He came in and I gave him a description of the issues. After unscrewing all of the fixtures in question, he told me that he needed to go to the home improvement store to get the parts because all the original switches were wrong. Of course I groaned inwardly, thinking of him going to get an Egg McMuffin or something on my dollar, but he was back in barely 25 minutes. He fixed everything just the way I wanted it and was finished in a total of 1 1/2 hours, a relief for me since they charge by the half hour. When it was time for the bill, the total he gave me (including the 10% off for labor from Angie's List coupon) was EXACTLY what I calculated, down to the penny. Amauri was very professional and prompt!

Fantastic. Mr. Torres was patient, thorough, and respectful. The latter was important since one of my "problems" was my lack of understanding of light switches. He made recommendations that were economical and improved the quality of my exterior lighting.

The work was excellent. Since I didn't have any hot water, he offered to come back that same night to complete this job.

Technician identified problem immediately & proceeded with repair. He also verified that the compressor was operating in the normal range.

I came home from vacation to find my upstairs A/C unit had leaked through the ceiling. I called Edd Helms, and a representative was there the next day. The representative was punctual. He was very courteous and did a great job. He gave me a play-by-play of the repair and made suggestions about what I could do in the future. The price was reasonable and he also inspected my other a/c unit outside (I have a 1929 house with three units).

He worked for one and a half hours. There was a 10% discount available. The total was $173.00. I certainly would recommend this company very highly. It was a pleasant experience. The work had been scheduled for Thursday. However, I got a call on Tuesday, 2 days earlier from Mr. Helms. He had a man available to do the jobs on Tuesday if I was interested. I agreed, and in about one half hour, the repairman appeared. He was a polite, pleasant young man.

They were very professional and they showed up on time. He did a very good job and the price was very good. He came like 40 minutes after I called him. I think he is a very reliable worker, and I will definitely hire him again.

From the start Edd was great and I felt comfortable with him working around my house. He showed up on time, and his rates were really good, he charged me an hourly rate, and he only worked for about 2 hours.

They provide excellent service. I wouldn't use anybody else. This is a 5-star company.

The fact that I had scheduling requirements is what took so long for the work to be scheduled. As soon as we had an agreed time, they were right out and did a great job. They are a reliable, professional company that is very available.

I'm seventy three years old and I don't know a whole lot about electrical devices but he explained everything that he did in great detail. He walked me through step by step as he was working. He also finished very quickly.

They were very professional. It took two days. They worked constantly. They got along well with family members who were there during the work.

The job went very well. Marilyn Chang, my "liaison" with the Edd Helms office, was very helpful and friendly whenever I had questions. Despite a delay caused by me in getting our permits opened, she and Matthew Agostini, the head electrician, were patient and persistent. The electricial crew on site were prompt, hard working, friendly, polite, did good work, and worked well with the building's personnel. Not only was their work top-notch, they cleaned up every evening and kept me apprised of the status of the work. The job took longer than originally estimated, but that seemed to be because of unexpected issues with the wiring rather than a lack of effort on anyone's part.

I located Ed Helms Electric through Angie's List. I was panicked about not having use of a stove for the weekend. They went out of their way to accommodate me, and had Craig to my house within two hours. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and quick. Then all I had to do was try to convince Sears to come back.

I was very happy with the work, especially since a few days prior I called another company that told me that my entire breaker box needed to be replaced as well as the wiring from my FPL box - a job that would cost me $3200!

Long story short, the problem was not fixed, water is still seeping up from the line. I called the company to come back out and fix the problem and received attitude over the phone when I requested for them to come back out again. They also tried to get out of coming back by placing blame on the condo and saying that it was probably drain lines in the building and it was the condo's responsibility. A rep finally came out to recheck the problem and then told me that in order to MAYBE fix the problem it would cost $1400 and then he didn't know if it would fix it because he is not sure what the problem is. SO they want me to pay them $1400 dollars to rule out something they are not sure of. I am sorry I called them in the first place. Now I am out $400 for a problem that remains.

After talking to a lot of companies I was told I had a very difficult installation because of limited space in my attic for the air handle. Several companied refused to even bid on the job. This company assured me they could do the job without major renovation and in one day! They did it! They showed up in the morning and by 5pm they were done! No problems, very clean and very professional. After years of dealing with so called repair people in Miami, this was a pleasure. They did a very hard job on time and at the price quoted with no surprises. After years of dealing with one bad air conditioning service company after another this was a pleasure!

I went to their website and they have a form you can fill out on-line to schedule a service call. I was called back rather quickly. There was no problems taking the coupon from this website. I also had questions about an electrical issue. I was transfered and got a quote on that also but have not scheduled them to come by. I was a little upset because they do not fix wall units, just central. I have both types in my home and both were broken. The men came and found the problem and had the item to fix it. They also cleaned out the unit before they left. I have 3 rather friendly dogs. This did not phase the men who came to fix it and they made sure the gate was closed as they were working. The man did not know about the coupon I had but he called into the office and it was promptly deducted from my total. All in all, I would say that it seemed a little higher than other companies but when the 10% was taken off, it was a little cheaper. So, basically an average call.

Very disappointed in overall company professionalism.

They did extremely well. Mike Wood was the supervisor for this job, and he was very friendly and professional to work with. He spent many hours talking to us and looking at our electrical set up that we had at our 2 building complex. He was very thorough in his assessment of this job, and the overall job went very smoothly. They worked on Friday and Saturday for 3 weekends to complete the job. We had asked for this schedule, as we didn't want any down time for our business. We are completely happy with all the work done. They did excellent work. They are nice workers, do neat work, and best of all, I have no more electrical problems!

He did a fine job. After 2 days he was able to come out and I would highly recommend them.
