Excellent! Very professional gentleman (Matthew), on time, everything was cleaned up well, work looks wonderful, and you can't even tell they were here! No problems whatsoever.

At time of making appointment, was quoted the $94 minimum charge, but this was applied to the charge for work I agreed to have done after system inspection. Inspection and cleaning went ok and technician removed air handler blower unit and cleaned it thoroughly. Outside unit also checked to include refrigerant pressures etc. Technician called electronic air filtration expert to get advice on remedying fault in that system. Technician required 4 hours to complete his activities. Systems functioning well one hour after technician departed. I also applied a coupon from Angie's List to receive a 10% discount (in this case, worth about $37.00).

Very friendly service rep, excellent installers and everyone was extremely punctual. There was a brief problem when a UV lamp from the old unit wasn't replaced into the new one as promised, but that was cleared up in minutes. The new unit works far better than my old one, too. No complaints at all.

On time and a very pleasent tech guy. There was a problem when after installation the fan worked but the attached light fixture didn't. Seemed to be a problem with the ballast, which he said the fan didn't really need anyhow and would be safe to work around. So he got the job done without me running back to Lowe's and all that. Very professional.

Overall, this service was excellent in all regards. I called when the a/c stopped working and I had no idea why. I called at 8 am and by 11 am they were already at my house. I was worried that this was going to be a major a/c repair or replacement project, since the unit's 5+ years old and out of warranty, but the tech started by checking the power suply which, as it turns out, was the problem. He replaced the fuse box itself, which clearly showed signs of electric scarring, rewired the connection to the a/c unit, and was done in less than 2 hours for less than $300 total (parts and labor). Also, the tech was very friendly and professional, and took time to explain the problem and alternative resolutions. In the end, I was very VERY pleased with this company's service and would recommend them highly to anyone. Oh yeah, the next day, a CSR from the company also followed up with a phone call just to make sure everything was okay and that I was satisfied with the service. That was nice touch, too!

They say they will come at 8? They are there at 8. The guy came, worked non-stop through my list, did exactly as I asked, checked with me constantly with questions, and generally was a 100% perfect guy in every way. So I now have Edd Helms here doing my HVAC! I'm calling them for EVERYTHING! I would use Edd Helms for everything service that they offer. They are just total professionals in every sense of the word.

I went with a company that does not feel the need to charge a quote fee so you are trapped into using them.

The project, of course, never got started.

If cost had not been an object I would have gone with them. They were significantly higher than the other companies I contacted. The scope of the work that they offered was greater than everyone else. Their price was fair for what they were going to do, but I didn't want everything done that they wanted to do.

He was able to perform the service and also found that the light was not up to code. He took care of this as well. He explained everything he was doing as he went along and everything went very well.

The technician came promptly within the hour time frame that was arranged. He was very pleasant and professional. He fixed the car port light and had to come back later for the front door light as he needed another device for that and I had originally just wanted him to give me an estimate. They switched his schedule around so that he could come back the same day and finish the job. Again he came back when he said he would and was just great. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again.

They showed up shortly after I called. He was a very nice man. They were very polite young men. I was very satisfied with their services. They were here when they said they would be here. The price was very reasonable.

They were very professional and did a good job. After the installation, there was some problem with the unit and they were responsive and came over and fixed it. Their pricing was reasonable and the quality of their work was good.

They do plumbing and electrical work. They were very professional and showed up on time for the job. The price was reasonable and ended up being exactly what they originally quoted. I was very happy with their services.

I was a little concerned about them in the beginning because I had forgotten what they had charged for me the first time they came out. They fixed my air conditioning unit but unfortunately it did not work. So I called them to come back and fix it. They came back and told me that they would charge me the same amount for redoing the work. I disagreed with them. The representative called his company and then they agreed to fix it if it was the same problem but they told me they would charge me if it was a different problem. They fixed it and I was satisfied with them. They recently came out to do the system maintenance for me. They come out two times a year. They are expensive but their service contract charges are not bad.

They were very good, however they were very expensive. They came out on time and communicated well with me. When he first came out he did not bring a replacement circuit breaker, so he had to go and get one. He took an hour going to get the circuit breaker, for which they charged me.

This generator has been serviced last year by another company and I wasn't happy with their lack of professionalism. This year, I checked the List first, and called Edd Helms. They were very professional and arrived right on time. The technician was professional and careful. The generator was difficult to start and the technician worked quite awhile to get it running smoothly. He kept me informed of what he was doing and why. He noted that a grounding pole had not been installed & explained why one was needed (the company that installed the generator and the prior service company had used an inadequate ground wire & clip).

Our AC stopped working in the middle of July, which was pretty unbearable in Miami, FL. After some mangled attempts to schedule Sears, we scheduled Edd Helms for Wednesday, 9/22. After waiting the three-hour window on the morning of our appointment, Edd Helms was a no show. I was pretty heartbroken (not to mention sweaty) when I heard the service technician say that they had no record of my appointment on file. I spent some time speaking to Ryan, who displayed good customer service skills by sounding upset that the appointment had been botched on his end. He spoke with me for about 10 minutes, getting information on my AC and its problem and promised the next appointment (2 days later) would be on time. Two days later, at 8 am sharp, a technician arrived. Friendly and professional, he diagnosed the problem quickly and determined that he had the needed part to make the repair on the spot. He was able to fix the problem in less than one hour.

I came home from work one evening to find my house was 97 degrees inside. Not knowing any air conditioning repairmen, I checked Angie's List, and called around to find out who could come to my house asap (it was about 9 or 10 pm by that time). Ed Helm's was the first available, and their repairman arrived within about 45 minutes. While the gentleman was a bit surly, I was hot and desperate to have my unit fixed, and also appreciative of the fact that he showed up so quickly. The air handler was fine (it was new and humming along), so the repairmen focused his attentions on the unit outside (which was competely dead). After about 15 minutes of poking around at the unit, he told me the unit was fine, but that I had an electrical problem and electricity was not getting to the unit. I wrote him a check for $150 and he left. The following day, I had two separate air conditioning repairmen look at my unit (without telling them what Ed Helms had diagnosed) and they both independently informed me that the compressor was blown (I didn't tell any of the gentlemen what the others had diagnosed). Given the age of the unit (about 20 years old) I decided to go ahead and replace the entire unit that day. I've had cool air ever since. Annoyed that I had spent $150 to get a COMPLETELY incorrect diagnosis (confirmed independently by two other repairmen, and by the fact that the unit worked fine as soon as it was replaced, without any adjustments to the electrical wiring), I called the company, explained the situation, and requested a refund. The young lady who answered the phone told me she would pass my information on to the service manager, who would call me back. A couple of days later a gentleman returned my call. I repeated the whole story to him, to which he replied that refunds were not given. When I insisted, he told me he wasn't the service manager and didn't have any power to give me a refund. He told me he would give my information to the service manager and she would call me back. When I heard nothing back after about a week, I called again and spoke to the same gentleman. He told me he'd passed my message to the service manager and she would return my call. Three weeks later I still have heard nothing from the company.

Best annual maintenance service experience I have had with any A/C company. Service technician arrived on time. I had a very professional, high quality interaction with service technician who found an existing minor assembly problem and resolved it quickly at no additional charge.

Very responsive, quality support through a complex process, since the units are roof-mounted and the work needed to be cooordinated with the roofing contractor, Professional installation crew handled the installation and interior grate replacement very well. Minor code re-work to improve hurricane straps was handled within a week.

They are professional, responsive, and I would recommend them to others.

Scott Davis was extreme easy to work with. He arrived on time and had everything necessary to complete the job. He also worked with me ahead of time to make sure I bought as much of my own hardware as possible, to save money. He is happy to explain what he is doing and why, which I appreciate. I felt very comfortable working with him. He worked the entire day, barely taking a break, and he did not not talk on the cell phone all day while he was working, which was refreshing.

Had 3 companies out. We have an issue with our office with several computers and halogen lighting being hotter than the rest of the house. The sales guy we didn't choose (with a much lower system price) said that the new A/C would have more BTU's than the old, and the office would be just fine. Helms sales person worked though the issue and offered a larger duct in the office, and an Air Return duct. Sales person came out of wednesday, I wrote a check for 50% to him that day, and Friday I had 4 people at my house installing duct work and the new unit. Installed in a day, clean looking installation, all trash hauled away. We did have an issue with a freon leak requiring a couple of service calls. All were handled professionally with quick service and zero cost to me. (2 years parts and labor).
