They were wonderful. We have a 14-unit two story apartment building with a big courtyard garden. They treated upto 10 feet and avoided the garden. We have a very little loss of our plants in our garden because of the way they treated the place. They were really good. They came out when they said they were going to come out. The guy who gave us the quote was way much cheaper than anyone else. They knew we had tenants, so they minimized how long we had to put people up in a hotel and they were good about that. They dealt with our two specific tenants. They handled them very well. They were wonderful. We would use them again. In fact, we recommended them and two of our friends have used them on our recommendations.

We had scheduled for tenting our new house with Darn Quick. Laura was whom we scheduled everything with. She was a bit pushy but nice. We were scheduled to tent July 31st but we called to see if by any chance there was a cancellation and surely enough a day before the new scheduled date they called and said they could come and tent our house, this was for July 3rd now instead of the 31st. We were excited as we wanted to fumigate prior to move into our new house on Aug 1st. Prior to them coming they asked many questions about the house, they looked it up in the internet to be sure they could tent and at the end they said we were good to go. July 3rd came and they had sid they would come in by 2:30 PM. They came around 3pm. A group of around 10 men came and started preparing the tenting. A while later and while the tenting was being placed, men on our roof and all, another gentleman arrived. They asked how we would pay and we answered by credit card, which was the way we were told we could pay. Suddenly this was an issue as they said their office was closed and we couldn't pay that way, plus we would be charged anyway 4% of the cost of the fumigation, which we were never told. Then, another man shows up saying that the house could not be tented in a very rude way. With no explanation he suddenly told all his crew to pick up that they were leaving. My wife, who was the one there, as I was working, told this gentleman how rude he was and that we would never do business with them again and he replied that that was fine that he suggested we work with a bigger company and he left. A while later he calls my wife back to apologize and to say that he would offer a 50% discount and that he was sorry but at that point it was too late. This man was rude an totally unprofessional. The sad thing is that Armando, the rude guy, was the one who actually came and quoted us in the first place and then he suddenly flips and decides that our house is not fit for tenting this time of the year. We would have understood if he would have come in with a more professional manner or if they would have warned us from the beginning. Now we're stuck with no tenting and we don't know if we'll be able to tent before we go. We do have some termites and we really wanted to get this treatment. We will now seek another company and cross our fingers we don't encounter another company like this. Please stay away. Not worth the headache.

Never showed up. 4 times no show. 6 calls later I'm done with them.

8/22/ The owner of the company arrived exactly on time to give an estimate for tenting the house and explained the process in detail. He was knowledgeable and professional and seemed interested in doing a good job. He described the procedure for protectting the foodstuffs and said that the company would provide the necessary bags. I ran out of the bags I was given and was assured that on tenting day more bags would arrive and someone would help bag the remaining items, which was precisely what happened. The tenting crew was professional, careful, and thorough and worked diligently even though it was an extremely hot day. The tent was removed the next day. I recommend Darn Quick without reservation.

The crew showed up to our house as scheduled on- time, were prepared and started tenting our house. Once tented shot the gas into the house than cleaned up locked the doors, put warning signs up and left! Next day removed the tent, checked gas levels... locked the doors and windows-finished! GREAT JOB!

I found Darn Quick on Angie's list and am completely satisfied with their service. Their price included in depth subterranean termite treatment and was far lower than two other quotes we received. Armando came out right away to explain the procedure and exactly how we were to prepare the house. He brought out special plastic bags meaning we did not have to remove any food from the house. They arrived punctually on Friday morning, tented the house and we were back in the house the next day at 1.30pm. The other companies expected us to spend two nights out of the house and haul away all our food and medicine. Armando even scheduled our treatment during the Christmas holidays at no extra charge. During his last visit before the treatment he even gave us a demo of how to close the bags. His telephone staff was kind and knowledgeable as well and everyone was extremely patient as we coordinated the dates. Once they left there was no sign that they had been there. Everything was as before. I would definitely use this company again.

The tenting seemed to be a success. However, I just had to pay a roofer $1600 to replace dozens of broken tiles that resulted from people walking on my roof during the tent operation. The contract states there is no liability for roof damage so perhaps some damage is expected and perhaps any other company would have caused the same damage. That is impossible to say for sure, however, it seems absurd to spend 900 for a job and then another 1600 to fix the damage created by the job.

Darn Quick was one of three estimates I received for extermination services at my home. We chose Darn Quick because they were professional both over the phone and in person, and Armando was thorough in reviewing his findings when developing his estimate. We had the house tented and the whole process went smoothly. The special bags were delivered on time (a few days before the tenting), and the team tenting the house was punctual and professional. We took advantage of the indoor/outdoor treatment the following week, as recommended. So far, so good (as you would expect only a few weeks after the service), but I'm confident if a problem does arise that Darn Quick will take care of it.

Before I contacted this company, I got different quotes from two big companies and they were of course more expensive and there were hidden costs they weren't telling me about. I didn't care so much about higher initial fees but they just didn't seem honest or thorough with their inspection. My experience with Darn Quick was very efficient and professional. They were always on time and called me before they arrived. They also warned us about the possibility of break in during the tenting so we infomed the police department and we got extra patrol over night. It's been more than a month since we got fumigation done and we are very happy with the result. I would highly recommand this company.

I selected Darn Quick based on previous clients satisfaction and was not disappointed. They were professional, not a minute late for when Armando came to inspect our home and give an estimate, on the day the job was schedule they also showed up on time as well as when they gave the all clear to return home. The office answered all questions and were most accomodating, they really know how to provide excellent customer service.

Shopping for a company to cover your home with a tent and fumigate for termites is not fun. Darn Quick was one of several that I called for an estimate to kill my termites. First thing that impressed me about Darn Quick was that the estimator was right on time and easily measured the cubic feet and cost for the job. Armando Dulzaides was the estimator - he is also the president of the company. His price was very good and he gave me his cell phone number in case I had any questions. It was clear to me that it was personally important to Mr. Dulzaides that the job go well. He assured me that the the work was done with his trained workers - using Darn Quick trucks and equipment. The crew came exactly on time for the fumigation. I appreciate that their English was just fine because my Spanish isn't very good - sometimes a problem for me in Miami. Jose Gonzalez was the licensed specialist to supervise the job, enforce all the posting and preparation regulations, and clear the premises after the fumigation. He and his team were fast and clearly very good at what they do. The tent was set up quickly and with no damage to my home. Everything was "by the book". Next day the fumigation is completed, the tent is removed, the place is ventilated, and Mr. Gonzalez has determined that the place is safe to re-occupy. These guys are real professionals - from beginning to end. Darn Quick's price was good and I couldn't have asked for better service. I'm happy to recommend them and hope your experience is as good as mine. And, of course, the termites are gone. Thanks !

It went great! Armando came out, saw the house, gave his quote, and did the work. I did a lot of research on these guys since it appears the pest control business is full of scams, and they checked out fine. I even called the chemical company to make sure they use the good stuff. The day of the tenting, the did all the work and a couple of days latter they hand me back the key. I'm a happy customer. On top of everything, they were the least expensive of all the companies we called.

Excellent. We had contracted with another company, who essentially dropped us at the last minute (by pushing the date of the tenting beyond the time we would be out of the house), and we had to scramble at the last minute and from long-distance for a new fumigator. Darn Quick was great- - they responded immediately and were able to get the job done within a week while we were out of town. They were professional on the phone and did a great job. Nothing broken, everything went smoothly. We would definitely recommend them.

The company arrived on time for a free estimate for tenting my home for termite extermination. On the scheduled day for tenting they called ahead to say they would be about an hour late - the company arrived at the time given. They covered all details and explained that my costs would be slightly higher due to removal and reinstalling of patio screening.
