Darn Quick Termite & Fumigation Inc

We have tented several times over the past 17 years - Darn Quick was far and above the others. They were very professional, came out quickly and clearly stated what needed to be done. We have a lot of landscaping next to the house that we did not want to lose, as we have in the past. They were excellent in avoiding the landscaping and working around large bougainvilleas. The crew was very professional and arrived on time. The actual fumigator gas man, Rodolfo, was very nice, professional and most importantly, trustworthy. Everything went perfectly on schedule and we were were kept informed at each step. We can recommend these guys highly!

They were very prompt for all appointments (quote, tenting and fumigation, tent removal and ventilation, final testing), and always called the day before each appointment with any time updates. After the quote and signing of agreement, they left plenty of fumigation-proof bags for food and beverages as well as very detailed instructions on what preparation would be required for the fumigation. I was pleasantly surprised when the representative took 10% off the agreement for being an Angie's List member. Getting the house, yard, perishables and family ready for the fumigation is more work than I expected, but that's unavoidable when choosing a treatment that WILL kill the termites. The technicians were very careful to avoid any damage to landscaping or to the house and tile roof. During the second day, when the crew came back to remove the tent and ventilate the house, the supervisor even rebooted a server PC I needed to continue working remotely. All doors and windows were locked and the alarm set before they left. Although I hope I never need to use their services again, I would call them first if a new home need fumigation and would recommend them to anyone who needs tent fumigation for termites. Great work and unbeatable price!

Darn Quick really was darn quick to react to our request. We were short on time since we had painters coming soon, and Darn Quick got it done in time. I believe the price was about $800 - $850 for an 1800 sq. ft. house. They even agreed to pumping a little extra gas for my peace of mind.

So far, I've had no luck getting them to my house. I called to move my first appointment and it wasn't on the books. I've called 4x since then to reschedule and only 1 return call. I wasn't able to answer the phone. Evidently, the person who schedules Angie's List appointments doesn't work very often. Still eating. I sent an Angie's email 2 days ago and no answer so far.

better spend money elsewhere I already have ants and its been like 30 days.

I recommend this company because of the honesty of the manager, Victor Hernandez. We had a bedbug infestation and called him for an estimate to treat. He came to the house within 24 hours, looked over the situation and told us that the problem was so easy to treat that we could do it ourselves. He gave us detailed instructions that we followed and now, about 2 months later, appear to be bed-bug free. So, even though we didn’t use his services for this problem, we would have no hesitation in calling him in the future because we would trust his assessment of any future problem and his recommendation for treatment. As an aside, the reason he said the problem was easy to treat was probably because ours is a single-family house, only my husband and I sleep here, we have no pets and no rugs, and our house is pretty much clutter-free. Even so, treatment involves a lot of physical labor, whether or not you hire a professional, because you have to move everything out of each inhabited bedroom and wash all clothing stored therein. The best thing you can do now, before you have a problem, is to buy and install bedbug-proof mattress and box-spring covers. Then, if you ever do have bedbugs, half the battle is already fought. The worse thing you can do upon discovery of bedbugs is to freak out and stop sleeping in your bed and/or throw out your beds. Either of these actions will only make the problem worse and more expensive to treat. Call a professional and, until he comes, use masking tape to capture all exposed bedbugs (they are slow and lazy).

Darn Quick made the whole process very easy for us. They were prompt and very professional. They also provided the bags to put our food in so we wouldn't have to remove everything from the house.

It went spectacular. These guys are the best. They were on-time, efficient, polite. They were just exceptional - it was mind-blowing just how great they were. I still can't believe it. I would use them again and would recommend them to anybody.

Fine. The ant invasion eventually went away but we had several different people spray so difficult to tell what finally got them to leave. They are on time and professional.

Called a couple weeks ago to have a 2200 sf house fumigated. Mercedes happened to have a tech.in the area and got me a quote the next day (darnquick). Very professional and on time. Thankyou to all the crew at DarnQuick. William

I used a big deal to address some minor ant problems. They were able to schedule me in just a few days. The gentleman who came was courteous and concerned about the well-being of my dog (since he was spraying pesticides around the house). It was, across the board, a good service experience and I would use them again.

They were quick and very instructional on how to do the procedure.

This termite company was very disappointing. I called for a quote to have my home tented. The lady who answered said she had no idea how much it would cost but would be happy to send out her estimator the following day. She said that i would have a quote by the end of the next day. Well i never heard from them again... this was probably a good thing before i spent any money with a company who can't even provide a quote.

I purchased a big deal for this service and it worked out fine. They came out about a week after I purchased the deal. The spray treatment worked good. We still have some problems, but it worked pretty good. I think I went to another company afterwards. I think they did the job I was expecting them to do.

Good basic service.

I had no snags or problems. I had originally scheduled several weeks later but they put me on a waiting list. They called me early and were prompt in providing materials to store during the tenting. I found them professional in their efforts. They worked diligently in the hot sun. Our situation was a bit different because we were not living at the house at the time but they arrived to remove the tent when they said they would so we cannot complain of delay. I just found them an excellent value. I would certainly use them again.

Had an initial issue that was resolved immediately by the owner Mercy. Her professionalism and attention to detail is sometimes hard to find and is WELL appreciated.A month later no return of my ants or roach issue!

This company put a toxic fumigation tent on my neighbor's property the day before Thanksgiving and is leaving it up for 48 hours without regard for the neighborhood and neighborhood pets. (Not to mention my neighbor's utter lack of courtesy, tenting a house the day before the Thanksgiving Holiday). Of course, this company is closed on Thanksgiving, so they can provide no information about when the tent will be removed. There should be law that forces these poison peddlers to remove these tents in 24 hours. These people should be put out of business. I would never use any fumigation company that uses toxic poisons. I have used a safe, non-toxic, pest control company for years (Alternative Termite Control) and have been completely satisfied with that non-toxic, safe, and environmentally friendly method of pest control.

They never contacted me or showed up. I tried contacting them and never got any response.

Prompt with their quote, completed job as stated on time and professionally. One night tenting was deemed sufficient; provided plastic ziplock bags for items such as linens and clear preparation instructions.

It went fine. We didn't see any bugs for a long time.

Spoke to Mercedes about the dates that i am available but the last time we did the date no one called or show up.
