It was a first rate experience from talking to the woman who does the scheduling to the completed word. There were no surprises.

I spoke to Lola on Friday and scheduled the work on Monday. I'm very pleased that she had someone available but she said it has to be at 9am. I said perfect because I have to go in to work early anyway. Here's the experience: They were on time. 9am on the dot! They surveyed the bathtub and went to work right away. They brought a good amount of equipment including a portable air duct that blow out dust outside through the window...pros :) Both guys were very polite and friendly. I had to leave for work and told them I'd be back in couple of hours. He called me before noon...wow talk about fast! My tub looks new and they even cleaned up after...bonus! Wish all household service companies are as professional as this company. I definitely will spread the word around about my experience with America Bathtub!

One the best experiences I have had with any company, they are responsive and efficient. After my initial call to Lola, she was able to give me a firm quote over the phone and scheduled the work to be done. Their employee came on time and was very friendly and effective at his job, he went right to work and was done in about 4 hours, cleaned his work area and headed out. Came out great! Plus they have a life time warranty on their work done from cracking and other related workmanship defects.

He was on time and he did what he needed to do. He did a good job and cleaned up after himself.

The company gave me an estimate over the phone. Based on other reviews on Angie's list, we decided to hire them to refinish two tubs. What a great decision! The technician was right on time, explained exactly what he would do and how long it would take. He carefully taped off all faucets and adjacent walls and went to work. We had him refinish two tubs - one with a large nick in the porcelain and the other a fiberglass finish that was worn out from six years of tenants. Both bathtubs look and feel brand new. The fiberglass one now looks like porcelain. What a savings! We highly recommend this service. Thanks, Angie.

I spoke with Lola Vilagut on 7/13/12, she was very professional to deal with via the phone and gave me the price as well. I made the appointment for 7/17/12 for 9am. My porcelain bathtub was 8 yrs old and had to be stripped from a previous company that did the work and repair the bubbling from poor workmanship. After 2 hours the tub looks FANTASTIC. Clean up was professional you would never know that my tub was refinished.

I am very satisfied with their work. They have always given me a lower price every time I have contracted them.

Our house is in an historically designated section of town. We were nervous, because we had had our sink refinished in the past and it did not wear well. Plus the old medicine cabinet above the sink was rusty and later we discovered it had actually rusted through. Lola took the time to review photos of the project and calmed our anxiety. They were able to repair the cabinet to our total satisfaction with fiberglass and the sink turned out beautifully. We plan to call them back to do a tub and sink in another bathroom.

Excellent job! But what I want to really complimment them is also the pre-work service. My Building is a pain in the neck to approve contractors. I contacted 2 other highly rated at Angie's list before reaching Lola (America Bathtub) and one (ken) told me upfront that he had no insurance and no desire to keep one due to costs, the other one (Btando) strung me along for a week and then stopped responding to my calls. Lola was upfront and on the same day got me the insurance and worker's comp. As soon as the association in my apt approved them, to my surprise, I was able to set up an apptmt without delays (they have more than one professionl in house). That was a good surprise since the other two said they were busy and it would take at least 2 weeks of waiting (it is X-Mas time...). Needless to say the bathtub came out beautiful. Last note: I asked Lola to give me an estimate on refinishing my ceramic Kitchen sink and she was honest enough to say they charged $150 but would not recommend such job since it would not last- What a honesty!!!!

I called and got preliminary information on the phone and made an appointment. They arrived as scheduled and worked efficiently and without breaks until they finished the job. Friendly, polite, and professional. I only wish the cost would have been just a bit less.

I contact the company and was immediately quoted a price over the phone for the work to be done. Lola was very helpful and sent out someone to work on my tub a few days later. The tub was finished on one day and looks so much better!

Great! Came out to give me an estimate since this was not your typical "bathtub refinish". I sent them color samples so that they could order the special pigments. All work, from preparation throught completion, was done with utmost precision. Noel was right on time and very good at his profession. Neat, tidy, cleaned up everything when finished. I would not hesitate to use America Bathtub & Tile Refinishing again.
