They did an EXCELLENT job!!! The day started by the promptness of the service guy. I wish I caught his name, but kudos to him. He arrived 25 minutes early, and started the job by 9am, right on time. He sealed and protected everything in the bathroom. It took about 3 hours for him to complete the tub. He cleaned up by removing every piece of paper, tape, etc. He was super nice and the price was perfect!! Without looking any further, I would highly recommend them.

When I first contacted the company I left a message with my information and hoped for a return call. To my surprise, I received one within about 15 minutes. We were able to set up an appointment for the work, and I was given the price. On the service date, Eduarado arrived on time (actually a little early!), and completed the work promptly. He was courteous, and although he didn't speak much English, we were able to communicate and I appreciated that he made the effort to do so. The work was completed within the time frame that had been specified, and Eduardo cleaned the are. I must admit that I had to clean off the door knob and some other areas which had some bits of residue, but all-in-all I am highly satisfied with both the work and the price.

It went beautifully. Junior arrived early, about 20 minutes, got to work immediately repairing the hole in the tub. When it was time to refinish the tub, he covered all areas of the bathroom with brown paper, including the floor. We conferred on the color which he matched perfectly to the tile. (this bathroom is 22 years old). The finished product was more than I anticipated. The tub looks brand new with a beautiful shine and new caulking. If I haven't be there to witness the transformation I would think the tub has been replaced. Would highly recommend this company. Junior was professional, neat and highly skilled. Definitely an A+ company.

Without me even being there (trustworthy) they went into the apartment I rent out, did the job in one day, and left it spotless. Such a great job and turnaround I just called for my tubs today at 3:30 and they will be on the job at 9am tomorrow! Not bad for Miami and the lag time it is known for. They want the work and they respond accordingly. No need to search further as I have done the leg work for you.

They were prompt and professional. The tub looks like new. I am very pleased with their work. (Of course, the real question might be how the tub will look some years from now, but all I can say is that it looks very good right now and from all indications it will still be good years in the future.)

I am in the process of redoing my bathroom and thought about painting the bathtub instead of going through the pain and aggravation of converting to a shower. My other bathtub remodeling was a horror story. Anyway I'm so glad I did! These people are 100% professionals. From my first phone conversation to the person in the office (she was a delight to work with) who somehow was nice enough to find a spot for me when there was nothing available this week, to the person that came to do the job who was actually early...unheard of in Miami....the whole experience was glitch free. The worker was very professional and did a terrific job. Not only that, he made sure he did no leave until I looked over the job and was fully satisfied. Overall an A++++++

They showed up on time and finished very quickly. I was very pleased with how everything turned out. So much so that I want to do the same thing for the house that I live in. He was very pleasant and very professional.

It was great working with Lola at America Bathtub. I gave her the dimensions of each bathtub as well as e-mailed her photos so she could see the few gouges in the Roman tub (which had resulted from a recent tile job). She provided me with an estimate on June 3 and the work was done on June 8 (I had told her this was not a rush job). The two gentlemen that refinished the tubs arrived on time, worked diligently and I'm very happy with the job they did on each tub.

From first phone call, made positive impression -- friendly, helpful, informative, able to schedule job exactly when needed. Honored Angie's List discount. Arrived exactly on time. All behavior professional and courteous. Never had this kind of thing done before, so can't compare, but tub looks beautiful--it was done just yesterday, so haven't used it yet. The smell took some time to exit; after he left, I set up my own big fan to direct the fumes out the bathroom window--no ceiling vents here, which is probably why it took a while. By evening, much, much better, and could remove fan this morning--odor just about gone. Landlord hasn't seen it yet, but am confident he'll be pleased.

The experienced was very positive. I called and spoke to Lola who set a date for the job. The employee came on time and worked very professionally without wasting any time. He prep the area, put some fans for ventilation and did the job in around 3 hours. Gave me instructions on how to treat the newly refinished tub. Three weeks later I called back as I saw a little bit of new rust near the drain and without any hesitation Lola gave me an appointment and they showed up again and fixed it. Overall the experience was great and I would recommend it to anyone.

I had a little difficulty discussing the project in detail with the estimator who was also the man who did the work as he spoke mostly Spanish. He told me how much the job would cost - which I understood - and left. I expected to hear from his boss to confirm the price and to find out whether I was going to award them the job. I didn't hear anything for a couple of weeks so I called Lola the owner and she apologized profusely and explained I should have received a call right away and that she would not have the estimator do any further estimates for non Spanish speaking clients. In the future there would only be english speaking estimators and company contacts for english speaking clients. The fact that I speak a little Spanish and the owner Lola is fluent in English and that they were advertised with good reviews in Angie's list persuaded me to give American the job. The work was accomplished on time and with very professional results.

I have to say, American and Bathtub and Tile was such a pleasure to deal with. Their customer service was exceptional. Starting with the initial phone call. The representative on the line was willing to see a phone video of our bathroom and quickly gave suggestions...great suggestions. The crew showed up early 15 minutes before the appointment time. I loved the fact that I did not have to wait for them. The job was almost odorless and they were clean! They worked quietly and diligently. Extremely professional!

I would definitely use them again. The refinisher showed up on time and focused on getting the job done. He even came back the next day, after the finish dried to reset the glass doors and their track. His workmanship was excellent. The end result was better then I expected.

They are really fast and on time. We didn't have to wait for them. I always talk to Lola and she is very nice. I would recommend them. They are coming back to do a third tub.

They did a wonderful job! He arrived on time and as exactly as stated, finished in four hours. I would definitely recommend them to someone else.

They refinished a turquoise bathtub and its surrounding yellow tile and baseboard. Everything looks fantastic. I am so happy that I did this instead of replacing the tub and tile. This costs a fraction of the price and involved minimal disruption. I am amazed at what a difference it made in my bathroom. Anyone who is hesitant to do this, as I was, should just do it. This company was fantastic.

The technician arrived a few minutes early, went right to work and refinished two tubs in just a few hours. He was neat, thorough, and the tubs look brand new. He cleaned up immaculately and and left, no muss, no fuss, just a delightful experience. He used multiple exhust fans to remove odors and I stayed in and out of both houses throughout the morning. Wish that all other contractors on this job were like them, I'd be done by now. Bravo!

The refinisher arrived promptly and completed the jobin less than half a day. He put up plastic around the tub and sink and used an exhaust fan for the fumes. He cleaned up very well. The sink and tub look much better than before. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to a friend or relative.

Initial contact with America Bathtub was great. They were responsive and prepared my quote immediately based on photos of the damage. They showed up when they said they would and were pleasant and professional. The job did not go perfectly. However, I will give them an excellent rating because of their commitment to getting the job done right, even if it took several visits. The bathroom was being remodeled and, due to the conditions, we ended up with some dirt in the bathtub refinish. The came back to buff it out, but the attempt was unsuccessful, so they came out a third time, redid the affected area and got it taken care of. Their good attitude and reassurance that they would leave a high quality repair more than made up for the inconvenience of having extra visits. Not everything will go right every time, and being able to depend on a company to be professional and responsible AFTER they have been paid is not always something you can count on. I would certainly use them again or recommend them to friends.
