 + -1 moreI don't understand why some people can't be straight forward and tell you they're too busy or just not interested in your project. Lost 7 1/2 weeks waiting for Alligator Pool to start the work until I decided I had enough. Would not recommend the company unless you really don't care when the job will be performed.
Description of Work: After more than 7 weeks since contract was signed I still would not get a date from the company when the job would be done. Decided to pull the plug and look for another provider.

He gave me a time he would be there which he met and completed the work in a short amount of time. I was extremely happy with Alan and Alligator and will continue to use them for all of my pool needs going forward.
Description of Work: Alligator did my pool adjustment after diamondbrite as well as minor repairs to the pool pump and plumbing.

 + -1 morePrepping home for sale and had issue with leaking pool. Pool went completely green. EXisting pool service no place to be found. Contracted Alligator and received call back from owner the same day. He came out the next day to inspect the pool. Received estimate back within 24 hours for required repairs and refinishing work. Even though he would not have a team available to do the full refinishing for a few weeks, the owner (Alan) came by and emptied and cleaned the pool so we could go ahead with preparations to get the house on the market. Team arrived as scheduled. Did a great job on skimmer replacement and tile/brick repairs. Team was very professional and completed work as promised.

 + -1 moreAllen and his crew did a great job from start to finish. With our first meeting, Allen was able to answer all my questions and provide the assurance that he could do the job on-time, and on-budget. His terms were refreshing: if I didn't like the job, then I shouldn't pay him. I asked for a reference and Allen promptly complied with someone in the neighbor. She had nothing but nice things to say about Allen and his work. Allen gave me a date he could do the work about a month out. I asked if he was sure he could hit that date as I would be planning to be home the same week. Allen said no problem. Ten days before the scheduled date, Allen arranged for a permit. No badgering, no fuss, now worry. The Friday before the job, a guy dropped off the all the materials for the job. Over the three days of job site work, his crew arrived, did their work, cleaned up, all will the minimal amount of fuss. I was around for two of the three days and was able to see the crew in action. Any questions I had they answered with assurance. Allen's post-fill instructions were spot on, and the pool looks amazing! After working with Allen, I would have no hesitation to recommend him to others.

The workers were highly professional, pleasant, and also answered questions I had. The work was done well and done according to the schedule we were given. Alan also provided us the information we need to care for the pool. The project was completed according to the estimate. The whole experience was stress free and pleasant, and we are very happy with how the pool looks.

 + -1 moreOverall, it went exceedingly well. I contacted Allan on a Monday and I explained my problem to him. He quoted me a price over the phone and requested to come by the next day to do the repair. I was unavilable the next day and we scheduled it for the day after. He called me in the morning and advised that he would be at my house withing the hour. He showed up promptly within an hour and I showed him the pool area. He immediately went to work on finding the leak. I left him alone for about a half hour and then went back outside. He advised that he thinks that he found the leak and he advised that he went ahead and sealed six tiles since it appeared to be at the bottom of the tile line. He then fixed the broken PVC pipe on the pool pump. He further advised me that if the pool continued to leak, to let him know and that he would be back to fix it. All told, the job took less than one hour. Overall, I fould Allen to be punctual, professional and all about getting the job done. I would hightly recommend this company if you have pool repairs that need to be done.
Description of Work: My pool has been leaking for a while. I needed to fix the PVC pipe exiting from the pump to the filter since it was leaking and I also needed the pool to be checked for leaks.

Description of Work: ALAN , WAS PROFESSIONAL AND FOLLOWED UP COMPLETELY. HE DID FULL REFININSHING OF MY POOL WITH DIAMOND BRITE AND FIXEDA LL CREACKS AND CHIPS AND NIGHTMARES WHICH HAD BEEN DONE BY PINCH A PENNY AND HIS STAFF WAS GREAT CLEAN AND CAREFUL. THEY HAD TO WORK AROUND A WATERFALL AND AFTER ALL WORK HE CAME BACK EXPLAINED ALL DETAILS AND TOLD ME ALL I NEED TO DO. I WOULD RECOMMEND HIM HIGHLY AS HE WAS INCREDIBLE AND ALWAYS ABLE TO REACH HIM FOR ANY QUESTIONS. I CANT PICTURE HIS WORK NOT BEING UP TO PAR. THE DIAMOND BRITE IS GUARANTEED FOR 10YEARS AND HIS WORK FOR 5 YEARS FROM PEELING ETC. HE REALLY WENT THE EXTRA MILE AND WE CERTAINLY FIND IT GREAT. THE POOL WAS 15 X 30.

Description of Work: Not very professional!!!... work was a D and not very well done from the pool finish to not maintaining equipment to rebar rusting in the NEW skimmer. ANd the attitude was really rude... Stay away and his pool guy was awful as well.

 + -1 moreAlan was very easy going and knowledgeble in pool repairs and service. He started on the day he promised, work was completed in less than 5 days.They resurfaced our pool with Diamond brite. Our pool is a 15x30 with a spa attached..they acid washed our tiles, removed and replace the tiles that go along the steps for an additional $150. They cut off the path of the copper pipe from the heater to the pool to prevent copper from entering the pool and causing the same problem to occur. They drained the pool slowly no mess or mud. They refilled the pool, gave us instructions for the next few weeks. We had our pool completed and ready for Memorial Weekend as promised. He accomodated our wishes, no mess, no nonsense, fair price, very responsive.
Description of Work: My husband and I have been pricing for a company to resurface our pool. We had been searching for over 6 months for a fair, honest, no nonsense estimate. Our pool is about 7-8 years old and the surface began to discolor. We contacted several pool companies and were given estimates from $2800 to $3900. They were ok but we had concerns they would continue to add on to the repairs since they all had opinions on the thickness, type of product they would use and it just seemed as if this was going to be a huge project. I called Alan from Alligator Pools and he was quick to return my call. Arrived when he said he would. Accomodated our request to have the project done before the memorial holiday. He explained in clear detail, to the point, no-nonsense way how the work would be done and when it would be completed. I didn't have to follow up with him. Alan was very professional and easy to speak to. My husband and I were very pleased with his work and would recommend his services. They resurfaced our pool, cut of the copper piping where the water was running through and creating proplems, fixed a leak in the pump area total price $2500.00. Completed the work in less than 5 days. Great Job Alan!!

 + -1 moreAlligator Pool services fixed my leaking pool. I tried a number of people who came out and said that it was fixed. Finally, Alligator Pool Services was able to fix it, they changed my pool and acid washed it. All the while, I was at work and when I came home it was already completed and was working. The pool was ready for swimming. He did not send me an invoice until I was ensured that the pool was fixed. But it was working well. This problem was not able to fix by any of the companies I contacted for the last three years. Our overall experience is good and we will use them again in the future.

 + -1 moreCouldn't be happier. The first day the pool was drained. He returned the second day to clean the pool including an acid wash, scrubbing, and making sure the pump and all lines were in order. The pool filling starred at the end of the day, and the third day he returned to rebalance the water and review all his work and suggest future options.
Description of Work: We bought a house with the pool in total disrepair. Alligator Pool drained, acid washed, neutralized and refilled and rebalanced the pool. as well as upgraded the pump bearings, flushed all the lines and explained the details of maintenance. The owner, Alan, was the one who personally supervised all the work and was in contact with me each day. He also educated me on pool finishes, and saved me money by not suggesting unnecessary work. He was terrific and I'll definitely use his company again in the future.
