They had given us an estimated start date in November sometime, but actually were able to start the re-roofing in late September. The roofers worked diligently each day, were obviously well organized and professional. We got daily progress reports were informed each day as to what they planned for the following day, and any questions we had were answered thoughtfully and completely. The workers cleaned up the site and hauled away the trash each day- even had someone who went around the yard with a magnetic device of some sort to pick up any stray roofing nails or caps! They gave us a 10 yr guarantee on this roof, which they made transferrable to one new owner since we told them of our plans to sell this house in the near future. And from all indications, it looks as though they did a good job- and I'd say they completed the job just in time to test the new roof with monsoonal rains and winds from a tropical system that hit south Florida a couple days after they finished. I'd highly recommend these folks to anyone looking to either repair and existing roof, or to put in a new roof.

Everything went extremely well, except that the company (which is a small operation) was short one person, their office administrator, when I called them, so they were delayed a few weeks before they could do our job. They gave me the best quote out of three (by more than $1,000) and also explained the job well. I was expecting to lose a dozen tiles during the repair, but the workmen managed to save all but four of our roof tiles that covered the leak. My only complaint: hearing Rush Limbaugh on the radio outside my office where they were working! Not everyone finds Rush Limbaugh pleasant listening.

We were extremely happy with the whole project. The company's owner and entire workforce were very professional and responsive. We were impressed with the quality of the work. We were kept well informed at each stage of the project as to what and when things would occur. The whole process went smoothly and we are very satisfied with the final product.

From the time their estimator came to my house until the last detail was completed, they were a pleasure to work with. I was so pleased with my new roof and the experience I had doing business with the owners and employees, that I contracted with A. Palmer to do all the painting and some minor renovation work on my house. They work neatly and the quality of their work is excellent. Everyone I came in contact with; from the roofers, roofing supervisors, painters, and carpenter to the owners; everyone understood and delivered the highest customer service. They always answered my questions to my complete satisfaction. They accommodated my requests promptly and efficiently. They scheduled work to my satisfaction and worked consistently through the job until it was completed. The owners were available by cellphone, email and in person. I cannot say enough about the caliber of this company's employees and quality of work. I highly recommend A. Palmer and will definitely contract with them again!!

They stayed in good communication with me. I had a problem with them, but they did make the problem okay. They did the extra work of painting, which wasn?t in the contract. They have good customer service. I knew someone who had used them before, and they were very satisfied with them too. Based on that, I chose them even though there were many other companies on Angie?s List. Their price wasn?t the cheapest.

What a great experience. I had gotten two other quotes (which were lower) for the repair work but the professionalism and response I received from Mr. Palmer led me to choose his bid. He did not try to sell me other products and/or repairs I really did not need. The work was done quickly and the workers that came out to the house to perform the work were courteous and respectful. Overall wonderful service!

I recently joined Angie's list because as a women being the head of household I was nervous on my first big home renovation. I called for a estimate and John came out and was nice, professional and honest. I I liked that the workers are their own employees not sub-contractors. The price was reasonable for the work required. They started and finished on schedule. I was updated each day on the work performed & my questions were answered in timely manner. They called for the inspections and handled the permit paperwork. The workers were professional and cleaned up each day. I would use them again and highly recommend them!

Called for a repair estimate. An estimator showed up the next day and gave us his price. We scheduled the work for the following week. The repair man showed up on time and preformed the preliminary work removing the roof tile. He left and came back the next day with matching tile and finished the work as promised.

We bid the project out to about 5 companies. We needed to completely replace our roof on our Surfside, FL home. They were not the cheapest and were not the most expensive either. They were however, from the first meeting, very honest and professional. They gave sound advice and never pushed us in any direction to save costs on their end. They photographed the process and gave us a warranty certificate. They CLEANED UP every day making it seem almost as if they weren't there at the end of every day. Their pricing was fair, they have been in business and long time and it showed. I have nothing bad to say about this vendor and I would use them again on other projects and recommend them to others. Again, I am sure you will find cheaper quotes but these guys did a fantastic job and I am thrilled that I chose them.

It went well. As noted above, I am happy with the repairs, the responsiveness and attitudes with all the staff at Palmer. I would certainly use them again.

I called the company out for an estimate on a Thursday. The promised to e-mail me the estimate by Thursday or Friday. I called them on Tuesday after not hearing back from them. They seem so disorganized. I had to repeat my name 5 times (I counted) to two different people on the phone. Before hanging up, (after I had given them my name 5 times) I left them my fax number for them to fax me the estimate and the guy asks me, "what's your name?" It's almost a comedy. At this point, I'd be crazy to let them work on my roof if they can't handle basic customer service.

Andrew Palmer came out and gave me the proposal, and finally after waiting three weeks, they gave me a start date. They arrived early morning and finished approx. 5:00pm the same day. They picked up all debris and trash, they did a great job. and I will recommend them to any of my friends and family.

Started with a very professional presentation. Pricing was relatively competitive. Throughtout the job, the area was kept clean. I didn't need to get a dumptster, they hauled the debris away daily in their vehicle. They did everything they said they would do. They were very competitive with other companies that provided similar quotes, all were licensed roofing contractors, not general contractors, all used their own employees, not subs. I know I paid a little more but the piece of mind, and quality of work was worth every extra penny.

Excellent, professional service all the way around. I was called if they couldn't show up on a particular day due to weather, etc. and they performed all aspects the job on a timely basis (including cleanup on a daily basis). I'd definitely recommend them to others and would use them again myself (although I'm hoping I won't have a need to).

They said they would do the work the week of the 20th and they showed up to do the work on the 20th. They did a professional job - they showed me the before and after pictures! I would definitely use them again. They were very professional when they came to give me the estimate and when they actually did the job. I highly recommend them.

We had to get roof work done very quickly because our roof was showing as a deficiency in an insurance inspection when we got bumped to Citizens. Palmer Roofing showed up promptly, and tactfully told us that the previous work that we had done ten years ago should really not just be repaired and that a complete re-roof was in order. I really suspected this was going to be the case. I brought up the idea of a metal roof, which I had researched and knew was much more expensive, but which looked to be a better investment. The guy from Palmer was not pushy at all, but talked through the pro's and con's and gave us three alternative quotes to work with. We went with the metal roof, per their recommendation. We were handed over to the project manager, Jose Faria, who is an absolute magician and a very pleasant guy to work with. He was on site at least once each day, and worked with us on the decisions that needed to be made, and had outstanding suggestions. The carpenter who worked on the wood was a real professional as well, and did some beautiful work. Jose would give us a break on prices when extra expenses came up. For example, when the roofers knocked the satellite dish out of line (which would have been almost impossible not to do) they gave us a credit for the amount we had to pay for DirecTV to come out and fix it. The bottom line with A Palmer is that they charged a fair prices, but did everything the right way, even if it was a little more difficult. That's the way I like to do my work, and I was delighted to find someone who I could trust to do the same.

They were very professional and I felt the price was competitive. I was very happy with the service I recieved. The roof looks amazing, you can tell they employ skilled workers. I was always kept informed about any little detail. The workers did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. I like that they have their own dump trucks which they take away everyday so you never have a dumpster in front of your property overnight. They even patched up some pre-existing holes in the stucco underneath the roof. I will definitely use them again in the future.

Had a good experience. The crew came to the house the day before to look over the work to be done. The next morning they arrived and completed the work. They explained the work to be done and how long it would take and what to expect. They were professional and clean up once the job was completed on time.

We are very happy with the work performed by A. Palmer Roofing. Once contracted, they started the work promptly, the projected time table was adhered too, they sent several workers at one time to do the job and the quality of the work was excellent. The crew was friendly, they cleaned up every day prior to leaving and took care not to splatter paint on surfaces not included in the scope of work. I recommend this company and look forward to engaging their services again the new year, for other planned renovation projects. The project manager, Mr. Jose Faria, could always be reached by phone and/or came to our house within one of hour of asking him to do so.

Project was somewhat delayed only due to uncooperative rainy season weather. Once the weather cooperated the repair was more than satisfactorily completed. I would recommend A. Palmer to others and would use them again myself.

The first estimate included a warranty of less than a year. I spoke to them and mentioned that other companies were giving seven years, which they agreed to. The rest of the job was done in a timely manner, professionalism was evident, and I have been very satisfied.

They were very quick and clean. The employees were all very considerate. They were not cheap, but they did a very good job. I have not had any problems since they came out. They were able to provide me with some very good service.

I was very satisfied with their services. They were rather responsive to my call when I first tried to get a hold of them. I felt like they performed a thorough preliminary inspection. They gave me a clear and concise written proposal. They finished the work in the time that they said they would. I had a complaint after they were done with the work and I found them to be responsive with that as well. I appreciate that they stuck right to the original estimate that they gave me.
