Before starting my job I did as much research as possible. I received quotes from about 6-7 reputable companies and looked into personal references with each. After speaking with Andy, my choice to go with Palmer Roofing was pretty simple. Here are the two main reasons I chose to go with them. 1. Very Fair on price and other services. Please keep in mind that a lot of other roofers may offer a lower estimate initially and then charge significantly more for other services.(decking, fascia replacement, etc.) Andy was very open and beyond fair with his initial quote and the cost of other services. 2. If you have the opportunity to speak to Rafael, Andy, or Jose you'll notice that this company is ran by a group of skilled, knowledgeable, honest, and just real nice guys. I litterally had a handful of meetings with Andy before my quote. He was really great with that. He was very patient, explained my options as far as cost, difference in materials, possible issues with my roof, etc. He always made time to address my concerns, even before talking price. Seeing how much he was willing to go out of his way to meet with me, repeatedly answer my questions and address concerns was one of the main reasons I chose this company. This is by far the most organized company I've ever worked with. I was having some other work done on my house and had to schedule our start and end date. I was really impressed to see that the day they promised to start they were there at 8:00am already working. The project got started on time and every day the crew was there bright and early working diligently. They were very respectful of my home, extremely clean with the tear down, and a pleasure to have around. I had daily calls with either Andy or Jose with updates on the progress. They kept a close eye on the entire project and paid great attention to the smallest of details. Any additional expense as far as decking, fascia, custom work etc. was discussed with me. They always documented with photos when the removed rotted wood or fascia and kept an honest and accurate count with additional materials. This is the area that I just have a ton of respect for these guys. They only replaced what needed to be replaced, they kept accurate documentation of additional expenses, never tried to up sell me or push any unnecessary expense. This is one company you truly do not have to worry about hidden expenses with. And anything that is recommended is because it needs to be done. Also just to add to the fact that its a great group of guys, the work was great quality. My roof has some funky areas, and they took great care with every inch of that roof. Overall Im completely happy with the entire roof. I received exceptional work for the price I paid and would highly recommend Palmer roofing.

Lousy service After waiting one week for an estimate, estimator... Rafael calls to confirm appointment, we told him we r home waiting, he is eventually processed through the community security gate at 1pm... It takes 3 minutes to get to my home from the gate... Almost 2 hours later Rafael does not pick up his phone to see where he is at... No where to be found... While taking time away from work and family... I call the main company phone number no one picks up... I send a txt via Angie's list to my original request... Magically Rafael calls me back giving me a BS story that the line was to long to get into my community (yet he had already been let in!) and that he is on his way to another job... And tells me I will be rescheduled for some unknown time in the future... Terrible service... If you want your valuable time wasted call these guys... They won't let you down I Do not recommend this service to anyone- JD

I give them a good review. They completed the job within the time they said and he was very good. They were honest. I wish the price was always cheaper but they weren’t the cheapest and they weren’t the most expensive either??????. I was just never happy with roofers but I am happy with them. I have referred them to other people and I have had people say they didn’t use them because they were cheapest and I don’t go to the cheapest but I go to people who have the best reputation. A year later I called them back after a little leak in the porch and they came back and they sent the whole crew and they were very good.

I called to have a roof vent repair and they send someone the same day. The person who came was very kind and professional. He took care of the work really fast and even took pictures of the before and after of the roof vent so I could see it was taken care of. They sent me the pics together with the invoice the next day. In few words, very professional, quick and very good price. Will definitely use them again and also recommend them to our friends.

They answered all my questions and made themselves available whenever needed them. They were very polite.

Overall: I can't say enough good things about this company and the service they provided. The estimate was detailed and on time. I was given a certain amount of replaced wood which was well within what replaced (one of the hidden costs that roofers can 'get' you on) and the work was started and completed during the timeframe I was told. I was given daily (or every other day) updates with pictures and was also told when the crew would not be onsite. Price: Were they the cheapest bid? No, they were more expensive than some others but I feel I got good value in that the estimate price was met with no hidden costs. The work was of high quality and done with speed. Typically you don't get quality, quick and the cheapest estimate. Quality: Excellent. I did my research before and found what to watch out for from roofer estimates. A. Palmer was very upfront on options we could take as well as recommendations. These were all in line with what a company based on quality (and not just winning the work by cutting corners) should do for their customers. Responsiveness: Timely updates, quick email responses and no problem reaching people at the office. There was one issue with a final permit at the end which A. Palmer addressed quickly and got to resolution without added costs. Punctuality: Always on time to site meetings and I was told beforehand when workers could not be their due to scheduling or weather (neither where frequent). One of the best experiences I've had with a service provider. Professionalism

Took some time to send the estimate, but once they did it was very detailed. They explained the work and the reason for such repair.

Job completed on schedule and within budget.

A Palmer Roofing was very punctual and professional. They explained the work to be done and sent us an estimate very quickly (Theirs was the first one we got). The price looked very fair for the amount of work to be done. It is just too bad that they could not start work for 7 to 8 weeks. I guess good roofers are in high demand.

About 9 years ago, we needed a re-roof. After many estimates with local companies, my husband felt most comfortable with A. Palmer. They did a fantastic job for a competitive price. Our roof has held up even through Katrina and Wilma. When we needed a repair recently which required scheduling and coordinating with our electrician, we called them up and had no problem. They came out on the day that our electrician and FPL were here and once again they did a great job. We will definitely use them the next time we need a re-roof or any other repair.

Very professional with estimate.

They gave me a quote and the quote includes carrying out the previous roof, cleaning and other roof service. Everything was additional costs so it didn't give me a sense on how much the job was actually gonna be so we didn't use their service. When they came out they were very nice, very personable and very professional. They came out when they said they would came.

They did an excellent job. They cleaned up all old roofing debris and left the surrounding areas clean every day. Their pricing was very competitive with the other estimates we received. They arrived promptly. They were courteous and in every way professional. We would highly recommend A. Palmer Roofing to anyone looking for a repair or a new roof. Previously, they had done three repairs for us and we were very pleased with their work.

I moved into a new home that came complete with a leaky skylight. I emailed A Palmer Roofing via angies list and they contacted me right away. The next day I had someone on my roof for the initial inspection and estimate. A week later two of their repairmen were on site and quickly up on the roof resealing the skylight. About an hour later, they were done and that was that. I received a bill as expected and couldn't be happier with the results. No more leak!

Excellent!! Spoke to Jon Palmer he explained the process in detail. All I am wating for now is an estimate to be able to make a decision on the company that will be doing our home roof. I will recomend this company and looking forward to doing business with them. Sandra Tavares

They did a great job and cleaned up everything after install. I live out of town and customer Service also did a great job e-mailing me all the paper work to sign and keeping me informed on when job would take place. Also sending pictures of finished job.

This is my second time using Angie's list and my experience in both cases has been bad.

Jon Palmer came out more promptly than anyone could expect in Miami's rainy season and gave me a fair estimate. When we had enough dry days for him to finish his existing bookings, his repair crew came out and made the repairs. Although the estimate had some "looseness" to allow for hidden damage, the final bill was for LESS than the estimate. Yes, Mr. and Mrs. North America (OK, so I'm dating myself), I said LESS. Oh, and by the way, they cleaned up after themselves.

i had a vent that was leaking and several tiles that were broken on loose. the did much more than i was expecting. it was i real pleasure dealing with this company

Great roofer. Does quality work. They did a new roof on the first house I ever owned. I have used them several times on my second owned house and they do good work and are honest.

From beginning to end Andrew Palmer roofing was nothing short of exceptional. The crew that came to remove the old roof was professional and pleasant. They kept me informed about how things were going and informed me of termite and rot problems they found. The new shingles were expertly and quickly installed. The price was as I expected and Jon Palmer was responsive to all questions and concerns I had. All in all, a great job. Thank you.

Initial contacts were excellent and on time. Once contract was signed it took a couple of weeks longer than expected to launch the project. Once the project started it went very quickly and as expected.. Very professional company.

It was pretty uneventful. Initially the brought the wrong tiles, but did not installed. The procured the correct tiles and the job went smoothly. I am satisfied with the quality of the job performed, a very professional crew.
