The project took a little longer to get done than we anticipated, but the builders were excellent and even took the time to recommend how we finish off the room with Drywall etc.... The Sunroom metal system these guys use is spectacular, there is not one visible screw on the entire structure, it looks smooth smooth and strong, just what we were hoping for. We chose to go with Impact Glass, so we didn't have to shutter the room if a storm came and the glass is amazing, watching the guys install it, i felt bad for them as it is clearly heavy as can be. That being said, the finish product is spectacular, we couldn't be more happy with the room and our experience.

Their designer who came out to layout the room was wonderful (Joe), he drew us a sketch of what the room would look like when done, we loved the design and went ahead with the project. The permit took a while to get approved, which was worrying but the staff at Venetian Builders kept us up to date the entire time, which made the waiting better. Once the guys showed up to build the room, it flew together, took 4 days total and look wonderful. These guys are the best don't hesitate to build with them.

I hired their service for a sunroom and a small metal roof. Seller is cordial, polite, serious. The rest of the company is not. We work on the price which they were flexible. This was November. They thought it would be fair to assume that March would be the latest date to finish this project an I agreed. By the end of January or so, I received the news that the roof was not going to be permitted under my town regulations. I was disappointed, but they offered to do the sunroom. They needed it to start from the beginning again. So I agreed. In may, tired of calling and sending e-mails with no answers I went to town only to learned that they had the permit almost two months ago. Called them really upset and the following day I had the installer in my house. But now they want another two more months before finishing. They have told me that the glass only takes three weeks. Their subcontractor who was doing this installation told me that he can have the frames installed in three days. I asked for 45 days top. They cancel the project because I could not accept the two extra months time frame. After they are done with the glass enclosure I need to modify my kitchen, which also takes time. Since I have already waited for them half a year for a 3 month project I just wanted a better follow up this time Their own sales representative thought that my project was more than done. So, are they good? I don't know. Do they work with good materials? I don't know. But I know they don't behave professionally, and never mind they are so quick to blame all on you or any one else. All we have in this business is our word. Abusing a faithful and patient customer brings you bad reviews.

The person that they sent out was fantastic he did a wonderful job. I wanted more services done but I never heard back so I never contacted them again.

Communications could have been better, but I do not doubt that they tried their hardest to wade through the mess that is the miami-dade permitting department.

I thought they were amongst the most professional looking of all companies that came out. I did not hire them because I had already made a commitment to another provider. They would have gotten my business if they had come out sooner. They were booked for a full week before coming out to my house. Within the week I got 3 other estimates and contracted another group just a few hours before . I actually had forgotten about the appointment with Venetian Builders since I had not spoken with them for a week. They did show up when they said they would and were competitive with their bid.

Just had a sunroom built by Venetian Builders. I found them on Angies List and liked their reviews so we gave them a call. I spoke with a young lady on the phone who scheduled an estimate appointment for me, they even accommodated my work schedule and set the appointment for a Saturday. Brian was the next person I spoke to, he called when he was on his way to our home Saturday morning. He arrived, asked what we were looking to build, apparently he listened carefully as his sketch of the room was exactly what we were looking for. We thought about it for a week and although we had received a bid for around 3,000 less from another company, decided to go with Venetian as we thought their version of the room was the most attractive. Brian was scheduled to come back out to fill out all of the paperwork, and there was a bunch of paperwork indeed, but he was very efficient and explained the process carefully and was patient with the 500 questions we had along the way. After all of the paperwork was completed, we heard from their general manager (Michelle) who let us know the permit had been submitted and they were waiting on an approval. Another 4 weeks passed and the city has signed off so they called to schedule the project to begin. Michelle gave us a call to let us know that Robert had been assigned to build our sunroom as he is their specialist in glass enclosures and needed to set a time to meet with us and review the project before they fabricated the room. Robert scheduled with us again on a Saturday, arrived and reviewed the contract and permit information and spent around 3 hours taking measurements and leveling things, then let us know he was going to build the walls of the room in the factory, then return when he had them assembled and ready to install. We waited for a week and Rob called to set an appointment to begin his installation. Once these guys arrived to begin work, they really moved. The walls were mostly built when they arrived at our home, Rob and his helper had the framing of the room done in 3 days, then had the roof up on day 5, they worked in a relatively clean manner and were both very polite and easy to deal with, even with some questions thrown in here and there. Once the room was standing, Rob let us know they needed to order the glass and that would take 3 weeks to arrive. He said he would call once the glass was in their factory to schedule a date to come and finish our new room. The glass arrived 2 weeks later, Rob called, we let him know he could start anytime and he had the glass installed before the weekend and final building department inspection scheduled and passed the following week. Although we could have asked for a little more communication over the length of the project, we felt the Venetian staff were very competent and happy to be working for us. The room is great and we couldn't find anything to complain about when it comes to quality as our finished sunroom is beautiful. I would definitely recommend Venetian to anyone that asks as we thought this process was really going to be painful but it turned out to be a piece of cake. Nice work guys.

These guys are very serious about Sunrooms. I was debating moving into a larger home as my wife and I are expecting a new baby girl. After considering all of our options, we decided to look into building an addition instead. We got as far as looking to hire an architect but after considering all of the costs involved, along with how long it would take, we took another direction and found Venetian to estimate a sunroom. We met with the owner, Chris, who did a great job of designing a room that suited all of our space requirements. Although the Impact Glass options are not cheap, we decided to go that way as it didn’t require shutters and my wife felt better about having the room protected. The sunroom option worked out to be just a little less expensive than a standard type of addition but with the nice design and glass walls, we actually preferred the look of the sunroom over a brick addition. The design was approved by my wife and I and we signed the contract with Chris. He was very upfront about the length of time things would take and what to expect when the workers were here building and he was not far off overall. The project took 4 months start to finish, we handled all of the interior finishes; tile, drywall, etc… and had the room ready by month 5. After living with it for a month, I can say that we both love this addition. The team at Venetian did a good job all the way, our builder, Peter is an artist and had every detail of our room looked after from day 1 that he was here at our home. The permit and foundation took a little too long but other than that, everything was right on schedule as far as what we had been told. There was a bit of a mess while they were working but nothing that I would consider unreasonable, especially considering that Chris had warned us about any potential messes etc.. prior to starting work. I highly recommend Venetian Builders, they are a good group of people and I was happy with the final product 100%.

Venetian Builders Repaired All Of My Screenroom With Graet Respect And Professsionalisa I Don't Think No Other Company In South Florida Works And Builds Like They Do. I Will Continue To Work With Them On Future Home Projects.

I signed a contract with Venetian Builders late February in which I based my decision by the companies great professionalism. Brian my sales rep was very nice and helpful. About a week after our meeting I was contacted by Luisa and Michelle in the office updating me on permitting process. Which turned to be lengthy process but I was warned that could happen from the beginning by Brian, I just hoped I would be an exception to that rule. Aside from that once the permit was approved the builders were out at my home less than a week later to start work which was fantastic. The work was performed in a timely fashion, they left tools and material on my patio after their work day but that was understandable since they were working there 4 straight days. On the last day they picked up every single piece of trash and tools left my yard back to normal. All inspections passed except the first one because I took the permit inside which was entirely my fault for some random reason of mine I thought it did not need to be out there. Once the project was completed Michelle stopped by few days later to review the project make sure everything is according to their company standards and to my satisfaction. Overall, I am content with the decision I made of choosing Venetian Builders to build my patio enclosure that I can now enjoy with my family.

They were on time, called me when the estimator was on his way to the site. The rep who came gave me a lot of confidence because he explained everything in detail with pictures and brochures, it was very complete. The estimate they gave me over the phone changed during the visit because there are many details that you can only see once the rep is on site. Price wise, they are not the cheapest but certainly, they are the very good in quality and service, it's worth the price.

Our screen enclosure was relatively simple. We needed four screen walls, one of which would include a double door. We were not enclosing our entire back yard or pool area. Our patio has columns around the perimeter and a roof. Brian was professional when he came to my home to provide an estimate. They were not the least expensive but they matched the least expensive estimate we received so we hired them. The project manager was Nick. He told me the job would be done in approximately 10 days start to finish and he guaranteed we would like the results. He said he would come by and meet with me to discuss the details of the job and make sure we are on the same page. He never came. Instead he started the job and sent a mason to take up my pavers to install the concrete footing. This person had to come back FOUR times for various reasons - he didn't have the materials he needed to complete his part of the job on any given day. One day we caught him drinking a BEER on the patio while he was working. That day he completely ruined the pavers and delayed the job because Venetian had to send someone else to fix his mistake. We were told he was fired. We informed Nick that the pavers weren't reinstalled correctly and this mason spilled concrete all over our patio, freshly painted house and new outdoor furniture. He finally came to the house to meet us. Instead of having the pavers fixed first he gave the green light for the screen installer to come and put up the screens and doors. Alex was prompt, professional and did impeccable work. He was here after dark and on the weekend to finish his part of the job. Once he was done installing the screens, we still had to wait for a new mason to come and fix the pavers. When the next mason came to see the job, he informed us that a whole section of our patio would have to be replaced and he would try to find the pavers as they were discontinued. Nick said we may be able to avoid replacing pavers by pressure washing the existing pavers. One of the screen walls had to be uninstalled in order to fix the pavers. When the new screen installers came, because the last person we had left the company, they asked me what they had to do. I, as the customer, should NOT have to manage the workers. They had no pressure washer and were told they didn't need one. I found out later that Nick had decided without consulting us to just replace the pavers that had concrete splatters. The new mason and screen workers replaced the pavers and the screens. I was told the final inspection would take place on a Monday. Nobody showed. I called the town on Tuesday and asked if my house was on the schedule to be inspected. They said I was on the schedule for Wednesday. I called Nick to ask him when he had the final inspection scheduled and he told me Tuesday. When I informed him that I called the town myself he cut me off and told me in a very condescending manner that "you don't know what you're asking for when you call the town." He also told me that he wasn't talking about the final inspection, but the grounding inspection. My text messages from him prove otherwise. I yelled at him because I was so frustrated with being constantly interrupted and pushed off by him. We hired Venetian on April 8, the job was supposed to start before Memorial Day and we were already well into July, so I was not in the mood to hear any more excuses about why we were delayed. We then called the owner of the company, Chris, and told him about what was going on and how we were being treated. He told us the company was in a state of transition and that Nick was overwhelmed with work. He took over the job from there, even though it was basically done. A few days after we spoke to Chris, we had a downpour and our patio flooded. The patio never flooded before. He offered to put in a french drain. We were under the impression that the drain would extend to the end of our yard. He then told us it would be an extra charge to extend the drain. He suggested we install gutters on our house and he would pay for half. We decided against both and asked him to renegotiate the final price since we were not happy with the lack of professionalism, the fact that the original mason was drinking on the job and the amount of time the job took. During negotiation, Chris and my husband were using text messaging. Chris called my husband "Bud" and said he didn't want to get into a "pi**ing contest." He threatened to put a lien on our house as well. We finally came to an agreement and sent the check within 2 weeks of receiving the final invoice. I have never seen a business run this way. My husband and I were very patient until the end when I was told that I don't know what I'm asking for when I call the town to find out when someone is coming to my house to inspect a job that should have been completed months earlier. We now have to literally clean up their mess by touching up the paint on our house and scraping the concrete off of our new outdoor furniture. I will not be recommending Venetian to anyone in my neighborhood.

The company provided all weather resistant material product. The extended porch cover is insulated, hurricane rated with rain gutters attached as part of the overhang. The pergolas are also weather resistant materials which is a first for south Florida, residential installation. The company is the first to install the weather resistant pergolas and the finished product is fantastic. There was a small delay on the install due to the company beginning to use a new supplier, but the wait was worth it. The installer was very professional and showed great concern from beginning to end. I highly recommend this company.

Brian gave me an estimate and then took me to see another job that he had just completed and I was pleased with the work. I was ready to hire him until I received two additional estimates. Subsequently I found this company's prices to be too high and decided to use someone else. However, if the price had been better I would have definitely used Venetian Builders.

This company was very professional. The salesman Brian Cespedes arrive timely. However, he either failed to notice a setback issue with the location of the work to be performed or he did notice and did not want to say anything in order to not lose the job. Either way, due to the setback requirements, this job would never have passed inspection. Also, I obtained multiple estimates on this job and this company was by far the most expensive. Most estimates were in the $10 a square foot range and this company was over $20. Way overpriced for the area. Overall, this is a very professional company but they are also extremely expensive.
