Kevin was very professional. He did the kitchen ceiling and I am so happy with the everything he did. I love my new kitchen ceiling. It makes the kitchen seem larger and after he was done he cleaned the areas. I would recommend him with my co-workers and he would definitely be the handyman that I would use for future work around the apartment and future house.

Kevin was very professional, punctual and pleasant to deal with. The gate repair in particular was not as simple as it might sound, but Kevin came up with a creative and successful solution for the problem. I intend to use Kevin for future projects.

I had originally set an appointment for Kevin to come and see the job and to discuss cost of project. He was punctual and Kevin came out as agreed, and gave me a price. Kevin installed 4 Disability Grab Bars and did an excellent job for a very Reasonable and Fair price. He was honest, easy to work with, punctual and very professional! He did a great job and I especially liked the fact that he was very neat and cleaned up after himself. Thanks Kevin!!

Called around 1:30 and job was done by 3:30. Maybe I just got lucky with availability but he was true and honest to his words. No gray area in the promises. I like that!! He showed up in one of my rental apts and fixed the problem. Quick, easy, fast. Like a next door neighbor handyman. Kevin is my guy. Will call him from now on for all my fixing needs. He encountered a few issues in the process but resolved problems quickly and pragmatically. Faucets and filter function well, no leaks (he stayed a while to ensure there would not be any) and everything was cleaned up well. Kevin is a pleasant person to work with both in terms of his professionalism and his personality. I will ask him to do a few more jobs. He obviously enjoys what he is doing which is why the quality of his work is good.

It went great. No mess, no leaks, everything looks beautiful. He left no mess at all. He is a real professional. I am thrilled with his work and would not hesitate to use him again for anything at all I need doing. In fact I look forward to doing so! He called to check all was well later and of course it was. I am delighted with his work and cannot believe how lucky I am to have found someone I trust so close to where I live!

Kevin Mallay has done a number of repairs on my house in the last few years. In this case, I have an original (30+ years) aluminum awning over a floor to ceiling window. The soffet above the awning was leaking, and the awning itself does not cover the whole height of the window. Standard sizes of new awnings are no better. Kevin discovered the soffet had only a small section of rot. He repaired that section without dismounting the awning and cut off one edge of the awning so that it would no longer drain on an adjacent wall and cause stains. Kevin saved the cost of a new awning that would have been no better than the current one, and solved two chronic problems, a leak and a stain caused by drainage. I could have spent a lot more money on a new awning or shutter, while probably having to replace a lot more material in the soffet, and the results would have been no better.

Kevin disassembled two sets of cruddy old shower fixtures without breaking any tile, purchased new stems and covers and installed them. The cost of service above includes the hardware (~$200). Kevin also replaced two outdoor faucets. This included chipping out and restoring the plaster in which one faucet is embedded. On a previous job, Kevin had installed a new vanity with a granite top. The granite had begun to show signs of staining and Kevin applied two coats of a sealant. We are in the early stages of preparing to put the house on the market, and so the cosmetic details are important. Kevin is very good at providing a clean and polished result.

This was the second time Kevin had done work for us, and we are impressed by his orderliness and speed. He is methodical and does not create a mess even in the midst of taking apart a vanity or an old bed frame. We have more projects and we will call on Kevin for the work.
