Absolutely fantastic. I am making the final payment today, my son is moved into his new room, the new bathroom tile looks fantastic and everything works. I am a very happy customer who is now looking for more projects to do with Todd's crew. The crew was great, the sub-contracted tile and A/C work was done by reputable contractors who share the same professionalism and work ethic. Todd stayed engaged throughout. The team was great with our sons, cleaned up after themselves each day, and made the project reliable and pleasant. I recommend them completely, and will work with them again.

We had Todd Thomas install cabinets in our rental property that had been damaged by a plumbing leak. We wanted to get plywood construction cabinetry at the best price. Todd came in at a bid that was lower than any other estimates. Todd was very professional while working with us and his sub-contractor- American Cabinet- custom built sturdy, good quality cabinets that were suitable for our rental. All the work was done in a timely manner and we were able to work around some unexpected repair work without any issues. I would definitely use them again.

From going through the quote to shaking hands after the job was done Todd Thomas Home Improvements was extremely helpful and professional. My bathroom turned out beautiful and since this experience was so good with Todd I am now contracting him to replace my windows. I would highly recommend his services to anyone needing a contractor.

Initially contacted 3 contractors for the big job. 1 showed up to take all measurements and info, but never followed up - their loss. The other two showed up when scheduled (Todd Thomas & Tony Ray) and spent the necessary time with us to listen to our plan for the remodel. Both were extremely nice and knowledgeable. It was a very difficult and agonizing decision choosing for a job of this extensive scope, and although Tony Ray's estimate was a few thousand dollars lower (as he provided for certain item allowances in his estimate, whereas Todd Thomas did not), we finally elected to go with Todd Thomas mainly because he took the time to ask more questions, offer suggestions and seemed genuinely concerned about fully meeting and addressing our vision of what we eventually wanted. Both contractors were very specific on their desire to accomplish the job in a very clean and efficient manner, which is a big thing in a extensive job with so many workers involved. Although I'm sure that Tony Ray would've done an excellent job too (and possibly less expensive), for some reason we felt more comfortable with Todd Thomas - which turned out to be an excellent choice. Todd and his Demo Crew arrived on time and accomplished the complete demo in 2 days and were indeed very clean, as promised. They took the time to lay down many cloths and seal off the Bath from the rest of the Master Suite. As the job progressed, Todd, his workers or his sub-contractors always showed up as promised and on time (a real plus!). Todd was always accessible and always addressed every call, email or text (rare, these days). Of course, nothing of this scale ever goes without unforeseen problems and issues, however, Todd was always there to address every single one of them, offer suggestions and always made it clear to us that he would accomplish everything to our complete satisfaction regardless of the issue - and he did! The travertine marble tile work (tile/cost of our choosing) turned out to be the biggest bulk of the work and turned out unbelievable, in fact, worthy of a TV remodeling show without a doubt. Gary, the tile man, and his worker truly created a masterpiece. Because of our choices in the "best of the best", there were many costs overruns in many areas and without the allowances (as in Tony Ray's estimate), the total cost of the project (labor, cabinetry, fixtures, lighting, etc) ended being closer to $40,000. But, I can promise you it is a one-of-a-kind result that is amazing. We are proud of it, as I'm sure that Todd Thomas and his crew is too. Truly, we look forward now to having to utilize the Bath, as we stand there in awe looking at the finished project. Todd Thomas is a man of character, honesty and integrity. What else can you ask for? I'm glad we chose him - he and his crew did exactly what we asked and in a clean and efficient manner. Yes, it ended up being more expensive than we originally envisioned, but doesn't everything these days? We wanted the best, and we got it - both in Todd Thomas and our resulting Master Bath. If you choose to use Todd Thomas Home Improvements, you will not be disappointed, I promise it.

Focused on making sure we got the renovation details we were after. Promptly advised us of all construction issues and justified change order costs when conditions causing problems impacted his cost of accomplishing work in a manner that could not have been foreseen when preparing his bid estimate. Worked well with an independent decorator provided by the owner. Constructed a schedule of key renovation milestones (such as demolition, drywall installation, etc.) and met with the owner regularly to discuss progress versus plan. Knowledgeable and friendly construction crew that cleaned area each night before leaving.

An appointment was scheduled with Todd to come to my house to provide an estimate to renovate a bathroom. I left work early to meet him and he never showed up; nor did he call me to reschedule or cancel. Needless to say, I won't bother contacting Todd Thomas Home Improvement for any future work I may need. Update: Mr. Thomas contacted me two days later to state that he made an error in not getting the appointment correctly entered into his calendar. He apologized for missing the appointment.

Todd and his team were AWESOME! They all showed up when they said they would, did excellent work, were polite, took great care to keep the work area clean and cleaned up everything when they were done. I never had to contact Todd, he always took the initiative to contact me. The block was done one day, the stucco was several days later and the paint was later still, but no ball was ever dropped and the lines of communication were excellent! Everything that we discussed, was done exactly as we had discussed. A+ in workmanship, reliability and communication. I really appreciate Todd and I will be contacting him for quotes and work in the future!

Our initial impressions of Todd were: he was punctual, presented himself well, very knowledgeable and experienced, confident of his capabilities, honest to a fault, put us at ease, excellent customer interface, the kind of person you could give the house key and go away, his experience enabled him to make suggestions and solve problems, enthusiastic, likes a challenge, a very settling calm personality, in short, the ideal Contractor! Todd and his subs performance reinforced our initial impressions. He has the most incredible selection of subcontractors at his fingertips: cabinet makers/refinishers, interior decorators/designers, electricians, plumbers, HVAC, sliding glass door repairmen, metal fabricators, tile installers, and many more. He is capable of taking on any problem, no job is too small. Todd was always available to communicate progress, schedule, and changes as the projects advanced. Todd is a quality man, his work oozes quality, he will only perform work the right way, he is able to manage turnkey projects in the most professional manner. Would my wife and I select Todd for future projects, would we recommend him to others? Absolutely yes without hesitation! By the way, he transformed our kitchen and master bathroom beyond our expectations, HGTV ready!

I received the estimate for the drywall patch within just about an hour and an estimate for the block work in about a day and a half. This morning (only a day and a half after Todd came to estimate), Frank showed up to fix the drywall. Frank was kind and a pleasure to talk with. He didn't mind me watching and asking questions. Frank did an excellent job keeping the mess contained on drop clothes and the patch looks excellent. I would recommend Todd and crew again! I think his estimates are on point and he listens to what is needed.

I contacted Todd August 2014 for a stair railing remodel. The kitchen was on our list, but not first. We decided to change it up and go forward with the kitchen with Todd. The end result is a beautiful kitchen that is everything we wanted and more. Todd and his people were very willing to work with us in every way. My husband and I like to be involved in all aspects of work in our home and enjoy doing the work too. Todd was more then willing to work with us to allow us to have the part we wanted in making our kitchen come together. With any job there are going to be unforeseen issues, it is how a GC handles them that makes the difference. Todd went above and beyond to make sure things ran smoothly, on time and that most importantly, we were happy. I did find that if you want a quicker response that a phone call is necessary as opposed to email. I did give a slightly lower mark for punctuality because there was one set of workers who were consistently late, BUT I never brought it to Todd's attention because at the time it was not a huge deal to me. If you have a more strict schedule then you may want make sure everyone is aware of it. The work was done on time, on budget and we would recommend Todd and use him again.

Mr. Thomas and his team did a wonderful job. The job was done in a timely and professional manner. He was helpful in his suggestions and choice of materials. As an extra added bonus for us neat freaks, the job site was kept clean and orderly. Thank you, the bathroom looks great!

Todd and his subcontractors (e.g., electrical, cabinets, painting) performed very well. I liked that he acquired expertise for work that he wasn't as comfortable performing himself, but that may have increased the cost too. Overall the quality was good.

We purchased a Condo built in 1980 that needed updating. After looking on Angie's List and interviewing a few different contractors we decided Todd would be the one for us. He was professional, personable, pleasant and listened to what we hoped to achieve. We felt comfortable with him and knew he would give us the best outcome. Since we decided to do a total remodel, we were told it would take 6-8 weeks. Todd and his outstanding team delivered on that timeline. Not only did we get into our condo on time, the outcome exceded our expectations and was the easiest renovation we'd gone through. At the end of the project it was sad to say goodbye to everyone, but even more so for Todd. We felt like he was part of our family and will miss him. I will definitely recommend that you call Todd for any of your remodel needs. And once you meet him, you will understand why we chose him. He is a very honest, trustworthy and all around nice guy. And his talent and craftsmanship will show in the end.

Went very well. Very good job. He stood behind his work. We called him with some minor problem and he came the next day and fixed it to our satisfaction. Sometimes he is not prompt in returning your phone calls and that is the only reason he did not get an A for responsiveness. The work was done in our second home in Florida and we live in CT. He took very good care of the house during the work. The house was left immaculate at the end of the job!!

Todd was a little slow getting back to me with an estimate but once he realized his mistake got right back to me with an estimate.broke each job estimate down and then followed up to see if I had any questions

Todd and his team did an EXCELLENT JOB! We could not be happier with the result. I interviewed several contractors before making a selection. I went with Todd Thomas Home Improvements because I was confident Todd would be personnally involved with the remodel project and that he would ensure the work was completed according to code and to our complete satisfaction. Todd did exactly that! Todd uses licenced plumbers and electricians for detailed plumbing and electrical work. For our remodel, we needed to move plumbing and electrical, so this was very important. Many other contractors do not use licensed professionals for this type of work. Gary, Todd's tile guy, was very skillful and took extra care to ensure the detailed tile work was exceptional. Todd and his team was also very helpful in the design process. We had an idea of what we wanted, but Todd and is team of professionals helped us turn the idea into an executable design that was practical, elegant, and affordable. I will definately use Todd's Home Improvement service again, and I highly recommend him to others.

Todd has been doing jobs for us for a couple of years and we could not be happier. The pergola project started because we had wooden beams that came out in front of our house and had Bougainville growing on it. Even though it was pretty it started to erode the wood so we needed to replace it. Todd came up with a drawing of our pergola. It was better than we had expected. We would recommend Todd to anyone. He is a well-rounded "handyman" who has recently gotten his general contactor's license. He is very talented, very professional and a really nice person.

Project was done while we were gone. We went thru all the details before starting and then left. Project was completed as planned and on budget. We are very satisfied with the final product. The time frame for the project was flexible and Todd availed himself of it which was fine with us. The subcontractors and suppliers were all top notch, professional and were in the price range we wanted.

I needed two rooms tiled right away and Todd's tile installer and assistant were able to start the following Monday. They arrived on time, worked hard, did an excellent job. They kept down the dust tearing out the old tile, cleaned up each day before they left, and were very pleasant to work with.

This was our first experience working with Todd and it won't be our last. In a few words I will describe him as: -Professional -Punctual -Courteous -Attentive -Friendly Todd recently redid our master bathroom from the ground up. We scheduled a consultation with him and explained our vision for the room. We had a good sketch of what we wanted but were flexible on some things. What was nice is Todd has done these projects before and he will offer his thoughts on a particular design if he sees something that may not function they way YOU think it will. For instance, we had a few design quirks that either wouldn?t work, or they just weren?t practical to accomplish. I was convinced to remove another wall that I had originally not planned on. I?m so happy I did this now because I couldn't see the issues when I drew things out in my mind. His suggestions greatly improved the functionality and look of our new bathroom. His price target was right where I expected it to be. Where there a few surprises? Of Course?..we went over the original budget but when does that not happen when dealing with a house that is 50 yrs old? When there was a problem Todd would show it to us and explain every step he needed to take and why. One of the strongest qualities Todd possess is his outstanding character. This inherently leads to other strong points and one that comes to mind is his ability for time management. We had a newborn on the way and it was critical that the project would finish before baby arrived. He said no problem, and it was done almost to the day he said it would. His entire crew is just as courteous and professional. Five days a week, 8am sharp every morning. Remember one thing when tackling a home renovation project: You get what you pay for. If you want solid professional no nonsense service that will last a generation and have said work done on time. Todd is your man. Period.

Todd came to our house to bid a couple of bath room remodels. Where he was very professional and nice, I felt his prices were to high for our budget.

After interviewing other kitchen remodeling firms, we hired Todd for our kitchen project based on the quality of previous work he had performed for us and the customer focus he applies to his work. We began working with Todd on the scope of work, the kitchen layout and cabinet and countertop selections approximately six months before project start and about four months before the initial payment, lead time away from delivery of cabinets and countertops. By agreeing to a project start based on our cash flow planning, the cabinet and countertop lead times and the staging of Todd?s other projects, the project kicked off and progressed at a smooth pace. Once we started, Todd was very focused on our project. We never experienced significant delays due to other concurrent projects and never had to wonder when he or his workmen would show up. The few delays we did experience were in general the result of changes we requested ? changes where Todd conferred and worked with us in spite of the impact on the project schedule. Did everything go perfectly? No project ever goes perfectly, but when concerns arose, Todd worked with us to resolve them. Throughout the project, Todd?s focus was on delivering a quality product to our satisfaction. We are very pleased with the results and we plan to call on Todd when we are ready to remodel our master bath.
