Excellent work, would definitely hire again

It went great. They were done in less than an hour. Found a duplicate of the old soap dish that we had so perfect match for bathroom.

Since the home is a rental and Mike was very sympathetic to our problem, and had a crew available for the work within a couple days. The project went great. Mike's installers, Steve and Steve Jr., were able to repair the work that was improperly performed, and did an incredible job completing the work. They were extremely careful and clean, which was a plus since the tenant is meticulously clean, and the previous hire left quite a mess. We would hire Mike again, and would highly recommend Taylor Tile for any tile project, big or small.

Mike and Travis did an excellent job! They were there when they said they would be. They were patient with us since some of our tile was on back order and the counter top people were slow as heck. Mike had to keep doubling back to complete things that were delayed but weren't his fault. The project turned out beautifully, we'll use him again without hesitation.

Even though this was a small kitchen, Mike came out quickly (always shows up when he says he will) and gave us a quote within a couple of days. We discussed various options and he had some very helpful advice about some details that we had not considered. We agreed to the price and approximate timing. Mike contacted us and set up a time and date to do the work. He was nice enough to offer to do the work on a weekend, which was really helpful as both my wife and I work full time. He and his helper showed up on time and since it was a small job, his helper (very polite and obviously skilled) did the installation. He came back the following day to install the grout (doing it on the same day as the installation could cause the grout to stain from the glue) - again, right on time, and completed the job. He cleaned up thoroughly and was out of there in short order. Mike and his helper had rebuilt our bathroom about a year before and we had just as great an experience as this time. We would definitely recommend him for any other work. They are very detailed oriented, work on time, charge very competitive prices, and clean up thoroughly. Cudos to them.

Mike was really super. He is prompt, pricing is fair, and quality of work is excellent. He came when he said he would, did the work, and got out. His guys were really great at ensuring they made a minimum of mess and spent time doing a very good job cleaning up whenever they left. This was not a huge job but Mike was very helpful with good suggestions and attention to detail. He is not much of a talker - more of a doer. We will definitely use his services again!

Mike and Associate, Travis, were always on time and finished the entire project with in stated time period, which was two weeks. They did an excellent job of installing the wall and floor tiles alongwith the travertine bullnose and glass travertine. This is the second big job Mike has done for me and again he did exceptional work. His price is very reasonable considering he includes a variety of materials in the price and the amount of work that needed to be done. We had ceramic tile that had to be taken out and replaced with wood look tile. Mike did an excellent job!! We have a stone fireplace and he cut the tile to fit so there wouldn?t be a ½ inch of grout like the old tile had. I also couldn?t take a week off of work and felt very comfortable leaving the house open for him. He treated our home like it was his own. I would recommend Taylor Ceramic Tile to everyone!

After interviewing several people from Angie's list, we decided to go with Mike Taylor for several reasons. He was very prompt and got back to us quickly with an appointment and then with an estimate. He is a very busy man and it took several weeks for him to start the job, but it was so well worth it. His work ethic is outstanding. He worked quickly, always cleaned up every day and was just a pleasure to work with. I can't even begin to tell you the wonderful job that he did. He went above and beyond our expectations, from picking up the tile from the tile store to replacing all of the bathroom fixtures. I would definately recommend Mike and will use him again. His tile work is beautiful and my bathroom now looks like one of those out of a magazine!

Mike showed up on time for both the estimate and the installation. He did a great job and I plan on calling him again when we do our bathroom.

Mr. Taylor installed tiles in bathroom then came by to redo master bathroom. Both jobs turned out great, on time and good price. Highly recommend.

Mike came to our home and provided a free estimate. He responded quickly to my request to take a look at the job that needed to be done. We selected a future date when I could have the needed tiles on hand and when he would be available and he was there bright and early, as scheduled. He and his co-worker were polite, their work was neat and professional and they cleaned up every work area nicely. Mike listens to customer comments, questions and inputs and works to satisfy them. For the countertop outdoors, he had to completely destroy and replace a layer of partially rotted wood and mesh and concrete board and grout and tile that had three separate angles. He did it to perfection and we love the replacement top. His indoor work was fast, the grout was an exact match to our existing grout (which we had recently had cleaned by a flooring/carpet cleaning company). You can not tell any difference in new and old tiles and grout...just meticulous work. He's a busy guy, so get on his calendar as quickly as you can. The two to three week wait was worth it. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. And, most important, my wife really liked him, his assistant, their work ethic and the results of their work. Mike gets an A+ from the work he did for us.

Best contractor experience I have ever had! Mike does what he says, shows up when he commits to and absolutely pays attention to detail. We were extraordinarily impressed with how he cared about the job like it was his own and the results show it. He always cleaned up at the end of the day and was great to work with. You will find other tile installers that can do the job sooner and maybe cheaper but will end up wishing you would have selected Mike. We look forward to getting him back for our next tile job this winter and wish we could find other contractors this good!

They removed our tub and installed a walk-in shower. They re-did all the tile, which was the bulk of the job. He had his plumber and electrican finish off the rest of the rest of the bathroom. We are actually going to have them work on our second bathroom coming up soon. They have been just fantastic! We have had a few minor issues but they were promptly addressed.

I chose Mr. Taylor based on the reviews here and was not disappointed. Mr. Taylor responded promptly to my inquiry and came over within a few days to provide an estimate. I liked his attitude and professionalism during the estimating process. I chose my own tile and the salesperson at Island Tile spoke very highly of Mr. Taylor. During the time between the estimate and the installation, Mr. Taylor promptly answered any questions that I emailed him concerning shape, size and type of tile I should select. On the day of the installation, Mr. Taylor and his assistant arrived exactly as scheduled and were completely prepared for the job. In the middle of the installation, I asked Mr. Taylor if he could replace a baseboard section and scallop the carpet to meet the new tile and he accommodated my request without any problems. The job took approximately 7 hours over two days. They cleaned up after each phase of the installation so well that you wouldn't realize a renovation had just taken place. I would recommend Taylor Ceramic Tile Installations to anyone and have done so.

We had a miscommunication as to date of initial estimate, as Mike had placed it on his calendar for the following week. Mike adjusted and came on the day I had assumed. This was a small job, handled professionally and punctually. On the day the work was done, he was running ahead of schedule, and called ahead to see if he could arrive early. Excellent communication.

It went very well. There was really no stress on our part. Mike is very professional, and very easy going. He arranged for picking up whatever we purchased for the remodel that we couldn't get home ourselves. They covered the carpets each day, and cleaned up at the end of each day. The project took about a week, with a couple full days. The bathroom looks great! We are very happy with the outcome and would definitely go with Mike for future projects.

Mike and his men were very professional. They worked within the agreed timeframe and always arrived when expected. They always cleaned up afterwards. The quality of his tile work was superior. Mike Taylor did an excellent job of redoing my bathroom. From beginning to end, I was always happy with the service provided. We met Mike Taylor thru Angie's List. He was on time for the first meeting and every time after that. We chose him to do our master bath. Our Master Bath is small, and needed complete overhaul. Mike's Estimate was professional and accurate. My husband had been a tile setter in the past and he can be pretty decerning about how work is done. Mike and his helper were on time every day,. They were considerate of the surroundings and always as clean as the job would allow. They were both polite, and considerate of our space while they worked. The work was finished in the time predicted. Our Bathroom looks GREAT - Mike did a wonderful job and we would recommend him to anyone.

Taylor Tile provided outstanding customer service. Every aspect of the job was handled expertly. I definitely would use Taylor Tile for any future work.

They arrived on time each day and cleaned up at the end of each day. They placed a drop cloth from the garage door into the kitchen to protect the living room's laminate from any water (used for cutting the tile). They also reinstalled the microwave for me (over the stove) and installed shelf brackets into the tile. Mike checked back with us when the job was completed to make sure we were happy. I would use Taylor Ceramics again.

I used Mike because of all the positive reviews on Angie's List. I am happy to add my outstanding review of Mike and Travis as well. I agree with everything everyone else said (cleanliness, attention to detail, showing up on time, etc.) I would like to add an example that will really make a point. Under the bathroom cabinet, in the corner(a very hard to see area), the tile laid down left a section about the size of a thumbnail remaining. Mike cut a piece of tile the size of a pinky finger nail and laid it down to finish the area. Now that is attention to detail! I have heard horror stories from some friends I know about their tile installs. When I showed them the work Mike did, they were jealous. Mike's quote also included ALL the materials he needed to complete the job. There were no surprises when the final bill was paid. I also want to add that we gave him full access to our home while we were at work. He proved to be 100% trustworthy. They even brought the trash cans back into the garage after they were emptied. You can't go wrong with Mike and Travis. Any work we need in the future will be done by them.

Did a good job. No mess. Cleaned up everything remove all trash. All setting materials provided.
