My tech is great. I pay $340/year for service. Includes interior and exterior near the house. They will come to the house anytime you report a concern that warrants service, such as sugar ants. Otherwise they come once every 3 months. I didn't price shop. But the value is good.

Gentleman arrived on time and did a thorough inspection.

We signed an annual contract to have Slug A Bug provide us with treatments and care of our lawn, shrubs, and palms. We also signed an annual contract for interior pest control. We signed the contracts 3 months ago and we are extremely pleased with the results of their treatments, and with their outstanding customer service. The lawn and shrubs all look 200% better than they did when we started. On the inside, we have seen ONE cockroach since the start of the contract, that the bug was on its back dying. So clearly the treatments are working inside and out. I also had an ornamental palm (pigmy date palm) in my pool area that was developing some black spots. I asked Slug-A-Bug if they would treat the plant and they informed me that they normally do not treat inside the pool because the chemicals could get in the water or on other surfaces. I told them I was OK with it and they came out the next day and sprayed. That was a couple of months ago and the palm is looking much better now. Overall, we couldn't be happier with the service we have received.

They were prompt and professional in every way. Did what was promised.

The back lawn was in very bad shape and we resodded some of it when we began service. The front yard was in great shape but had sod webworms which was one of my concerns The guys came when I called in-between service times but the webworms remained and in fact the backyard now had some webworms as well as a small area of what they told me was take-all patch became a bigger area of a problem. They were spraying and laying granular products but the yard was not improving so I stopped service and would begin doing research to do it myself. The guys were nice and said all the right things but again my lawn was not improving while paying for lawn service.

He sprayed the outside walls, around the windows, got cobwebs out of soffit area, and even surrounding areas around the house for ants. We were very pleased with his work. He does this every 3 months and we have not seen any insects.

They come once a month. Nothing extraordinary. Just everything seems to be okay. It was very good. They're there when they say they're going to be there. When we call to do a touch up or whatever, they're pretty responsive so we're happy with them.

I contacted Slug-A-Bug initially several months ago as a new homeowner in the area. Since then they have earned my Termite, Insect, and Lawn treatment services. My experience with them has been and continues to be first rate. They are always On-time, Professional and Knowledgeable about their services and products. I could not be happier and would recommend them to anyone looking for a company to deliver these types of service.

I had called a couple and they came out to do an estimate and it was timely, I think that's why I went with them. Good customer service I guess. They come out monthly, I pay quarterly.

Tony, the termite inspector, arrived on time as each has for 12 years. He was polite and professional.. The best news, however, is that he carried disposable booties to pull over his shoes before he entered my home. One could hope that this would be SOP for all businesses but Slug-A-Bug is the ONLY one which I have hired which seems to be customer oriented enough to require their emplyees to wear them.

Found termite infestation had started attacking the house where water damage had occurred. House had never been treated for termites. After the quick and friendly inspection, they had a team come out within a week. 3 men came and completed both the external treatments as well as in the crawl space under the house. Nearly 400 gallons was used and am happy with the friendly and efficient work by Slug a Bug. Was even happier to find out they were actually a local company as opposed to a name brand. Took advantage of a huge discount and got services for nearly 50% off. Will definitely be using for yearly routine inspections. Thanks again ladies and gents, such a great job!!

Our technician is very nice. He called the day before to let us know he would be there Tuesday and gave a time range. He did this even though he doesn't need access inside the house. He was very prompt, and knocked on the door to let me know he was here. An invoice was left at the door and also emailed to me. The application took just 10 minutes. Since we started with them, our ant problems inside the house have disappeared (it was bad...hundreds of ants all over the place). We love that they use environmentally safe products. The first application was done inside the house and outside, though all follow-up treatments every quarater are only outside. He did an extremely thorough review of the home inside and outside before making his recommendation for treatment. In addition, if we do spot problems between quarterly treatments, they will come out free of charge. We've been very impressed with the professionalism and effectiveness of the company.

The technician was honest and told us it would take some time to bring our lawn back to good condition. He advised us that after treating the weeds, the lawn will actually look worse for a while. But he said if we are consistent with watering and give it some time, it would begin to look better. It has been about 2 1/2 months since the initial treatment. They come out approx. every 2 months. My front lawn is greatly improved. The back lawn is improving but it was much worse than the front to begin with so it will be a while getting it back. The technician recommended that we may want to add sod in the really bare areas to fill in faster. But I am very happy with the results so far. Just sorry I didn't consult Angie's List in the 1st place. But I won't make that mistake again.

The two men came on time and introduced themselves and told me exactly what they were going to do. The application is done both inside the house and around the perimeter of the dwelling. The men were friendly and I felt did a great job. Slug A Bug also sent a supervisor out to inspect what the men did. I couldn't ask for anything more.

All representatives were professional and knowledgeable. Office worked with us to schedule an appointment that worked in our schedule. Very happy with service thus far. I used Angie's List to select the service provider, so I didn't shop around. I don't know how their price compares to competitors. Was able to save some dollars with Angie's List coupon.

We watered the lawn once a week in the winter and measured the amount of water which was less than 1/2 inch. The lawn started to die and the tech claimed we were still overwatering. We went to Ace hardware and got a bag of Scotts fertilizer and spread some over a small area. The grass greened up. When the tech came back again, my husband told him he thought the lawn needed more fertilizer. The tech put some on but he was done in such in short period of time it seemed impossible that he did the entire area. Two weeks later you can see where he walked with the spreader as you can count the lines in the lawn where they are greener. My shrubs also have black spots on them, so I doubt they really do anything to them. I really don't think you should have to walk behind anyone you hire to do any work around your home to make sure you get what you pay for.

Slug a Bug did the original inspection before we bought the house. They treated the house for termites with a product that created a barrier around the house, under the sinks, toilets and bathtubs. This was a year or so before "Termidor" came on the market. We did have an active termite situation develop but the owner, at that time, Doug, took care of the damage as the contract said they would. I was then recommended to update our protection to this new treatment called Termidor. It is an amazing product. The termites get it on their bodies or bring it back to the Queen and the mound dies. That is how I understand it and it had never been done before. They check the house annually and retreat the house every ten years, I think. They also take care of my lawn for bugs and fertilize as the seasons call for it. They leave me exact instructions on when to water and what was put down. They are very concerned about my pets and warn me to keep them in until it is dry. Never had a problem there. They also take care of my shrub pest control and feeding. And if that not enough I have the indoor/outdoor pest control done by them too. All of this is a huge job in Florida. But anytime I call, they are there. I can't recommend them more than being a customer for 15 years can say. As in any business sometimes you end up with the wrong employee, it has happened to our business and to Slug a Bug too. As soon as they are made aware of a concern they are on top of it. The manager, or sometimes the President of the company comes out to check on the situation. I had a short term employee do some damage to my home and the President, Steve Lum, had his crew try a couple of solutions' that didn't work and without a moments hesitation they had the problem resolved. I am still whirling iit happened so easily. I could go on and on about my favorite people and more but just be assured if you aren't happy they will be there until you are. Quite an unusual quality in a business these days, but they stand by their work and most of the people or they aren't Slug a Bug material. Cathy Popp

We were contacted by their office personnel to confirm all had been scheduled with the service tech. The office staff as well as the service guys that have been to the house are extremely professional. The service team is polite and considerate of our home. They watch to assure to re-close gates to keep the pets protected. We have used them quite a few times now and have several neighbors that are impressed with them and intend to go to Slug-A-Bug.

The yard was bothered by gray grass (the result of buying bad sod), sedge, fungus, and dollar weed. We still have the gray grass, fungus, dollar weed, and some sedge. I spent approximately $425 for two treatments. We went to the John Deere chemical store for lawn care, paid $75 for a chemical to treat the fungus. After 1 treatment the lawn is much improved regarding the fungus. We didn't see these results even after six weeks with the treatment by Slug-A-Bug.

They provide home, lawn and pest control services. We have used this company for several years. The office staff and crew members are professionals in their field.

WE use Slug a Bug as our pest control company who comes out every few month to spray for bugs. We recently have had a lot of trouble with fleas. I called them and they came out the next day to go over their cost and were able to spray my property that same day. They did their initial spraying and will now do a follow up this week then we will have our property sprayed every month. I have nothing but praise for this company!
