Description of Work: Indoor and outdoor pest control treatment. They did a good job. I had a scheduled trip planned and They were able to accommodate my schedule.

Description of Work: At the time we used a different lawn service. Slug a Bug had come just 1 time prior when we decided to have Slug a Bug into the house to spray (because we had found 2 enormous spiders). We contacted the usual outside lawn service that we needed immediate service for fleas. Their competitor said they couldn't make it out until 4 days. We pleaded that we had a FLEA issue and that we couldn't get rid of it on the (4!!) dogs until the lawn had a treatment. Slug a Bug (Randy, our inside tech) said he'd get in touch right a way with their outside contact. Lee is the person who regularly services our lawn for pest control now because SLUG A BUG KNOWS HOW TO GIVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. I can't recall on Angie's List rating service if A is the best service or the worst so I didn't check any boxes for fear of checking the wrong one. SLUG A BUG gave us top line service across the board. Randy was directly responsible for getting Lee here on the double, and I can't tell you how much that meant to us. In 25 years of having multiple dogs this was our very 1st encounter with fleas which they had contacted from the grooming service we used then (and the last time). The fleas were still in the house because the dogs carried them in from outside after already infesting the lawn with them from the groomer. Turns out it took 2 outside applications to solve the pesky fleas. I hope we NEVER have another encounter ever. We couldn't have anyone in the house because for fear of them getting fleas from possibly sitting on our furniture. We were concerned for them and didn't have any Christmas guests which pretty well ruined this holiday. If it hadn't been for Slug a Bug the problem probably would have gone on another long month. Our bedding had to be washed in hot water because the dogs sleep on our king size bed with us. We followed Randy's instructions to the letter to rid the inside but it was Lee's 2nd outside application which finally resolved the problem. I credit SLUG A BUG fully for coming to our rescue! | |PS--I tried to submit this form w/o A-F ratings and it wouldn't take my review so plus know that I am assuming A is alpha best and the only way I would rate Slug A Bug across the board.

Description of Work: The company sent out a representative so I could explain my issues with pest control. The representative was courteous and professional. The rep explained to me in detail what the cost would be. By the next day I had my lawn treated and the interior and exterior of my house treated. I plan on keeping my service as it is a good price and excellent service.

Description of Work: They treated both inside and outside, and retuned promply when we noticed an additional problem without charge.

Description of Work: They spent an hour plus evaluating a rat problem we were having. They informed us that we could handle the problem ourselves and gave us tips on how to "seal up" the environment to avoid further visits. We followed their advice and are rodent free. We greatly appreciate their honesty.

Description of Work: We moved into a place that had issues with different pests, including fire ants in the house. They got rid of the issues upstairs and down. They now provide continuing service to keep everything away. From the first visit everything was laid out to us clearly and they have been here every time they said they would and performed the work. Gave us personal contact numbers to get a hold of them as well.

Description of Work: Sprayed a magnolia tree that had fungus. Let me know instead of wasting money that my grass was weeds and i needed sod. I thanked him for being honest.

Description of Work: We are experiencing a severe ant invasion. The salesman arrived within a few minutes of his scheduled time. Inspected our home and diagnosed the problem as "Big Headed Ants". He gave us an estimate of services to rid us of the ants. He also suggested a termite treatment but didn't push the more expensive treatment.. He also listened our concerns regarding our pets and my wife's pyrethin allergy. The route man was prompt in scheduling service, and arrived on time. He seemed quite knowledgeable regarding the pest control products. He asked that we confine our cats away from the areas of application for a couple of hours. The service seems to be very effective. I've seen only two ants in the two days since the treatment. We have also discovered two dead roaches (which we didn't know we had) since the treatment. I marked price as NA in the survey because I don't have anything to compare it with.

Description of Work: They sprayed my home for bugs.

Description of Work: we had recently caught a rat in a trap in the attic after hearing noises, and wanted to make sure there weren't any more. We also had these big black carpenter ants in the house, coming from the crawl space between the ceiling and the roof (but there is no way to crawl in that space because of the flat roof). We were worried they were eating the wood and tried spraying but it didn't work. Slug a bug got rid of all the pests, and we have not seen a single live ant or rat since then. They created a shield around the outside of the house against all insects, and also put in a bait in two or three places in the attic that the ants would take back to their nest.
