Gabriel showed up exactly on time. We were installing a new gas range and had to convert the outlet from 220 to 110. Gabriel looked at the range in comparison to where the outlet was and made the recommendation to move the outlet over in order to best fit with the range. He did an excellent job in relocating the outlet and had to cut out some drywall during the process. The drywall repair was very professional (the range installer even commented on how good the repair was). The outlet was relocated and panel breaker was updated with no other problems. Gabriel was very polite and professional and we appreciated all of his recommendations. He took great care with our home putting down drop clothes on the tile floor and thoroughly cleaning up after he was finished. We now have an electrician that we will definitely call again in the future and I will be referring Pingston Electric to family and friends.

It went fine. They stayed true to the price but they did also add like a mileage fee.

To say I was blown away by Pingston would be a major understatement. The owner contacted me in regards to two jobs that I requested online and gave me several suggestions to rule out the need for an electrician. What company does that?? They OBVIOUSLY have the customer's best interest in mind. Which explains why they have outstanding reviews. Turns out we needed a technician and scheduling was fast and easy. And I knew exactly what I would be paying beforehand. Ed was our technician and he was clearly an expert. Every question I had he was able to answer in a way I could understand. It Is safe to say we will be using Pingston Electric, and Ed, from here on out for our electrical needs.

All went well, Pingston has done work for me before and will again if I need it. When owner, John Pingston, gave me the estimate, for this work, he was very thorough & professional. He told me if actual work turned out to be less than estimate, I would pay lesser amount. If work was more than estimate, I would still pay lesser estimate amount. I ended up paying exact estimate amount.

Who builds a house and doesn't put lights out back? Anyway, we had Mr. Pingston over to give us an estimate on adding two motion lights out back and a switch inside. The estimate was agreeable and we were able to schedule the work fairly quickly. One of his associates came out and installed the lights and the switch. Unfortunately, we had to cut into the drywall to run the wire for the switch but it was easily repairable. They did a great job and even talked to me about some other projects I need done and how much they may cost as well as which I should do right away and what I can wait on. We'll definitely use them for future needs.

We called Friday afternoon to see if anyone would be available to help us hang a bathroom light before the weekend. Within 10 mins we had a response and they squeezed us into the schedule before the weekend. This was surprising as we had called about 5-10 other places who weren't able to. Justin arrived about 20-30 mins later and he was terrific. He not only helped us hang the bathroom light but also a mirror below it. It took about 2 hours and he was very friendly and informative on what he was doing and tips for any future troubleshooting. He provided quality service and friendly conversation. I will definitely call him back if I need something in the future. Thanks!

I was told twice that it should take 21/2 hours to install the ceiling fan. It took 61/2 hours. 15 feet of wire molding needed to be installed, some on a concrete ceiling. It took over 2 hours just to install the molding. The wall switch is not even flush mounted- it sticks out from the wall. The electrician got the fan installed and discovered that there was a wiring problem with the fan. The fan would work, but the lights would not. Finally he said that I needed a new light kit. I drove to Home Depot, purchased a light kit and bulbs. He managed to get the original ceiling fan's lights to work, so he did not need the light kit I had purchased. When I got the bill, it was for $750, including parts. I told him that I was not happy with the 61/2 hour installation. He said that the wiring inside the fan (a Hunter fan) caused him to spend more time on the installation. He arrived at our condo at 11:40. The fan was not even installed to the ceiling until over 4 hours later. He offered to take one hour of labor off of the bill. There was also some inflation for the parts, i.e.- $10 for screws and wire nuts. The electrician was a very nice man and he ended up getting the fan to work properly, but it was very expensive. .

Wonderful! Came right out as I needed it done quickly. Fixed everythingfor me as stove was hardwired. Had to put new box inetc so new stove could slide rightin. Helped m e get old one in garage. Very neat,looks awesome. Wish I had called them on , previous work I had done!!

The technician showed up on time as promised and finished everything within the time I had purchased. He was pleasant and very professional. A follow-up needed on the receptacle was done the following day. I have the utmost respect for this company and will definitely call an them again very soon.

Gabriel was the Electrician that was sent to do the troubleshooting, and he did a fantastic job giving the nature of the wire bundles he had to deal with and untangle. It was decided that besides the wiring issue I had two faulty switches that operated my ceiling fans and they were replaced to my satisfaction. I plan on using Pingston again for a 220 line conversion to 110 for backyard outlets. John Pingston responded to my needs quickly and professionally.

We were so impressed with them that we had them stay and fix a bad switch, a short and a remote/chandelier control that ended up showing a defective switch. I plan on having them back to check out some lights that keep burning out too quickly and installing a fountain and switch in the back yard.

Either way, he helped figure it all out in less than 25 min. I was paying for an hour so I asked to have my dimmer switch/fan switch combo replaced. Glad I did. He found a bad connection the owner prior to me attempted to rig and it was causing an arch and burning behind the switch plate. Michael was very friendly and full of integrity and professionalism. Fair price and great work.

Great service but didn't understand special when I bought it online so it ended up costing more than I thought. Wish I knew that up front.

The electrician correctly diagnosed a problem with a circuit connected to a dryer and fixed the problem quickly and efficiently

Gabe was extremely professional and very efficient in every issue and fix that needed to be completed. He would not leave until he felt "I was completely safe". He found all the outlets were not grounded, wires were exposed, appliances were hooked up incorrectly - all due to the former owner's remodel. Pingston Electric now has a customer for life! I would not go to anyone else from here on in. They will be the first and only electrical company I call for any problems I have. Gabriel the technician was amazing. Very punctual and professional. He was at the house all day ensuring everything was fixed, repaired, and safe. He represents his company very well. One advise I give is never take short cuts with your electric. For the work done I felt it was very reasonable. Pingston Electric has a customer for life. I only want them working on my electric.
