Description of Work: Used an Angie's list deal. Had one sliding glass door rollers replaced. They arrived early, started immediately, repaired the door, cleaned the tracks and swept up afterwards. They checked the door worked properly and aligned with the lock. They also drilled out the holes for the security pegs that were out of alignment, no charge. They had all the tools & parts needed with them, great company.

Description of Work: put new window in and new screen

Description of Work: Replaced rollers and handle on sliding glass door. Very polite and most of all punctual which is very important to me. My door works like new!

Description of Work: I had rain seeping into my home through a downstairs and an upstairs window. I called several window places who suggested thousands of dollars in repairs, but had Carbonneau's come last(not by design-it just fit our schedule best). The first thing he said was it wasn't the window, it was the shutter, something he didn't do, but sent me to his associate of 20 plus years who does, and wouldn't accept a dime or a tip for his time. The shutter guy diagnosed the problem carbonneau for a lot less money than all new windows several companies tried to pitch. Honesty like this goes a long way in my book, and I feel like breaking a window or 2 just to give carbonneau's something. Even though they didn't physically do anything per se, I would recommend this place and these people in a heartbeat.

Description of Work: This company replaced a window in my house to repair a leak. Cost and time targets were exactly as quoted. I was concerned that there would be delays because contractors often misquote the timing of their projects to make sure they get the business. Carbonneau's gave me accurate timing and was able to stick with the cost in the original estiamte. I would recommend them again.

Description of Work: Front balcony door was letting noise in. Allegedly needed full dismount and replacement of rollers. After work was performed door is still with issue. Not only was it over priced but fix was not definitive.

Description of Work: We had a metal front door in our Delray Beach condo; we wanted louvered glass in the door to increase light in the entrance hallway and to facilitate air flow in the condo. We contacted several companies, but Carbonneau was the only one who agreed to do the work, despite technicalities that seemed to stump other home repair company personnel. We liked the friendly professionalism and are pleased with the results. We were a bit surprised by what we thought was a high price, but believe now that the price was fair. One glass pane (louver) came broken, but that was replaced the following week. Several other residents have seen the door & we have been happy to refer them to this company.

Description of Work: This company is as good as it gets. If you are looking for a better company to do business with, Stop! From the secretary to the owner you won't find a more friendly or more professional atmosphere. Need proof, just visit their offices and see for yourself.

Description of Work: Called for service on a broken window, Gem was very pleasant to handle my call and request. The team was already out on calls and appointment was made for the next day. Mike Shea the owner arrived promptly and said he would need to take the bottom half of the window back to the shop to replace the glass. He would bring it make that evening (this was at 11am) which wasn't a problem for me. He called at 3pm and said the glass was replaced and he would be over in 30 minutes to reinstall it. Sure enough 30 minutes on the dot he was back at the house. The price quoted was what was charged. Overall very pleased with the quality of the service and work performed. I'd definitely use them again and highly recommend them.

Description of Work: Very nice reception. They did not do the type work I was needing but referred me to another company.

Description of Work: needed repair on bedroom window lock. Needed new spring and lock. Work was done on time, Service call and repairs cost was very reasonably compared to other companies who did not even want to come out for such a small job.
