CARBONNEAU'S Impact Windows, Doors and Screening

Very unprofessional, Very unreliable, Lacks integrity, truthfulness and trustworthiness. Will not recommend or hire again. I have done some minor repairs of windows before with this company and was not a big deal , did not involve major installation or deposit , so never had a problem. However this time around I paid for impact windows installation that was supposed to be completed in 6- 8 weeks. Right from after the deposit was paid, communication stopped. I heard nothing more from them regarding permit filing and all the paper works for HOA even though I paid for permit. I had to call their office several times without any response. After 8 weeks there was still no response. It was not until I asked for a refund that Mike eventually hurriedly sent some people (not sure if they work for him) to come and install the windows. Half way through the installation , I noticed they had not installed the screens , asked them where the screens where, they said they forgot to bring it, called Mike , only to learn the screens where yet to be shipped and the man from the warehouse will be installing the screen when it arrives. It was unbelievable! I told them I will never allow that. Finally the installers came back the next day and installed the screens. Then I asked for the inspection papers and time. Another lies and lies of dates that never materialized. I eventually called the inspectors office , only to learn permit was not fully completed or picked up and so work cannot be inspected until their expired documents were submitted. I followed up with Mike again until the inspection was finally done . Time frame was 4 months. It was a horrible experience. Every conversation was unreliable and untruthful. Will not recommend to anyone that values Professionalism and integrity in business. This was a nightmare!

The guys did an outstanding job. They installed a very high-quality impact resistant custom door and did a great job with the installation. Their work was flawless.

I went very well. The contractors personnel showed up when scheduled and completed the work ON TIME and CORRECTLY THE FIRST TIME. All permits were obtained by Carbonneau's staff and all final inspections by the Pompano Beach inspectors PASSED the first time. I may have paid a little more than another contractor quoted but I had confidence from Carbonneau from the beginning and they did not let me down. I have no problem endorsing their work for others looking for similar impact door and window replacements.

Called for a quote on a re-screening project. Accepted the quote and requested that the work be scheduled which the provider agreed to. That was 20 days ago. No further communication from this company. Simply unprofessional.

My experience was great! The team was professional and punctual. The installation went smoothly and I couldn't be more pleased!

Great crew. They were responsible. We had a few miscommunications, more on the administrative side than it was on the work side. The work was good. I just had it inspected today and it was good.

I loved the work they did. The windows would go up but not stay up. I liked them very much. They were courteous and very straight forward. No change in price just straight forward work. They are quick, very quick. When they came I told him (Mike) I definitely needed him to do a good job and should I pay a deposit. He said no, we will come and do the job then you pay us.

Well it was completed and screen works well now.

They've been good! They were the only ones that could handle the job needed done.

Installers were excellent: respectful, courteous, and thorough. Management: Not sure whether they didn't know they needed a permit for the job, or just didn't bother with it. An inspector happened to come by during the installation and suddenly it was an emergency. I had to drop what I was doing and drive 10 miles to their office to sign for the permit (which btw needed to go to a city office less than a mile from my home). Planning ahead is evidently not their strong suit. Definitely ask them about permits ahead of time, and/or move to the next vendor on the list.

Excellent- punctual, honest, professional

Carbonneau came with a competitive pricing offer and detailed proposal for the job. The crew did a very professional job and performed certain adaptations during the installation to fit the conditions (windows and door sizes versus space available) at no extra cost. They kept the work areas clean and left with a great impression on the quality of work. It is worth considering them for this kind of job!

Took all of 5 minutes and cost $206.00...Could have had it done for $125.00.. I guess you pay more for same day service :-(

I called to see about getting a window replaced in my house. I also sent a message through the app. I spoke with the receptionist who took all my information and told me she would speak with the owner and get back to me and I never heard from them again. Whether or not they could or couldn't do the job I thought they could of at least called me back🙁

Extremely responsive. He came out and told us that we don't need his services. We were very impressed with his honesty! If I ever need a window replaced, I'm calling him!

The receptionist is very nice and professional. I explained what the issue was and they called to schedule a time. Mike was here today to address several windows which were loose, stuck, jammed, etc. They all seem to functioning properly now. He's very pleasant and professional. I have used their services in the past and I would definitely call them again in the future.

From initial contact to completion, this is how it should go when having work done on your home!!!! Professional and courteous from beginning to end. Not the cheapest but, as they say, you get what you pay for. From initial contact when Mike came to look at what was needed to completion it was a great experience. Mike explained to me my options. Unlike another company who just came in and took measurements and gave me a quote. Mike not only took the measurements but spent time with me explaining the process and products available to me. Carbonneau's was recommended by a friend and I cannot thank them enough. Thank you Mike. Thank you Gem. Thanks to the installers.

Great service as always. I first contacted Carbonneau's in 2008 for screen repairs and was quite happy with the service so naturally I contacted them again for this new project. Mike and his team are always very professional courteous tidy and arrive on time. In both instances Mike returned his quote to me the same day and we were able to complete the repairs within a couple of days. The particular product that Mike and I agreed on was not quickly available but he was able to locate a suitable replacment which kept us on schedule. Gem is a pleasure to speak with very patient and understanding. Thank you for a job well done.
