+ -1 moreWhen we contacted them on a Saturday, they were there the same day. Wendy calmed our concerns with logic and reason and decided which areas required treatment. She told us what we would have to do along with the remediation treatments and recommended where to buy and what to do to prepare for the first treatment and follow on actions and what that would entail. First treatment (spraying) was two days later with the second step (dusting) about 10 days later. When we were still having problems about a week after that they came in again and resprayed "ground zero". Following that in a week we had another visit by the technician and his supervisor with breakdown of bed frames and retreatment. We believe our problem is resolved, but it is potentially a long term issue determined by the life cycle of the creatures. We do not know where or how the pests came from. We also believe that if we need further help from Truly Nolen, we will receive it.
Description of Work: Promptly diagnosed cause of bug bites and recommended remediation treatment for a fee. Along with treatment they carefully reviewed the extensive actions we needed to do to eliminate and repel the causative agents; they explained the 'why' of what they and we were doing . They were realistic in setting our expectations and have been very responsive to monitor progress and retreat problem areas. They continue to work with us and have promised to not leave us with the problem.

+ -1 moreWe have no bugs in the house. In one instance several years ago we did have a swarm of tiny ants on a wall....called Truely Nolan and within an hour someone was here and eliminated the problem.

The technician Yvette was great taking great care to do a thorough job yet dining only what was necessary and educating me on steps to prevent other bugs that we could expect with the change of seasons ( we are new here).

+ 0 moreOn the monthly pest control, again Truly Nolen does not spray inside the house unless they are asked to do so. They treat the yard and perimeter, as well as around windows and doors. This prevents the bugs from getting inside. The monthly treatment charge is $58.
Description of Work: I have a separate contract with them under which they come once a month to spray for bugs and pests. That contract similarly dates back to 2003.

+ -1 moreI asked them not to kill my outside spiders. They have been very understanding and are cautious not to kill those spiders. We have had a few spiders that have become extinct in this area due to all of the bug spraying.

+ 0 moreI was not too happy with the guy who told me to buy some chemical and put it under the house. I did not understand why I should do this when I am paying them money to take care of the situation. At the same time, I do not blame them for the situation with the termites. It seemed like the termites were worse than usual this year. In any event, the company was as pleasant as could be. Their people came immediately and were thorough and professional.
Description of Work: The original termite treatment was done June 2003. The contract has been renewed every year since then. They also return to re-treat the premises if there is evidence of termites. I had them back to do this several times this year between May and July. I don't remember every having to call them back in prior years, but I may have at one time or another. The initial treatment was $1,144. The annual renewal is $254 In the Florida Keys, literally everything is infested with termites. Truly Nolen is unique in that they do not tent the property and spray poison gas in. Instead, they treat the premises inside the walls, ceiling, and flooring and around the outside perimeter. When I called them to re-treat this year, it was because the termites were flying all around. I had wings and droppings everywhere. They came and pressure injected chemicals into the walls wherever there was evidence of termite activity. They also suggested I put some powdered chemical on the ground under the house.
