+ -1 moreThey came very promptly, diagnosed the problem, then spent about 6 hours fixing it. It was a 2 days before Christmas and 87 degrees with no air conditioning because the electricity was out. But the workmen were very nice, they did a good job and we highly recommend this company.

+ -1 moreWe had Lighthouse Electric check our electrical panel as it was starting to heat up. I suspected one of the switches in the panel, which I had previously replaced, and it was acting up again. Lighthouse came in informed me what the problem was, replaced the switch, but this time put the switch in a new location. Apparently, the old switch slot had some electrical damage that I didn't know about. Overall, the service call saved me time and money - plus the job was done right. Please keep in mind I cannot accurately recall the date of service and the approximate service fee is just that approximate. I felt what was charged was well worth the service and advice I received.

Description of Work: I recently had the pleasure of working with Lighthouse Electric. It was a pretty big project that required a skilled and knowledgeable electrician. The owner Billy Rich was able to trouble shoot and analyze my needs. Repairs and modern upgrades on the lighting system were made. The price was presented before the job ever started so we knew exactly what to expect. I did interview a couple of other electric companies, however, once I met Billy there was no doubt he was a cut above the rest in professionalism, pricing and honesty. I set- up an appointment, they promptly arrived at my home, explained the situation and my options and carried out the work in a timely, friendly, neat, thorough and attentive manner. From the new breaker box, rewiring the house, installing new lighting, Billy is the electrician man!! Our neighbors had since used him too with the same results!! You may wait a while for an open slot but he and his crew are well worth it. Lighthouse Electric deserves every last one of these stars and his work is 100% guaranteed! He made sure I knew to call him if there were any issues or just if I had any questions. Great experience from beginning to end. I absolutely love this company!

+ -1 moreIt took approximately three (3) days to do the job. There were always two personnel and sometimes three working more than eight hours a day. They all were very knowledgeable of the work performed. The house has a flat roof and crawl space is very limited, however they managed to get the job done in a most professional manner. This review is late because I had to have surgery on May 31st and am still doing outpatient rehab.
Description of Work: Replaced all household aluminum wiring, that was installed in 1973 when home was built, with copper wiring & New electrical boxes. Replaced all switches and receptacles throughout the house. I was having problems with the aluminum wiring and was very lucky my home didn't burn down.

They worked with and scheduled the FPL subcontractor for the power change over . Lighthouse electric was punctual and showed up when they said they would. They completed the job in a very professional and timely manner.

I would not hesitate to recommend Lighthouse Electric Service for electrical services in your home or business. You can tell that Billy takes pride in his work. He handles all the details and is a perfectionist. The job was completed, the debris removed, swept up afterwards, and I was happy with his work.
Description of Work: Billy Rich installed all the new electric wiring, receptacles and switches, lights, and under-cabinet lights for a small apartment with kitchen that I added to my home. He and his helper had to run wires through the crawl space to get to the other side of the house. Billy helped me determine how many recessed lights I needed in the kitchen area to have adequate lighting for cooking. He installed the range and the over-the-range microwave. I have used him on 3 separate occasions and his prices are fair and the work is always done in a professional fashion. He has installed ceiling fans, removed outdated track lights and replaced them with recessed lights. He repaired several wall switches that didn't work and replaced them with decorator switches to match what I had elsewhere in the room. He has installed outdoor dusk-to-dawn lights. One of the best things I find about working with Billy is that he thinks through the job and has enough experience to know the best location for wall switches and outlets for the day-to-day use of lights and ceiling fans. You can count on a great job every time!

+ 0 moreOnce he installed the ceiling fan, we tested it and it didn't work. We thought that it was the problem in the remote. When I got a new remote (that same day) it still didn't work. The electrician offered to take the whole thing back to the hardware store and get a new one. He came back and put it up and it worked! He is great. He is just starting out in business for himself and not many people would offer to take the product back to the store when they didn't provide it. He went out of his way to help. Even with all his additional trips to the hardware store, he never asked for additional money. But I did offer to pay him.
Description of Work: He initially came with different company to give me an estimate for outdoor plugs. I called him again, once he started his own business, about installing a ceiling fan on a Saturday. He offered to come within an hour.
