Very unprofessional

Outstanding provider! I made an initial request for bid from Oak Tree Building and several other contractors for the siding/painting project. Only Oak Tree and one other actually even returned a quote to me. Due to budget issues, work was delayed several months. When we were ready, we made another request to Oak Tree and several other contractors, and again, only Oak Tree and one other provided an estimate. Pricing for the project was great. Since we had past experience with the company for a smaller job, and really liked their crews, we gave the job to Oak Tree. The repairs were done well. We REALLY appreciated the fact that they gave us a true report on the condition of much of the home structure and didn't inflate the repairs necessary or costs involved. New siding was installed quickly and painting was done very well with extremely good results. We love the job! When I returned from a trip and found the color was not what we expected, I called them out for a meeting, but before he could even get there, I verified that the paint was EXACTLY what we ordered. Unfortunately, the color chip was different than what was shown on a picture. Oak Tree was VERY apologetic and wanted to make sure we were happy..... it took an extremely long time for me to re-assure him that the problem was on OUR end, not theirs. While future projects will be sent out for bids (just to keep everyone honest), I don't expect to use anyone for home repairs other than Ed Hathaway and Oak Tree Building / Oak Tree Construction. Extremely polite, good prices, fast work..... everything that you would want from a contractor!! Not enough good words available to promote him!!!
