I had moved into a 1930's home and had begun renovation. Within 2 months after moving in, I experienced large roaches in the kitchen, living room and dining room. I was interested in an environmentally friendly pest control company and found NVIROTECT through Angie's List. The representative came out to the house within a week from the day I contacted the company and explained my problem with roaches. The roaches were found to be in the walls and around the house. The house was treated extensively in the kitchen, other open areas of the walls, and around the perimeter of the house (in order to create a barrier from getting into the house). The pest control made the roaches sick within the first week after the application and they crawled out of the spaces and eventually died. Within 2 weeks, I did not see any more roaches in the house. The initial service of $150 was waived if I agreed to quarterly recurring service at a cost of $70 which I was in agreement. The service representative was courteous and professional and explained what type of pest control he was applying to the kitchen, open areas of the house, and around the house. I was pleased with the results and will continue to use NVIROTECT.

Working with nvirotech has been wonderful. We hired them initially for basic pest services after spring a few very large spiders in our home. They came out promptly and treated both inside and outside our home. We were so pleased we decided to also hire them to complete our termite preventative treatments.

Had a termite barrier put in just before the lanai was poured for pool so they could access the near the home. Did a neat job across concrete areas. Had used them previously for a relative's home who had termites. They came quickly and killed the termites. They also provide a better guarantee than most other companies. Also use them for regularly scheduled maintenance. If any issues came up (e.g., ants outside door), they came quickly and without question to address. Am also happy they use "green" approaches to pest control.

So far the service has turned out very good.

they were great - very prompt, explained everything, were very neat. Diagnosed our lawn issue as white grubs. Treated the cockroach problem we were having in the kitchen. We still have a few little ants and a few white grubs, but it's a huge improvement. I have called to request additional treatment for the white grubs because armadillos are tearing up parts of the yard to get at them.

They are really good. They use pet safe chemicals. The first service was free. I have many pets and it's important for me that the type of chemicals they use is safe for them. I have very big issue with ants which is moving through my new house. I tried many service from other providers but nothing worked as good as they did. They just came once and all the ants were gone. I really liked them. Their price was okay.

Nvirotech came out and told us the problem was the trees we had close to the house. That they needed to be trimmed. In the meantime they put baits down for the ants which helped some. As it turns out they knew what they were talking about. Trimming the trees took care of the ant problem. We have not seen any pest problems since. We will definitely use them in our next house.

Employees and owner are very knowledgable, easy to work with, on time, excellent work.

This is an update to the below: I was called the next day after writing this review and Nivrotect made sure all my complaints were addressed. They told me a guy would be calling to due my quarterly visit and I asked to give a two week notice for future calls because of my busy schedule. They sai they made a note on my account. I mentioned for my trouble I would like to recieve a discount and they comped my next visit ($75.00 value). The guy came out as we scheduled, was polite, quick and I haven't seen any fire ants in my house. I'm happy with their service and understand they made a great effort to fix their mistake they made before. I can now rate them an overall "A"! Before this visit I personally used some professional grade spray and some 6 month crystal formula. The inital visit was great. The guy who came out was the owner and he was very professional and detailed. He covered all areas and explained what he was doing. I felt good that my fire ant infestation would be under controll soon. I was told about a week to two weeks to see a difference. About two weeks later I still had tons of ants and called Nvirotect and left a message asking for someone to come out again. I heard back from no one. I never got a call back or follow up to see if my problem was taken care of. After two weeks the ants started going away. I can't say for sure if it was due to my work before Nvirotect came out , there work or both. I just had enough witht he ants to give my work time to kick in before I asked them to professionally come out. I just wanted the situation taken care of promptly. I would say the company does know what they are doing with their techincal expertise, but I feel their customer service is poor. They never followed-up, never returned my phone call and as of now, I haven't heard from the company for my quarterly visit scheduling.

Overall service was excellent. He was punctual, courteous and informative.

They are pretty good actually. Biotech pest control is very effective. We had pest problems and after they’ve treated the house we don’t have any problems at all. So far it’s been good. They do things very well. I will definitely use their services again in the future.

Company owner personally came to our house to assess termite damage and estimate.He was very friendly and helpful. He helped to satisfy pest control issues relating to my mortgage without overcharging. He even threw in a separate treatment at no extra cost.Only problem came when a technician accidentally drilled through a water pipe that was concealed. The technician shut off the water and got a plumber out to repair the line. Unfortunately, a small section of concrete had to be busted out of a walkway and was not cleaned up or repaired.

Everything turned out just fine with this company. They are very responsive and were on time to the appointment. They even gave me a discount because I had used them before. They even came back out to follow up and performed another complete service.

They do a good job. They are safe with pets.

I just wanted them to come out one time because I have never had pest problems before. They were very inflexible and told me they required me to sign up for yearly service. I could have made a fuss about it, but I felt like as a customer I should be able to get the service I want without that, so I called someone else who was more than willing to come out just one time.

They were expensive for me, but they were very good. They quoted me about $1095. If I had the money, I would probably have gone with them. I would consider using their services in the future.

The methods used definitely took care of our roach problems. The tech was professional and answered all questions thoroughly. We chose Nvirotech based on the products they use being safe for pets and children, and so far no ill effects have been displayed by either. I'm a fan of having to sign up for a service contract for a year (with quarterly visits and any additional necessary followups included) but agreed to it mainly due to my wife's germaphobe nature. They've completed two quarterly visits so far and we have yet to see any return of the roaches.

Can't say enough positive things about this company. Friendly, informative, responsive, AND professional. I have dogs, birds, etc. and needed a company I could trust to apply the products safely around my property. They're always willing to come out and "look" at anything you may have of concern (re: termites or pests). Am only sorry that they weren't around 11 years ago when we first moved here and started using another, less professional/trustworthy service that literally ripped us off for over a decade. USE THIS COMPANY--CAN'T DO ANY BETTER THAN THIS.

They were thorough. When they would come out they would take out wasp nests, spider webs, and things like that if they see it's needed. I'm not continuing their service, because when they were here last they only did the front yard. They didn't do the back perimeter at all. They didn't remove any of the wasp nests or spider webs like they said they would. The quality was really good at first, but since they only did the front perimeter where you can see, we have bugs in the back.

They were very professional. The reason I chose a different company was because Nvirotect was higher in price than the one I went with, but I was very impressed by the company and it was a good experience all around.

We had a flea problem develop in our home rather suddenly. I found the company here on Angie's List. I called them along with one other company from the List to discuss services and prices. Seth, the owner called me back directly and was extremely cordial and patient as he discussed his services and answered my questions. He is very hands-on in managing the business process which I like from an owner. They sprayed the interior of my home only. They suggested that I not spend the money to spray the outside lawn as they weren't sure if it would be very effective since our home backed up to a conservation area. They said that the preserve areas in New Tampa were highly infested and while we might see a quick short-term impact, it likely won't be worth the investment due to our location on the preserve the outside would likely again see fleas. I appreciated his honesty and not looking just to make a buck. He suggest interior treatment only to start, get our dogs professionally flea bathed, and then treated with a regular flea inhibitor from our Vet. He thought this would be the best course of action to take and we could check the results and go from there. I agreed as they offer a 10 day free respray guarantee if the problem isn't remediated. Furthermore they fit me in within 24 hours in or to accommodate my work schedule and getting our dogs out of the house for a minimum of 2 hours. Because of there great responsiveness and flexibility we were able to coordinate our appointment with the groomer to coincide with their pest treatment and kill two birds with one stone. They were only there for around 20 minutes for a 1,800sf 2-story home. So I was kind of like wow a $175 for 20 minutes of rather easy manual work, but there price was consistent with the other company I got a quote from. Furthermore it's hard for me as a layman to criticize or judge their business model/price when I don't know their costs for the product, insurance, overhead, etc. So in the end I probably shouldn't look at it as a simple time to price relationship, like say a massage or personal trainer or something of that nature. In the end I was pleased and they will be the first people I call the next time the need arises.

The pest control guy came out once to give us a quote. He then did the work when he came out the second time and he came out the third time to check on the work. The price was kind of high and he charged me over $200. So I mentioned about it to my pest control guy. He said that he would have done the work for $45 for the same thing, but I didn?t think he did that kind of work. They had kept traps for rats in the attic. He then put some stuff up the air conditioning tube since the rats weren?t in the attic. He was a very agreeable fellow. He did the job and took care of our problem. He was clean. He went around and sprayed for the wasps and stuff like that. I would use their services again for this type of work.

Fantastic service. One of the owners came out immediately, found the nest and treated it. He asked me to check it the next day and I found wasps still flying around. He came out the following day and assessed that the nest was dying and it only needed a few more days until the wasps were gone. He was right! I was back cutting brush the next weekend, this time with Epi-Pen available but unnecessary. There was one wasp remaining and I gladly killed him.
