I initially scheduled the service for next week. About an hour later, I received a call stating that they actually had someone who could come today. This worked great for me, so I agreed. Mark showed up promptly and was very courteous. He was very careful to use the shoe booties inside the house. He explained again what he would be doing. As he was working, I began reading the other reviews. Yikes! I was very concerned that a company that was so poorly reviewed was doing work at my house! However, Mark was very thorough and stated that the unit was in great shape. He did say there was quite a bit of debris in the line, but other than that, things looked good. He gave me a few good pointers on filters, etc. I told him that the company shoudl probably look at some of the bad reviews. In fact, I actually asked if he could be the one to come out and do my next 6 month service, which he can.
Description of Work: As some of the other reviewers stated, I received a call where Morgan Air was selling a service package with duct sanitizing for $59.95. This price included 2 services - one now and one in 6 months. The coils were vacuumed, line cleared, and full system inspected inside and out.

I think they're awful. I recently bought an air conditioner from them and I paid like 7000 dollars. They talked me into an air conditioner that was a higher tonnage than what I needed and then they came back six months later and said that I needed more vents in my house so that has caused me another 12,000 dollars and the original cost was 7. They were here on time.
Description of Work: For air conditioning in my home, I used Morgan.

I always patiently and politely wait for them to finish their sales spiel. Then I politely decline and answer their "why not" questions. Then I ask them to not call me again. Then, two months later they will call again. The caller is usually equally polite. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE TODAY. After I turned down the offer of service (AGAIN) I answered the 'why not' question with "I dont feel its needed at this time. Please remove me from your calling list." The caller then proceeded to closing salutations (standard end of call stuff) but did not mention my request to be removed from the calling list. So, I asked again to be removed from the calling list and her SNARKY reply was "I heard you the first time" and then she HUNG UP ON ME. As if it isn't rude enough to COLD CALL me against my will, this extra rudeness absolutely will prevent me or anyone I know from doing business with them. EVER. I will be reporting them for spam if they call me again.
Description of Work: This company repeatedly calls me trying to sell air conditioning 'cleaning' which we were suckered into a year or two ago, but that's a different story...

When the A/C tech shows up in a mini-van, with clean fingernails and a pressed shirt, beware. The guy they sent out probably has never done a good day's work in his life.
Description of Work: Just bought a new house. A/C was running constantly, called Home warranty company and they sent this company. Ian arrived, spent 5 minutes looking in my attic at the air handler, never went outside to examine the air compressor or to measure the freon levels. He spent the next hour attempting to convince me that because my air handler was a 2 ton unit and my compressor was a 3.5 ton, they would never work right and I should replace the whole system. His justification for these numbers, after investigating my Rheen unit, was completely wrong. The numbers he used for this arguement are actually a code from Rheem stating the size of the cabinet, not the size of the air handler. It really is a 3 ton air handler. This guy is either an idiot or a con artist in training. Ian also told me how successful he had been in convincing an 86 year old lady to replace her entire HVAC system at a cost of $7K simply because her air ducts needed cleaning. He tried like crazy to convince me to purchase an entirely new a/c system. After he left, my A/C unit would no longer even turn on. I called Lloyds A/C ( an A rated company here). They sent out Rob who showed me that the blower to my air handler had been disconnected. That was the reason why it no longer turned on after Morgan's guy had left. He also found a panel which had been removed from my system and left laying on the attic floor that is a shield to prevent freon from getting to the coils. This would cause the system to freeze up if it had been connected after he left. I fully believe that this 'technician' from Morgan's entire job description is not to make repairs, but to attempt to swindle home owners into buying systems they do not need. The tech they sent was not only incompetent, he disabled my system, either by stupidity or on purpose. I will never know for certain. I contacted the home warranty company and they are going to investigate the claims that have been processed by this company and review their contract with them.

We scheduled a Saturday cleaning of both handlers in our home through a telemarketer. The tech that came out to clean them was on time & friendly. He seemed very knowledgeable and when he told me that one of our handlers had a leak, I trusted it was true... still do. If my experience with them would have ended there, I would have nice things to say overall about Morgan Air. We scheduled for another tech to come out the following week to test where the leak was and I prepaid for the test because the tech offered me a discount to prepay. The following week came & we got a call the day before the service date to confirm - we confirmed. Our 2 hour window was almost over - 15 mins before the end of that 2 hr window, we got a call from the tech who was supposed to be there saying he'd be another 2 hours... we said we'd reschedule. I rescheduled for two weeks later... all of our appointments were on Saturdays because of our work schedule. The date of the rescheduled service, Joe @ the office called to confirm the appointment a half hour into our 2 hr window... it concerned me that he was calling to confirm, but nonetheless, he confirmed that we were on the schedule. I waited & waited... and missed my son's baseball game waiting... finally, 20 minutes after the tech was supposed to be there, I called the office. They said the tech wasn't told he was supposed to come out and that I must have made the appointment too late. I made the appt 2 weeks prior, so this really made me mad. I told Joe that I needed a full refund for my prepayment and that I would find another company that would be more respectful of my schedule. He said he didn't know if they'd do that... the lack of professionalism was unbelievable. It's now 3/24/13 and I have yet to receive my refund of $271 for the prepayment. I called today and they're supposed to get back to me - again.
Description of Work: Two air handlers cleaned & one handler showed a leak - we schedule for tests to be done to find the leak & that's where the bad service started.

They told us that the air handle needed to be replaced. They also told our home warranty company that the coils were extremely dirty and it had been not maintained and the home warranty denied our claim. We called another heating and air company for a second opinion. They said that the coils were in great shape and they replaced the thermostat and the air conditioning system worked perfectly fine after the repair. This is the second time the home warranty company sent them out and that we were dissatisfied with their services.
Description of Work: Their services were provided through a home warranty. Our thermostat had been turned off all the way and the air conditioner wasn't coming on at all.

Since the maintenance was performed damage has occurred in the second apartment. Water has collected in the drip pan of the unit and overflowed onto the ceiling, plenum, walls, and carpeting. There is a light located on the ceiling, below the AC unit, and the globe of this fixture was filled with water. This apartment is unoccupied, so I did not become aware of the problem until today - September 5, 2012. When I called Morgan Air to explain the situation and the damage I was upset and expressed it to them. They became very defensive and said that they would send someone to look at the unit, but they are not responsible for any damages. The AC unit was installed in December 2010 by Gator Mechanical ( another Angies List provider ) and ran perfectly for over eighteen months. Morgan Air Conditioning is the only company to interact with the unit since the installation less than two months ago. When I called Morgan Air Conditioning and explained the problem and that I wanted them to send someone out to fix the problem ASAP they said okay, so I hung up the phone. A minute later the phone rang and the representative told me that he did not like being hung up on and that they would not be sending someone out due to my 'attitude'. He then started a five minute ramble denying any responsibility for any damage. Rather than setting a time for someone to come and fix the problem which is what I asked for - he talked on and on about a situation with which he is unacquainted. So, in exasperation, I hung up the phone again. Morgan Air Conditioning has not called back to apologize for their unprofessional attitude, or set a date and time to fix the unit. At this point I feel compelled to call a lawyer, but I would prefer that Angies List to be a mediator before it comes to that.
Description of Work: Morgan Air Conditioning came to my residence and perform maintenance on two AC systems on July 18, 2012. The serviceman was very professional and alerted me to a capacitor on the system in my apartment which was below spec - suggesting that it should be replaced. The second system is in another apartment and nothing was pointed out as being a problem.

Response from Morgan Air Conditioning Inc
To whom it concerns, For starters, this customer was very rude. When he called in and yelled at me explaining the problem he ended his rant in abruptly hanging up the phone on me. When I called him back I did in fact let him know that if that is the way he was going to treat our employees that I WILL not send anyone out to his home. With that said he continued to have very nasty attitude. None the less I explained to him that we were out there close to 2 months ago and we are not responsible for problems that happened that long after. As I was explaining these things to him I noticed that he had just hung up the phone on me. Morgan AC or any contractor for that matter is not responsible for problems that happen well after we worked on a piece of equipment. Just because we serviced a machine it does not give a home owner a warranty on the machine for ever and ever from our company. If something would have happened within 2 weeks that would be a bit different, but 2 months is absurd. We will not cover any damages done to the home or any repairs on the system. If the homeowner would like us to come back put and check the until we will be glad to do so at no charge for the service call. Josue Cabrera

I went to the home show and purchased 4 cleanings from Morgan sales rep Joe. The tech came out to the house did a great job cleaning my unit. After cleaning the unit, the tech reported we had a freon leak. The air conditioning was working fine prior to any work being done. A specialist was called in to determine where the leak was. After pressuring the A/C unit, I had a serious and DANGEROUS freon leak in my A coil. The A coil was putting freon directly into the air we were breathing. I was told I had 2 options; one repair the leak with a used col ,if one was available, for ablout $4,000.00 or replace the entire unit for $7,000.00I was NOT a member of Angies list at this time. I did ask if the were rated. The tech replied A plus on Angies list and BBB. I believed him. I needed to finance the replacement cost. I was told 12 months with 0 interest if I qualified for a promotion. I was told we were NOT applying for a credit card. That I would recieve a card but it could not be used as a credit card. 7/3/12 a credit card should up with a high credit limit. We were 24 hours without whole house AC Morgan provided a portable 10,000 BTU unit for a 2100 square foot house. The portable unit leaked on my laminated floors. When I discoved the leak, it took 10 large bath towels to dry up the mess. I reported the problem and was told by the tech they knew they had a unit that leaked. Minor trash was left in my garage. Not what I consider professionalMorgan recovered several pounds of freon which I was not credited for. Freon I was told was about $67.00 per pound 8/16/2012 Seven weeks after the AC was installed, the code violations were finally corrected. County inspector due the next day. During the corrective action the technician sanitzed the return air duct. I asked for the filter to be changed because I could not find it. The tech ended up coming back late in the evening because he had to pick up the filter frame and filter. None was installed initially so my AC ran for 7 weeks without a filter. The Tech was great, communication with Morgans higher authority representative was poor. I requested a reduction in service cost based on cost comparison, Angie's review and actual work completed over time and was denied. I have had numerous contacts with Mr Cabrera, this is the most recent: Mr. Cabrera, I contracted services from Morgan air based on the first impressions of 3 people. Two of the people worked at the home show in St Pete The third person was the person who did my first of four service call purchased at the home show. With that faith and trust in mind and your people telling me I just happen to have a "health risk" leaking Freon into my air duct, I chose Morgan to replace my AC and furnace. As stated previously my costs were: Home show service agreement $ 59.00 Cost of Freon $ 330.00 Financed cost for replacement unit $6791.00 Total cost to Morgan $7180.00 Since our last communication Morgan air scheduled to repair the code violations Thursday August 16, 2012.The technician arrived and corrected the electrical issue as well as sealing the ducts. While the technician was here, I asked him what sanitizing the ducts was because I was supposed to have it done. He showed me the machine. The installers never sanitized the ducts as they should have. The technician did so today. I also asked him were my furnace filter was. The unit was installed 7 weeks ago and the" installers" told me it was in the same place. When I looked there was no filter. The technician confirmed, but said it should not be in the bottom of the furnace, where the old one was. The technician did say it should be in the house, in the return air grill. We looked together. Needless to say it was never installed. The tech made some phone calls and one should be installed sometime this afternoon. The county inspector is due tomorrow Friday August 17, 2012 Now getting back to your response to me. You stated " To reiterate, in your situation with a gas furnace specifically it is not worth spending the extra money in seerage as you would not get a duel stage compressor or many of the other features and benefits that higher efficiency systems come with." I disagree 100% based on; Better seerage should mean better efficiency of electricity, less per month for me. Angie's list praised Irena's especially when compared to yours as far as service Irena's put in the higher more efficient unit for $2,000.00 on the exact square footage of houses Irena's installed the unit with a filter and had it inspected in less than 1 week (Inspection passed) Irena's charged $2000.00 less than Morgan for a more efficient unit Both of us received the $500.00 TECO Gas rebate plus my neighbor got an electrical rebate for the better seerage. Based on this information I believe your company did not do me fair business.I am requesting for resolution, a refund of $1,000.00 (half of what I believe to have been over billed) and my service plan be upgraded from the deluxe to the optimum If you would honor my request, I will edit my comments on Angie's list and the BBB and consider us to have a fair business transaction. I understand you are in business to make money, but I do believe I was taken advantage of and I would like to settle this between us. In regards to the pricing difference, Iernas is not even close to the same scale of company that we are. They do not offer near the amount of service as well as guarantees that we do. I understand that at this point all that you see is the difference in price but you have to consider that this is not a washing machine that is plug and play. These systems are custom built for the home they are going into. To reiterate, in your situation with a gas furnace specifically it is not worth spending the extra money in seerage as you would not get a duel stage compressor or many of the other features and benefits that higher efficiency systems come with.I hope this gives you a little bit of piece of mind but please understand that there are many companies that lower their margins to NO profit and what ends up happening is those companies can not afford to stay in business or simply wont come back out to the customers home when something goes wrong....This is not a myth, this is 20 years of experience and market knowledge speaking. I can give you 5 companies off the top of my head that are 20-30 percent more expensive than us that offer inferior brand of equipment. We are a company in business to make money. We do not rip people off . Our prices are formed by extensive market research as well as figured by the basic cost of doing business. Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.Thank you and I hope this does put your mind at ease. Josue Cabrera This was his response August 15, 2012 Member, I have tried to answer all of your questions in a respectful manner. We appreciate the business but do not take well to threats. You go ahead and report to whatever agency you want. We will not refund any amount. Once again, Iernas is not even close to the same scale of company that we are, with that said we have much different operating cost as well as margins. We will be in business in 15 years unlike a lot of companies selling HVAC at prices leaving no margin to operate in the future. Thank you for your business Josue Cabrera

They did not properly size my home to inform me on the size of the unit that I needed. They sold me too big of a unit, which is causing the air pressure to not be correct. They told me to fix this problem, it would cost me another $6000. To resolve the issue, they need to put in a 4 ton unit instead of the one they sold me which is 5 ton. They still need to put one more UV light in too.
Description of Work: They replaced my air handler and installed my ac unit outside. They also were supposed to put in two UV lights. I paid for two and they only put in one, which someone had to point out to me.

Tech arrived on time. Performed cleaning of unit, checked coolant levels AND then told us that our a/c system was faulty - ducts not sealed, poor duct configuration (inefficient). Said we needed a $399 visit by their specialist. WHAT?!!! The house was just 2 years old!! We said we'd think aobut it and called another a/c guy we'd used before (another $50 charge). He said that was bunk. So again a loss leader ($59 for two tune ups) not necessarily to gain a new customer but to creat an opportunity to create a ficticous problem. Take their tune up but dismiss any other concerns they may bring up.

They were superior. They were the best company I've had here and I've tried four. This was a free service but the guy found something. The air conditioning people that installed my unit and had been servicing had messed it, so he replaced it. It was a part that he thought was a $134 but when he actually looked it up on the book it was $150. Since he had already quoted me $134, that's what he charged me.

There was initially a problem with the appointment as the technician failed to show at the prescribed time. When we explained to Morgan AC that we couldn't wait all day they cancelled our appointment. The next day the technician called and said he will be at our house in 30 min, I explained his company had cancelled the appt the previous day and he stated his record shows they rescheduled. I went ahead and let him show up and perform the maintenance. I stayed with the tech throughout the process. When the tech took apart my outside condenser he had removed the fan assembly and set it on the ground, propped up against the condenser. While he was inspecting the unit the fan fell over and landed fan blades down on the rocky ground. I didn't think much of it at the time. The technician finished and made his recommendations which was only that I was missing some freon and probably have a leak somewhere so he recommended a leak test. I told him I'd consider the test and let him know on a later date. Within 30 days of the maintenance, my fan separated from the motor and tore up the inside of my unit, effectively destroying it beyond repair. I called Morgan AC and explained what happend and they sent the tech back out. The tech took the system apart, took some pictures and departed. He left my system in pieces. I called Morgan AC again and asked what their plan was and they stated this was not their fault and there was nothing they were going to do. I asked to speak with the owner and I ended up speaking to Josh the general manager. He claimed it was a manufacturing flaw that caused the fan to be unbalanced and ultimately break apart. I stated if the fan was unbalanced it was because his tech mishandled it and Let it fall to the ground possibly bending a blade. Josh proceeded to yell at me, talk down to me and state I do not know the first thing about an AC unit. At this time Morgan AC has refused to accept any responsibility for their actions. I have had 3 estimates and it's going to cost me $6,000 to have a new system installed. Stay away from this company they are crooks!! Czech with the BBB as well, they have had multiple complaints against them in the last month, don't just take my word for it, visit the site and see for yourself.
Description of Work: I hired Morgan AC to perform a checkup on my home central AC. I originally paid $59 for this service. The technician examined my entire system, performed a cleaning of the outside unit and sprayed a cleaning agent into my return.

Last July (2011) Morgan A/C was running an Angie's List special of two A/C maintenance services for the price of one. At the time they were an A rated company, so I purchased the service and the technician came out. After inspection I was told there was most likely a leak in the upstairs A/C system and a leak inspection would cost $330.95, which would apply towards the repair or replacement. I paid; the leak was detected, and I was told it was in a location where the unit was not repairable. The technician also said the upstairs A/C system was too small to handle the space, and the ductwork was not adequate. The estimate to replace the A/C and repair the ductwork was $9248.00. I opted not to do the work. On March 13th or 14th of this year, Morgan A/C called and said they still owed me the second of the two maintenance services I had paid for, so an appointment was set up for March 16th. The technician was running late that day so he called. We agreed to cancel and reschedule for the next morning (Saturday). Saturday morning the technician called to say he was sick, and we rescheduled again for Monday. When he finally came on Monday (after another phone call that he was running late), he did the maintenance, told me there was a leak, and asked if I would like to pay for a leak detection. I replied we'd had a leak detection test done last year and were told it was not repairable; he responded that A/C units could always be repaired and that there was never a circumstance where they could not. So I paid $271.00 for another leak detection test (no explanation for the discrepancy in costs between last year's test and this year's). He found the leak, and called the supplier. The supplier told him he didn't have the part needed in stock, and gave the technician a 24 hour window to provide pricing and information. The technician then set up an appointment to return the next day at 4 pm, and asked that my husband also be here (as an aside, when a technician tells me this, the usual result is that the bill is going to be very expensive). It was fortunate that my husband did not leave work early to be here at the specified time because again, the technician was delayed and did not arrive until 6 pm. When he finally arrived, he showed my husband the problems with the system and then came in to discuss the cost of the repair. After 20 minutes of talking about how great a company Morgan A/C is and how they stand behind their products and services, he still had not told my husband and me the cost of the repair. I asked him to cut to the chase and give us the cost, and he refused, saying he had to go through his entire spiel first (no, he didn't actually say the word "spiel"). At this point we were tired, we were hungry, and we were frustrated, so I told him I was leaving the room if he didn't tell me the cost with the next five words out of his mouth. He refused again, so I left him to talk to my husband. After a few more minutes, I heard my husband ask him again the cost, and again he refused, at which point my husband showed him the door. I wanted to calm down before calling the company with my complaint, so I waited a full week. Today I called and spoke to Josh, the General Manager. Frankly, I am shocked at how poorly I was treated. Josh was condescending and rude. He told me technicians are required to go through all the warranty and company information before providing the cost estimate because customers need to fully understand what they are paying for and most companies won't take the time to explain what's in the fine print. He also intimated most customers aren't savvy enough to know what they are paying for. He never came up with a satisfactory answer on why they would flat out refuse to give an estimate unless they have gone through all the hooey first, though. When we first began our conversation, he said he was pulling my file to look through it; later in the conversation when I asked if he would tell me what the repair cost would be, Josh told me he didn't have that information available. He eventually did offer to refund me the $271.00 for this visit, but only if I would agree not to write a bad review on his company on Angie's List. As this review should show, I don't deal well with blackmail threats. I am pretty sure he has no intention of refunding me my money, however. Not only would I never, ever do business with this company again, I plan on making it a point of telling everyone I know what poor service they provided.
Description of Work: Morgan A/C conducted a maintenance service and check on my two A/C units and did two separate leak detection testson the same unit; one in July of 2011 and another one in March 2012.

They were on Angie?s list and that?s why I decided to use them. They were very polite. They were on time. They didn?t leave the boxes behind. They had a guy come who was EPA certified. He actually contacted the county inspector, who came and inspected it. Everything?s going well. I was impressed with their professionalism. I would use them in the future.

They did not come out to take measurements at all. They brought out a huge HVAC system by Bryant. My house is 900 square feet but the man who came out kept saying it would service 9000 square feet . They ended up installing it and I complained about the size and the noise which was horrendous. There has been an opening left where rodents are now entering my house for the first time. I can hear them running around at 2:30 or 3 o'clock in the morning. They said they would send someone out to take care of it for me. He made some kind of adjustment but it didn't help the rodent situation at all. It quieted the noise down very moderately but it is still bad. When I called them back again, the person I spoke to said just to turn it off if it bothers me! I want them to remove this system from my home and I want my money back.
Description of Work: They called me to ask if I could afford to pay $5000 for a HVAC system. (I don't know where they got my number from.) I told them I probably could.

Response from Morgan Air Conditioning Inc
This letter is in response to the complaint made by [member]. We have done everything we possibly can to address all of [member] complaints and concerns. We have been back out there a plethora of times with 3rd party technicians confirming that the installation was done properly and is functioning to the manufacturers specifications. We have tried to explain to her that the cooling and heating capacity (or tonnage) of the unit is the appropriate size for the home. We determined that sizing information by doing a heat load calculation on her home. The physical size (which is what [member] seems to have a problem with) is absolutely irrelevant in what determines the appropriate capacity for her home. *Note – the physical sizes of HVAC systems are going to get bigger throughout time because of the fact; that is partly how they are designed to run more efficient. We have spoken to her son and he tells us that we have done everything we possibly can and is satisfied with the work. He also warns us that his mother [member] can sometimes get fixed on something and be impossible to work with. I fear that this is what has happened in this matter. We can not remove the unit and have done everything we possibly can to assist [member] with her needs. Please let us know if there is anything we can do. Thank you Morgan AC

Morgan AC called us and offered to service our 2 units at a discounted rate. When the guy came out to service the ac he explained that our upstairs unit had mold growing on the coils and that the suction line was restricted. He left us a quote for installing a uv light and transformer for $1014.00 all the way up to $2534.00 for other upgrades. We opted not have the light installed since we wanted to comparison shop. Four days later we came downstairs and noticed that the entire dining room was flooded where the air handler was. I called the service company and was told by the manager (summarized) that it was our fault that the room was flooded since we did not follow the technicians recommendations (even though the unit that needed service was upstairs- not the downstairs unit that flooded the dining room). I called several other service companies and was told that the flooding occurred because the drain valve was clogged which the companies explained was a routine service item. In our case, the line must not have been cleaned. It is disappointing to hear that Morgan AC blamed us for the damage when we put our trust into their company. A UV light would not have unclogged the drain- this should have been done by the company. We now have over $1000 worth of damage- sheet rock, carpet, padding, etc. The manager at Morgan AC refused to let me speak with Brainard Morgan, the owner of the company. The manager said it was his responsibility to keep complaint calls away from the owner. As a small business owner I would definitely want to know if a customer had a serious complaint- especially in one that resulted in property damage. Update- 2 days ago Service America came to our home to make any needed repairs. What they discovered was that insulation was wrapped around the coils which caused the coils to sweat. The water then dripped down and caused the flooding. In no way would have any of the suggested changes prevented the water damage. The technician should have noticed the insulation on the coils and removed it. My advice- do not use Morgan AC as they do not stand behind their work.
Description of Work: The technician came to our home and did basic air conditioning service which should be done twice per year. He cleaned the exterior coils, checked the safety switch, checked the lines, and added a few pounds of Puron.

They serviced it, but also did testing to make sure everything would be working fine for the future so I don't have to keep calling them. I like the fact that I called them and they were able to get me an appointment right away because my air wasn't working. This was during our cold spell so I was thankful they got it fixed before it got cold at night.
Description of Work: My A/C wasn't working. They came out to do a maintenance review. They cleaned it out and got it to work again.

The technician arrived on time and performed the annual servicing of the central air/heating unit. He was polite and professional. I have been using Morgan Air Conditioning since 2006 and used them in May 2009 to replace the old unit with an Energy Star model - my electric bill dropped about 25% after the new unit was installed. This was the first time that the new unit was serviced - it did not require any follow-up work after the initial installation a year ago. I am very satisfied with their quality of service and would not hesitate to recommend them.

our 1995 2.5 ton Central Air conditioner had enough and died suddenly on March 20th, I called Morgan Air Conditioning, the company I had been using for the last few years, to see what was wrong, it was Saturday morning and someone was there by 1:30pm and diagnosed the problem, he said he could fix it but the bottom was rusting our and he would be back to fix it again before the Summer was out, it was not an efficient system and I knew it was time to replace it, Morgan Air had been keeping it alive until I was ready to replace it, Brainard Morgan, the owner came out at my request on Tuesday to discuss replacement options, after he measured, inspected the duct work and vents, he gave me what he thought were 3 good options I might look over. Having experienced the quality of his work in the past I trusted his professional opinion and made my decision, to upgrade from a 2.5 ton to a 3 ton unit with a 15 seer rating(qualifying me for a $1500.00 tax credit). His Crew arrived promptly at the appointed time and worked while my wife and I were at work. The Job took all day Thursday the 25th and 1/2 a day on the 26th of March. We arrived home to a clean vacuumed House with an efficient quiet new air Conditioner, They also installed a second return air vent in a different part of the house at no extra cost. Brainard, the owner felt it would make a big difference and he wanted us to be happy, We were! I did check around on the price and while it was not the lowest, Morgan Air has proven to me time and time again they do quality professional work. The following Tuesday his crew met the City inspector at our house. Needless to say it Passed. I have recommended Morgan Air to family and friends in the past and no one has ever been sorry they have called him.
