Description of Work: Ran a Scam. Service call for HVAC - reset humidistat. Seasonal renters on premises. Frank - Tech told renters the system was full of mold and that it was toxic and hazardous for them to remain. He told them they should leave as it needed to be remediated right away - told them cost of several thousand to clean and ~$7000 to replace the system. Frank and Morgan KNEW these were renters and that I (owner) was overseas and dealing with everything on a credit card. Frank with Morgan caused a panic with the seasonal renters who said they were concerned for their health, etc. My income (rent) and property reputation was in jeopardy. Spoke to one of the Morgan owners, Josue, who was completely unprofessional. He was rude and belligerent not to mention disdainful of disregarding the account instructions to communicate details only to me and keep things high level with the renters. He was unapologetic about the state of panic his tech caused with my renters. He was unapologetic that he was supposed to call or e-mail me immediately if they found any problems and even though his tech, Frank, called him and reported, he (Josue) chose not to notify me of anything. I in fact notified them 2 hours later AFTER I received a panic email and phone message from the renters! Josue also told me he was looking at pictures sent from Frank's phone and gave me a quote for service on the following Monday. Then he changed quote to ~$250 more and gave same numbers for system replacement (which was completely un-necessary). The next morning I documented everything in writing to Josue by email - challenged him, requested a written diagnosis and an explanation of exactly what his tech found, where and how (unit fully contained). I forwarded him the e-mails from my renter and told him I held them accountable for the entire situation being mishandled, etc. Upon my challenge he cancelled the service call for the following Monday stating that he was no longer 'comfortable' doing the remediation service. This was a blessing in truth - I called HONEST A/C for a 2nd opinion and service etc. They went out the same day and did a full inspection and found only dust and dirt which they fully cleaned as part of the service and 2nd opinion fee. When I later asked the renter if Morgan had been taking photos they told me NO and they told me that they shadowed him every moment because of what he was telling them. Morgan completely scammed me and when I challenged them, held them accountable, and demanded something in writing, etc., they backed out faster than you can snap your fingers. BUYER BEWARE. Also, there are over 61 unresolved complaints filed against this company - this branch location in particular ranging all over the place - including soliciting business and poor service. Morgan is DISREPUTABLE.

Description of Work: Tech Chris was very polite and professional, with the AC cleaning however his Company is not above board and tried to sell me an entire AC unit and handler by telling me my handler coil was leaking. They said the coil wasn't warrantied because it was never registered when it was put in 3 years ago by another comapny. THAT turned out to be false because Goodman has a minimum 5 year warranty if not registered and a 10 year warranty if registered. I had 3 other AC companies confirm this the next day and cancelled the contract with Morgan Air immediately before they were to bill me $8500 for a new AC unit and ducts. They charged me $271 for a leak detection test which would have required their Tech Mark and Chris to use a special tedetction device that uses sound beeps. That never occured. They took a picture with their cell phones to show me rust on the coil. As per Chris, supposedly Included in this price was addition of refirgerant to the Handler because they said the coil was leaking. But Mark another rep said that by law they couldn't fill it until it was repaired and since it wasn't warrantied they would add the cost that I paid for the leak detection to the new unit. Then I spoke to the owner to dispute the leak detection fee and he said that cost included the refrigerant. He said his tech added refriferant. I am in the process now of dispiuting the charge with me credit company. Since having Morgan Air I hired Progressive Air Systems and they not only got me the warrantied coil from Goodman but they charged me $497 to install it and add 1lbs of refrigerant (which Morgan said they topped off the suystem with the leak detection). If they did a few days earlier Progressive would not have had to add so much refrigerant. The Company needs to train their reps all the same so that they are on the same page.
