Called Boyte, got a person right away, very helpful and friendly, set an appointment for the next morning between 8:15 & 8:30. At EXACTLY 8:15, Bob D. showed up, looked at the problem, knew exactly what it was and what needed to be done. He gave me an estimate of $250, and I agreed. The pipe was inside a concrete block wall, and was an old galvanized steel pipe that had rusted. Before starting, he warned me that they did not do concrete repair, but since I am very handy (but accident prone), I told him to go ahead, and I would fix the concrete blocks later. He had to break through two blocks to get to the pipe, after which, he proceeded to replace the piping in the wall. He returned inside and rerouted the under the sink plumbing (making lots more room for stuff), then snaked the whole drain all the way to the street, and tested everything. The drain was amazing! He then cleaned up the mess, and refused to let me help... I will definitely use Boyte in the future.

I was working with several other trades in my kitchen, and they were able to schedule their work around that. Wyatt performed all work as required in a couple of hours. He rearranged the plumbing so we had more room under the sink.

I called, got a quote from them, and set up a date to have them install a cast iron tub. Subsequently, I got a call from the owner who yelled at us because he said they don't install cast iron tubs because they re too heavy, and he'll lose money on the job at the price we were quoted. We said we had no way of knowing that since one of his employees didn't point that out to us when we scheduled. The owner had high enough integrity that he went through with the job anyway. However, he had a bit of a grumpy attitude throughout the job, didn't properly secure the tub, and left the water knob crooked. Nevertheless, I do appreciate his integrity that he stuck to the price we were quoted.

I had two estimates for this job. The other estimate was $2,495. I was concerned about Boyte's low estimate. I called the company and spoke with Dave. I asked him to come out and take a look to be sure that is a correct estimate. I wanted to be sure it was a fair price. He declined and said "Since you have it in writting, I'll stick to it." This shows great integrity. The work was completed in one day. It was an excellent job and my plumbing works perfectly. I can't say enough good things.

Boyte came to the house exactly at the scheduled time (actually five minutes early) and very quickly and professionally completed repaired our sewage pipe. The young man that came out was courteous, respectful and efficient. At one point as I was writing the payment check I asked if he would like to come into our foyer area to wait and he refused because he ''may have some dirt on his shoes'' . Thoughtful of him. Boyte did and excellent overall job and was priced fairly.

Terry arrived promptly at the time promised. Was pleasant and worked quickly. He removed the old toilet and left everything very clean.

THEY CAME OUT TO THE HOME AND DID NOT GIVE AN UP FRONT ESTIMATE. HE WAS IN HIS TRUCK FOR AN HOUR BEFORE HE CAME IN TO FIX THE ISSUES AND I HAD TO GO OUT AND SEE WHAT WAS GOING ON. I TOLD HIM THERE WAS AIR IN THE PIPES AND HE SAID NO ANSWER. STARTED WORKING ON THE LEAKS AND OUTSIDE FAUCET AND HE DID FIX THOSE UP TO PAR. I ASKED HIM TO REPLACE GASKET ON KITCHEN SINK, BUT HE COULD NOT GET IT APART. HE THEN WENT OUT TO HIS TRUCK AND GOT THE BILL READY AND ON THE BILL WAS A CHARGE FOR THE HOUR HE WAS SITTING IN HIS TRUCK.

Being a single girl renovating my 1920's bungalow alone, I have had a very hard time finding reliable and honest tradesmen. I was extremely happy to have found the Boyte team. Boyte Plumbing did a fantastic job at a great price. They were prompt, courteous, and thorough. They responded immediately to my calls, gave a free estimate, and did not charge extra for the ''incidentals'' they came across along the way. I couldn't say enough good things about them in the space provided. Dave, the owner, came by himself the last day to check the work and make sure I was happy with it. If you want a fantastic job done at a honest price, look no further you have found your team.

ARRIVED PROMPTLY WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. HAD TO SNAKE DOWN FROM THE ROOF VENT.

BOYTE SENT SOMEONE OUT WITHIN THREE HOURS, AND APOLOGIZED THAT THEY COULDN'T COME IMMEDIATELY. THE TECHNICIAN ARRIVED WHEN HE SAID HE WOULD. THE REPAIR WAS COMPLETED QUICKLY, WELL, AND AT A FAIR PRICE COMPARED TO OTHER PLUMBING JOBS.

A PREVIOUS PLUMBER MISDIAGNOSED A FOUL SMELL COMING FROM MY WATER HEATER AS A BAD ANOID TUBE. THAT PLUMBER SAID IT WOULD BE VERY EXPENSIVE TO FIX AND RECOMMENDED BUYING A NEW WATER HEATER. I CALLED BOYTE PLUMBING TO DO THE INSTALL BECAUSE I HAD A GOOD PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE WITH BOYTE. AS THE PLUMBER WAS STARTING TO EXAMINE THE OLD WATER HEATER, HE NOTICED THAT THE FOUL SMELL WAS NOT A BAD ANOID TUBE BUT THAT I HAD A BAD ELECTRICAL TIMER AND THAT MY PROBLEMS WERE ELECTRICAL IN NATURE, NOT PLUMBING. I WILL ALWAYS USE BOYTE IN THE FUTURE.

THIS COMPANY IS ALWAYS VERY RESPONSIVE, AND THEY EVEN CAME EARLY WHEN THEY HAD A CANCELLATION.

I DO WISH THAT I HAD STAYED WITH DOUBLE HANDLES BECAUSE REPLACING THEM WITH A SINGLE HANDLE REQUIRED THAT I REPLACE A LARGE AREA OF TILE IN THE SHOWER STALL.

THEY CAME OUT THE MORNING I CALLED, WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL, REPAIRED THE PIPE (AND UPGRADED THE CONNECTION), AND WERE REASONABLY PRICED.

WYATT, WHO PREFORMED THE WORK, WAS FRIENDLY AND PROFESSIONAL. APPOINTMENT SCHEDULER WAS CURT WHEN SCHEDULING RETURN VIST AFTER TILE WORK WAS COMPLETED.

DAVE, THE OWNER, IS A VERY NICE PERSON TO DEAL WITH. HE ACCOMODATES SCHEDULING TO THE CUSTOMERS' CONVENIENCE AND MAKES SURE THAT THE JOB IS DONE RIGHT. OF THE VARIOUS PLUMBING COMPANIES RECOMMENDED BY ANGIE'S LIST, BOYTE PLUMBING HAS BEEN THE MOST REASONABLE, PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL AND COMPETENT. I RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE WHO WANTS A QUALITY JOB DONE AT A REASONABLE PRICE. I WOULD RATE THEM AN "A" COMPANY.

THEY WERE EXTREMELY FAST IN COMING TO DO THE WORK. NO FRILLS AND DOWN TO BUSINESS. THE WORK WAS DONE QUICKLY, YET EFFICIENTLY. GOOD WORK AT A FAIR PRICE.

The technician was very polite, prompt and efficiant. He wasted no time to get the job done.

I CALLED THEM AT AROUND 8:30 THIS MORNING AND THEY WERE ABLE TO HAVE A PERSON AT MY HOUSE BY 12:20. THE PLUMBER CALLED IN ADVANCE AS REQUESTED AND WAS PUNCTUAL.

I WAS TOLD THIS WORK WOULD BE COMPLETED IN ONE DAY SO I TOOK A DAY OF VACATION BUT IT TOOK 4 ADDITIONAL VISITS. SOME REPAIRS WERE SATISFACTORY BUT BOTH THE LEAKING KNOB AND THE TOILET FILLER HAD TO BE FIXED TWICE. AFTER THE SECOND REPAIR TO THE TOILET, I DISCOVERED TWO INCHES OF WATER LEAKING OUT FROM THE FLOOR BASE INTO THE CARPET IN THE BATH AND ADJOINING BEDROOM. THAT WAS THE LAST STRAW: I REFUSED TO ALLOW THEM BACK INTO MY HOUSE TO REPAIR IT A THIRD TIME. I WOULD NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

THEY WILL BE THE FIRST COMPANY WE CALL NEXT TIME AND THE FIRST WE WILL RECOMMEND.

WE HAD A PLUMBING STOPPAGE THE DAY WE RETURNED FROM CHRISTMAS VACATION-- ON A SATURDAY, OF COURSE. WE CALLED BOYTE PLUMBING AT 9:15 A.M., RECEIVED A RETURN CALL AT 9:30 A.M., AND GOT A SERVICE WINDOW OF 11:30-12:30. DAVE ARRIVED AT 11:30. HE WAS FAST, EFFICIENT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, POLITE AND FRIENDLY. I WILL DEFINITELY USE BOYTE PLUMBING NEXT TIME. ( THIS IS MY SECOND GOOD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM).

I HAVE HAD GOOD WORK FROM BOYTE BEFORE, BUT THE PERSON SENT TO DO THIS JOB WAS A DISASTER. THE SHOWER PAN WAS INSTALLED WRONG (MY TILING PERSON REMOVED AND REINSTALLED CORRECTLY) AND THE BATHTUB VALVE LEAKED THE FIRST TIME WE USED IT, CAUSING WATER DAMAGE TO THE CEILING OF THE KITCHEN DOWNSTAIRS!
