Actually used this provider for 4 years until I moved away from their service area. Extremely reliable, professional, friendly and respectful. Very reasonably priced. Tailored the work to be done on our acre+ property so lawn was always maintained in the growing season and effort was directed to other areas when the lawn did not need the scheduled trim. Always available for special requests, again always at a reasonable price. High praise to a well run business.

It took a while to hear from the company (probably because of the special), but when they came they were very professional and I was pleased with the service.

It took a while to connect but when the work was done everything was satisfactory. The job was not an extremly long or difficult.

I've been using Rick's services for a few months now, and everything has been great. His price is $30 cheaper than my previous landscaping company, he does the same high-quality work, and he goes above and beyond by doing little extras. Specifically, he'll bring up my garbage cans if they're still out after the pick up, and he's taken it upon himself to trim a shrub into a beautiful diamond shape as well as chopping up and removing a fallen tree. What's more is that Rick and his crew are very quiet when they do the work because I usually sleep right through their early morning visits, and he's completely reliable in that he consistently arrives at the same time each which unlike the previous companies that have worked for me. Ultimately, it's been a pleasure working Rick, and I can't wait to see what other steps he's going to take in order to beautify my property.

I actually had them stay a little longer to do some more. They did what they were supposed to and it was fine. Wed really wanted a good price and they were fine. The owner was very nice, help me out with what to cut and what not to cut. They were quick, they were efficient, they cleaned everything up. He wasn't supposed to do till later on, but they had some when he called me and filled me in which was great.

They were great. Showed up when scheduled, very pleasant crew to deal with who put in extra effort to get the job done right.

Our property is in the process of being cleared to make improvements in the landscaping and ease of upkeep. Our goal was to clear as much debris as possible. The workers were extremely hardworking and were dedicated to doing the job as we requested. We have used the company in the past and have always had a pleasant experience. We are definitely hoping to work with them in the future.

Started as six hours work for $149. After consulting on the job sight the project grew to over two thousand dollars. They supplied new plants, cut down plants, trimmed trees and provided stones in addition to the labor for the project. It turned out beautiful.

I am not going to give a good reference for him since I fired them for the damage they did to the hedges. I had them earlier too and that job was well done and that is why I called them again. In fact, I specifically told them what I wanted them to do with the bushes and they messed it up. The pricing was also not commensurate with the services they did.

Having never paid someone to maintain my yard, I am pleased with the work thus far Rick and his crew have provided. A crew of at least three have been out multiple times to cut and edge the yard as well as trim the hedge that goes around my more than 1.25 acre property. Rick is very personable and quick to respond to any questions or concerns. Would definitely recommend.

We hired Elite Cuts a few months back to cut our lawn. They have been great! They are out here every week and keep the lawn looking nice. They also trimmed back over grown bushes and our huge ficus hedge at a reasonable price. I would highly recommend Rick and his crew!

Did a good job, Had quite a few other jobs due to the offer, so couldn't come back for addl work. Did offer another contractor, who did call me. Did not have time to use. Moved from home.

I contacted Rick after all the great reviews I read on Angies List. And they weren't wrong..we just bought a home that needed a huge clean up. I knew it was going to be expensive, so of course i shopped around, researching ( my favorite thing to do) reviews and past work. I had narrowed it down to 3 companies who I had come out and walk the property with me. I know my plants and know what I want, I had even created a spreadsheet for the quote. After meeting and seeing past jobs, I decided on Elite landscaping. They weren't the lowest but were very still priced well. Another very important aspect besides quality of work, is their work ethic, they showed up on time, were always very polite, and worked HARD. Rick knew I had a vision and he made sure we walked through the job as work was being done. Rick made some great suggestions, that fit right into my vision! They came in worked hard and I couldn't be happier with the results. Thank you Rick!

It's going very well! We hired Elite to take care of the yard for my in-laws because of the great reviews I read through Angie's List. I met up with Rick to get an estimate on the yard. He spent a good 30 minutes with me and my mother-in-law going over what needs to be taken care of immediately and what we can take care of later on. He gave us a great price for monthly yard maintenance ($80), which is totally reasonable for the size of the yard and all the foliage within it. He worked out a day to come out that worked with Mom's schedule and has been there every week. Due to erratic summer storms, they have only been late (by a day) once and were unable to finish once (due to torrential downpour). Rick is fair, easy going, polite, professional and HONEST. He even takes the time to let me know they have finished for the day (via text message), which I truly appreciate! I can already see a difference in the yard because of their hard work. The grass is a little greener and fuller, as well as the foliage around the house.

Cleared overgrown areas of our lawn, trimmed around existing landscaping, and weeded where necessary.

responded quickly..spoke to rick one day.. he came out & saw the job next day.. & did the work the next day. he was very easy to deal with & walked me around the property a few times to make sure i was happy with the work they were doing. they worked hard & did a great job. i would definitely use them again. they even did some extra trimming that we hadnt discussed but was very needed. rick was also very knowledgeable about all the vegetation.

Rick contacted me promptly and gave me an estimate at the property site (I am out-of-town) agreed upon services and a price and he showed up exactly like he said he would and let me know when he was finished with the project. He took before and after pictures which were great. Will definitely use again..

He came out but he was not able to put the deal I bought towards the job that I wanted. His overall price was more than I had contracted elsewhere.

Rick McDonald showed up when he said he was going to. He cut, weeded, and pruned the lawn. He did an extremely good job at lawn maintenance.

Everything basically went ok and the work was performed as I expected. I was a little taken back by the hard sales pitch. While I expect that most of these specials are a way to generate new business, they made it clear on the original telephone contact that they make little profit doing these specials and were interested in a long term lawn contract. When they arrived, I was interested in discussing what needed to be done, but he was more interested in giving me the same hard sell about a lawn contract. He stated that he would throw in some tree stump killer for free if I hired him for the lawn. I told him I had a lawn service currently, but would at least consider his offer. He made some slightly disparaging remarks about the job they were doing. Admittedly my current service is a quick edge, mow & go deal, but they are cheap. He indicated his service would be more comprehensive, but it was unclear to me exactly what that would include. It was all loose verbal commitment. If you are going to do this kind of hard sell, at least print up a flyer showing what levels of service you offer, then write down what the price would be and sign it. How hard is it to do this on word or powerpoint? We finally got around to talking about the original special for 6 hrs of yard work. As stated before, they did do the work agreed upon and I have no problem with that.

Rick's crew did a spectacular job! I honestly can't say enough about the job they did as it's been over a month now and the front and back yard look fabulous! I had purchased a deal on Angie's List and Rick worked with me to truly maximize the value. Rick came to my house a week prior to do a consultation that was included in e deal. We discussed different plants and trees that could work in the front and back yard and he followed up with me up until the morning that he would be arriving for the job. Not only was Elite extremely professional and courteous but they worked hard to make sure that I was blown away. Rick had two workers assisting him and they all started in my backyard to lay the sod. Prior to placing the sod, they raked and leveled the soil. I had a few bags of top soil that I had purchased and they used them to fill in any areas that needed leveling. The sod was laid perfectly and they even had some left over. Instead of just taking the the extra sod, Rick asked if he could place the remaining sod in my front yard as he had noticed some areas that needed some work. The front island was gutted and several new plants were planted. They used cypress mulch in the interior if the island which gave the yard a nice look. They even had some left over bags of mulch which they left for me. They cleaned up the areas nicely and really left nothing for me to do but admire my new yard!!! Rick followed up with me about two weeks after to make sure everything was okay. Exceptional service and work!!

Before he arrives, Rick always calls to let me know he's on his way. He greets me at the door to let me know they are beginning. Once completed, he lets me know. He is very particular about details and always asks exactly what we want (more work on the grass areas, or trees, or underbrush, etc.) He does a very thorough job and I'd HIGHLY recommend this guy. Very professional and personable.

It took 2 visits to finish everything , but I was pleased with the work.

Rick was great and gave us a lot of information about our yard. We had him come out and cut the sides of our ficus hedges and also dewed the area.
