I purchased the Big Deal on Angie's List. The next day I was contacted by Rick McDonald. I gave him a description of the work I needed done. We selected a date that worked for me. I called him the day before to verify our appointment. I did this for two reasons, one: I have had many people not show up as promised or called to reschedule at the last minute, two: I needed to purchase a great deal of sod for Rick to install and did not want it sitting if he wasn't coming. He assured me he would come and said he would be at my home by 8:30am. He arrived on time and ready to work. His crew started quickly and did everything I needed and he suggested a couple of other things to make my yard look better. He also took the time to tell me about watering the new sod and when it would be ok to cut the new grass. Rick and his crew were fast, efficient and very professional. They cleaned up after themselves. I will use them again and will recommend them to anyone that needs landscaping work done.

AWESOME JOB! Frankly, our 1+ acre property had gotten away from us over the past couple of years, so much so that I was embarrassed every time I pulled into my drive. Rick came out for a consultation, and the next week he and his crew tackled our yard. In a single day, they cleared the fence lines of pepper trees and vines, mowed all around our pond, trimmed trees, weedwacked, and basically whipped the place back into shape. They even cleared out the weeds from an old raised garden. Our neighbor drove past afterward and was amazed at just how good the place looked. My husband said it didn't even look like the same property. . It was a lot of money invested, but Rick and his crew earned it and were worth every cent. They will be handling our yard services on a monthly basis from here on out. Prompt, professional, and thorough!

He told me what he was going to do and was upfront. He did everything that he said he was going to do. The quality was great. I would use them again.

Rick was referred to me by my realtor, who was very impressed with his work and flexibility. He came out to get an overall idea of what I was looking for, came back with pictures and ideas that surpassed any of my expectations. His guys arrived on the time he stated and did not let up until they completed the entire landscaping project. They did a fantastic job and our house is a showcase in the neighborhood, thanks to his work. I highly recommend Rick for any landscaping projects as you will be VERY happy with the results.

Rick who is the owner of the company is extremely reliable and hands on. This job not only involved removal of a great deal of plant material but installation of other vegetation. It also involved working with the irrigation system. He was professional, on budget, and provided quality material. I especially liked that as unexpected problems developed (which always happens) he handled it well with skill and creativity.

Rick did a great job. He cut down some pepper trees and spent a good deal of time working around the yard (he also had another person working with him). He spent about an hour doing this and taking the branches etc. out front to be picked up by the county. Did a great job. We hired him to do our monthly service.

Crew showed up at 8AM Rick walked the yard with me to go over what we had discussed He was polite and had wonderful suggestions His main man cut all my Royal Palm trees with only a ladder and a chain saw and he trimmed them all the way to the top not just the dead Palm fronds He had 5 workers who swarmed on my property trimming my ornamental plants beautifully There was no chain saw massacre but knowledgeable cutting by individuals that really love plants and trees My yard is so pleasing now . All of us love how it looks. We hired Elite Cuts to maintain our yard so that it will stay a nice as it is now. Elites Cuts is the best thing that happened to my acre and a half of property. Rick is professional and courteous . I sent him an e-mail on a Sunday afternoon and with in 10 minutes I was receiving a call from him. His work was done on time and kept me informed with progress. I will use Rick again and will refer him to family and friends. Thanks Rick you will be hearing from us again!!!!

Service has been excellent! It seems that with all the landscaping companies out there, few actually match up to their promises. I ran across Elite cuts through a friend of mine who recommended their services. I was skeptical at first just because of all the many other landscaping "blow mow and go" jobs that promised much more up front but then did not deliver or wanted a "arm and a leg" and "tried to nickle and dime" for every little thing. Rick has been very helpful with not only the basic landscaping task (mowing, trimming, blowing, and weed eating) but has also taken can of the "little things" like trimming some size and taking out the horrible Brazilian Pepper plants that were overtaking my other foliage. His prices are reasonable, especially for the great service you get. I have found his services to be up front, honest, and dependable. Hope this help anyone who is having a hard time finding a reliable lawn service. :)

The mowing and edging are great. I wished I had used his services a long time ago. As for the major clean up and tree removal, I am very pleased. Rick is very knowledgeable at tackling Brazilian Pepper and tailored it removal to my budget. His crew works like a well-oiled machine, which makes sense, since Rick is a Veteran. I will gladly use Elite Cuts for all of my future landscaping needs.

Fantastic!! The walk path turned out amazing. It totally changed the curb appeal of my home.He was very attentive to my needs and all the details of the job.

They have been on top of things the whole time. Rick knows more about the trees than I do and he has been right every time. When money was tight he was even willing to barter. I give Elite Cuts my highest recommendation.

I've been with Rick for about a year now and he does an excellent job. He's professional, a nice guy and I am happy to be his customer!

He came down and all he was worried about was getting more customers by offering me a discount. I distrusted him so I checked to see if he had a license. He only has a PO Box and no actual physical address. I only used him for 2 months. I wouldn't recommend him.

Rick McDonald was hired to clear a portion of our property which had likely been neglected for decades. We agreed on a daily rate according to the designated crew size... since the job would prove quite laboring! Rick & his crew worked very hard... and definitely accomplished our expectations! Due to the amount of work our property required, we hired Rick & his crew back for a 2nd day, and were just as pleased with the amount of work they accomplished.

As he walked the yard, we agreed on what was important and what could wait for another time. I found him very knowledgeable about the plants in my yard as well as what he would recommend to stay with in my budget. At the end of his survey we where able to agree on a fair price for his services. He asked if I would like him to start today to which I was please and agreed. Perfect call and very professional.

I was referred to Elite Cuts Ladscaping by my old lawn guy who has moved on to other endeavors. But before he did, he told me he had a great lawn guy to replace himself with and if I would be interested in trying him out. I said that would be fine and please have him call me. That day I received a very courteous and professional phone call from the owner of the company Mr. Rick McDonald. We chattted for a good 30 minutes and addressed all lawn issues that I had and discussed what services and type of lawn care I would like in the future and how often. He asked if there was any other concerns or issues I was having with my lawn and/or something on my property. I informed him that I am having an overgrown pond problem. . Even though he doesn't do ponds he provided me with a company that can solve my problem and I am very pleased to have hired them too, thanks to Mr. McDonald. He set up an appointment to meet at my convenience and 2 days from that phone call he was at my home promptly at our scheduled app. He dressed and spoke very professionally. We did a complete walk through of my property and went over all lawn and tree issues that I needed addressed. We came to an agreement and sign and sealed it for monthly service. Mr McDonald also informed me that he is very happy to work with me on any lawn problems or issues in the future when they arise that are over and above the services I am paying for. Mr McDonald is a very polite and a well spoken gentleman. The following week he arrived on time with another young man and away they went. My lawn had really gotten overgrown since the holidays and needed lots of cutting and weeding done. it was pretty much a mess. Well in know time they had it looking marvelous! I was so happy...it was the best lawn service anyone has ever done(I have lived here for 10 yrs) and that was only the first cut. He came a couple other times to get me in really good shape and clean up all areas in desperate need here. I am so very pleased with Mr. Rick McDonald and his company Elite Cuts Landscaping and the job they are doing for me! I highly recommend them!

Overall the service has been fantastic. Whether it was landscaping, lawn maintenance, tree removal, bush trimming - all work has been completed start to finish along with a follow up of anything else that might be needed or considered down the road.

We are very happy with Rick. If I have any concerns, I can call Rick and he will address.

Service is bi-weekly. Always calls before he comes and does great work. He works with our budget and gives a great price on any add on's we need.
