The men were very nice, and did an amazing job. They spent three days, the first was messy, grinding down the existing concrete. The next day they poured the concrete, and made the design. The final day was fun, for me that is, watching the coloration which was very artistically done. I am delighted with the end result. Thank you Concrete Design.

Our pool deck was Chicago brick that had several areas where the mortar had eroded and we continually had to spray to kill weeds coming through. Despite that, my wife and I loved the look of the old-style bricks and requested a price quote to have the brick re-pointed and the deck restored. Professional and accommodating salesman, Roger, came to our home and gave us a reasonable quote for the job. Days later, owners Ken and Claudia MacDonald came to our house and stressed that re-pointing was a labor intensive job that their crews were not accomplished to perform. Instead, they suggested a concrete overlay. They directed us to their website to select from any of the various available colors and patterns. We found one that we liked and Concrete Design FL workers began work. They obligingly worked around another company that we had hired to resurface and re-tile our pool. On the final day, Claudia herself came out to oversee the job?s accurate completion. The results are astounding. We are extremely happy with the finished product and so glad that the Ken and Claudia urged us to reconsider our decision to keep the old bricks. We highly recommend Concrete Design FL for anyone considering similar work.

Went fine, But I was told all the water would drain even if he had to elevate surface. Would drill holes to drain water also. When I asked after payment he said he was busy and would get back to drill holes. Never heard back from him, water still puddles.

They worked as a team and did an excellent job. The managers came by each day to check on the workmanship as well as our satisfaction. T When they are ready for stain, they do a small area so you can get an idea of how it will look and if you don't like it, they will change it. They were one of the best companies I have ever worked with, as they actually do what they say they will do. Emiliano was superb and very professional.

We contacted Concrete Designs FL and were told by Claudia MacDonald that they do not do stamped concrete. Their business description on Angie's List site states that "We are experts in concrete overlay and resurfacing as well as stamped concrete." It also states they serve the residential and commercial communities of Fort Lauderdale, FL and surrounding areas. They did; however, refer us to All American Driveway Inc. and stated that although it was a referral, it would be out of their hands. We contacted All American Driveway Inc. and were in contact with Carlos Coll, who provided us with an estimate of $2400 plus the cost of a Permit (which is required by the City where we live). We asked that he apply for the Permit for us and were told that All American Driveway Inc. operated under One Stop Paving Inc. (Carlos Acosta) and he would take care of it. We felt comfortable with the arrangement because we were going through the City of Plantation and they would be the ones to look at the Permit application and approve it. The contract was signed July 23, 2013 and work began on August 29 and was completed September 12, 2013. Some of the delay was due to heavy rain in our area during this time and obtaining the Permit. Carlos Coll of all American Driveway Inc. was here whenever work was done and we were happy with the work except for: 1. They are smudged areas where the stamped concrete patio meets the house. Mr. Coll stated that was because there was very little room to lift the stamped concrete pattern because of the bottom of our hurricane shutters just above the patio. 2. There were some areas that the imprint was a little higher (as an example, like two bricks being next to each other and one is a little higher than the other, which could cause someone to trip). Mr. Coll did come out and sand out those areas for us and was to paint those areas as it caused the color to lighten. After a reminder phone call, he did come out to look at the color again. We contacted him again and he said he would take care of it but he was on a large job in Palm Beach County, FL. Our last contact was Friday, September 20, and we were told that he would take care of it the following week. We would like to point out that whenever we call All American Driveway, Vivana from that office calls us back immediately and gets in touch with Mr. Coll, but at this point we would just like to finish the patio. Also, the color seems to be fading. I would be happy to provide photos, if needed. Thank you. After writing my review, Carlos Coll of All American Driveway, Inc. did contact us and took care of our concerns. I would like to give this vendor an A for the work done but because we did have to contact Angie's List to get a response, a B rating seems more appropriate (my original rating was a C).

They did a nice job. It turned out very nice. He told me how he was going to do it, I like the way he did it. I liked him, it seemed to be a nice company and that was why I went with him.

My wife and I are delighted with our stunning new driveway, front walkway and entrance thanks to the amazing team from Concrete Designs Fl. For the past 10 years we would repaint and reseal the driveway and walkway until we realized it was time for a change. We considered pavers and stamped concrete until I discovered Concrete Designs online and gave them a call. Kenny came out the next day and completely won us over with his expertise, evaluation and extremely competitive pricing. One week later, Kenny and his team came out and, within two days, transformed our driveway and walkway from “bland and tired” to the most outstanding and beautiful on the block! Weeks after they finished, we noticed a couple of small areas that needed a touch up, so we called, spoke to Claudia and the next day one of their crew members came out and did the touch up. We could not be happier with the work that was done by Concrete Designs and the prompt and gracious followup they provided.

It went very well. They were very nice. They are very accommodating. They did a very nice professional job. I would definitely recommend them. They did a very good job and their workers are very nice and patient.

The patio design was close to what I wanted. I also had footers done for 2 columns on the insistence of the owner which look absolutely horrible. I did not like the backsplash or the footers on the columns at all. It was very rough looking and not at all what I expected. I ended up having it stucco'd over to make it smooth. I also ended up having to paint the footers myself. Essentially, the job was not finished, I received a discount for the screwed up backsplash. But, the expense and work involved to make it look acceptable makes me wish I had insisted that they not do it to begin with. Even though I said I really didn't want it, I was talked into it. The owner is difficult to deal with and once you pay him, he is done, even if the job isn't finished. The first time though, they didn't finish the patio either. The owner wanted his $1500, then he wanted an additional $500 to come back and finish it. I felt like I was fleeced and screwed. Bottom line: The patio look OK, just ok. The footers on the columns and his backsplash look absolutely horrible and he messed up my house. He couldn't care less. Florida is filled with miserable lousy contractors and this guy goes on that list IMO. UPDATE: The contractor lied when he said the job was $2500. The job was quoted @ $2200 of which I paid $1500, but they ruined my house. There was no way to properly repair the damage they did. IMO, these guys are thieves and they didn't care about damaging my house at all. Since they decided to post a response, I will post more photos to show what a lousy job they did. What we should have done was settle this in court with me suing them for all they damage the morons did who work for this company.

We are still waiting for them to come back to fix peeling. They are nice people and I want to believe that they keep their word.

Company came highly recommended by neighbors. Our stamped concrete patio floor was a mess (about 10 yrs old) from a poor paint job done by non-professional who swore he could do a great job. As is usually the case, you get what you pay for. Miguel and Jesus came to our home (on time) and gave us a complete description of what they felt had to be done and helped us choose the colors. We agreed on a price (very fair) and they told us they would call when they could start. A few days later they called and said they could start very shortly. The crew came out at the appointed date/time. They were very professional and neat, cleaning up after themselves and putting our patio furniture back where originally situated. We would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for any type of concrete work to be done.

I have to say at first I was optimistic about this company but after that it was one thing after another. Here we are almost 6 months after the job was "completed" and they have yet to return to finish painting a small spot on the deck. It's just ridiculous that I have to keep calling them and calling them to return only to have them not return. Also, they carelessly broke a water pipe outside and the company owner had the nerve to basically say it was my fault the pipe was there instead of apologizing for the mishap and then "I" have to find someone to fix and and pay for it as well. Never the less, the job is still not done 6 months later after paying them. I guess I am expected to paint the spot that is not painted. Hmmm, sounds a little backwards to me. I will never use them again. Just a follow up to a previous comment. Now, not even a year later, the paint is already starting to peel and chip away. It appears they may have used and inferior product. How can this already be happening?? It looks like one of those deals where it all looks great when they are done but after a few months, the true "quality" of the product rears its ugly head.

Our crescent-shaped stamped concrete driveway is six years old. It had a number of chunks missing in the front due to road work as well as long cracks in the driveway itself. In addition, the surface was slick in places and peeling due to failed prior attempts to install a coating that would insure a slip-free surface. It was hazardous and looked terrible. Although we called a number of companies, only Concrete Designs even returned our call. So much for trying to get 3 estimates, Since the company had an A rating in Angie's List, we took a leap of faith and contracted with them. The team came out on the day agreed upon and painstakingly ground the entire driveway to remove all the prior coatings. (It was a holy mess but Andy and his team cleaned everything up beautifully.) They repaired every chip and crack with a special caulking available only in and especially for Florida homes and then put a white bonding agent on the whole surface. The final step was recoating the driveway with a mixture of sand and pigment. They took particular care to freshen up the area around an entranceway mosaic. At long last, our driveway is non-skid and beautiful. Could there actually be a company that does what they say they are going to do, when they say they are going to do it? Yes! Would I rehire them in the future? Definitely.

Pool deck and patio look awesome. If you hire this company, be sure to read the fine print on the back of the contract. I had issues with the crew knocking out the electricity in part of my house and in the way the acid washing of the pool looked in the end. When I brought these things up, I was referred to the fine print on the back of the contract to assure me that they are not responsible for these things. Everything on the front of the contract was reviewed with me in detail. The back of the contract should clearly have been reviewed with me as well. Overall we were happy, but be careful to dig a bit before signing anything.

They were absolutely professional about their work and responsive to my needs. They were great. Their price was competitive, and the quality of their work was excellent. I have recommended them to several people in the neighborhood. I will absolutely use them again in the future.
