We wanted to update our kitchen and laundry room. We wanted to replace our builder grade cabinets and granite counter tops with high quality cabinets (with better organization), quartz counter tops and slab backsplash. I spent a lot of time planning my dream kitchen and laundry room. Right down to the last detail. We also needed new sinks, faucets, and pendant lights. One of the biding companies expected us to source these items our selves. What a pain! That was one of the main reasons we choose S & W Kitchens and Bath. The other reason we pick S & W was after meeting our designer, Lacie Rice. She came to our home and took measurements and listened while I laid out my vision. She made the process so easy. I met with her several times in the showroom in Tampa to shop and design. She found everything I wanted. She even matched the outlet covers on the island with the cabinet color. We met with construction manager Steve Cota and Designer Lacie for a final walk through of the plans and discuss the process. Everything was explained thoroughly. The estimate and final contract were meticulously detailed. We could see where every dollar would be spent. Every team (demo, plumbing, electrical, drywall, paint, cabinet install and counter fabricator) worked hard. They were respectful and tidy. Every step of the way Steve and Lacie were accessible. The back and forth communication was excellent. The permits all passed with no issues. They even sent cleaners before my house guests arrived for a holiday weekend. The quality of the Omega cabinets are excellent. The color is perfect. The Cambria Quartz counters and backsplash are beautiful. The kitchen and laundry room are much more functional now, too. Everything looks exactly how I had pictured in my mind. We couldn’t be happier with the results. It looks amazing!!!

We are so pleased with the total kitchen renovation we recently completed with S&W Kitchens in South Tampa. We literally demolished our original kitchen, removing walls, going all the way down to the studs and built a brand new kitchen. Our designer, Larissa Hicks and her design assistant, Gina Cerimele were able to take our basic kitchen ideas and design the perfect kitchen for us. The design process was very collaborative and at the end they were even able to come up with some creative solutions to keep our project within our budget. The construction phase went very smoothly. When we came across a “load bearing beam” in an unexpected place, the team quickly adjusted the design plan with minimal cost incurred. Mike Frary was our construction supervisor and he did a great job keeping us informed and the job on schedule. I highly recommend S&W Kitchens and designer Larissa Hicks for anyone who is doing a kitchen renovation.

In one word, AWESOME! I hired S&W Kitchens to remodel both of my bathrooms and my laundry room in a condo that I had just purchased. I have done some other renovation projects in the past and I was concerned that they wait until all your materials are in stock before they start. But now I totally get that concept! There were delays with a few items and I wasn’t waiting around in a demolished house. Demo started once everything arrived! Savana, Dale, Kevin and the rest of the team did an amazing job. They were kind and courteous to me. And clean, neat and respectful of my home. If a problem came up, they fixed it immediately. They finished a week early and stayed on budget. When I’m ready to do my kitchen, they will be my first phone call. I would highly recommend S&W Kitchens for any remodeling project.

Our experience with S&W has been a prolonged nightmare. They show little remorse for huge errors, and their workers appear to be overworked to the point of constant errors on the job. From our first meeting to our unfinished punch list, there has been little care or sense of urgency about critical errors. I would however like to mention up front that our Foreman (Pete) was amazing and thoughtful, but unfortunately quit the project as it became out of control. I don’t know if he left the company as well, but I wouldn’t blame him as he is not given the resources to succeed. Pete was also never replaced, and no issues were dealt with once he left the project. I will outline most of the problems we had starting from the beginning of the project. Once we had our design consultations at the Longwood showroom, we had our meeting to go over costs and timelines. We were quoted 11 weeks to a completion. It took at least double that to even get close to substantial completion, and there are still problems to this day (1/13/21). For reference, this meeting was at the end of March of 2020. Our biggest issue with this build was that they mismeasured our kitchen from the start, and didn’t figure that out until well into the build process when they noticed the cabinets would not be able to fit as designed. Their measurement was off by OVER A FOOT. The only person that seemed to care about this was our foreman, and the cabinet installers. The management continues to just say our kitchen looks nice, but refuses to acknowledge that it is a major issue that it was not the kitchen we ordered. This mismeasurement caused our kitchen to no longer be centered on a window, and we had to completely shift cabinets around. To the credit of their craftsmen, they did a very good job with the compromises, but they were just as horrified as we were. There were also other problems with the cabinets that caused them to come out for multiple visits which I will detail below. To that end, there are still problems with the finish of the cabinets that remain to this day even though the company seems to think they are done with this project. Here is a list of other issues that happened during our build: -A wall was framed in the wrong place and I had to correct the worker as I happened to be home that day. That caused some issues with our ceiling cracking later on -They lost kitchen hardware that took about a month to re-order -When installing our appliances, they caused a gas leak that we had to live with over a holiday weekend -They damaged a countertop during that appliance install and did not tell us. The damage was so severe that the counter had to be replaced. -They scratched the floor when they repaired the gas leak, and that scratch remains as the wood floor was installed by a different company. -We had several plumbing mishaps that required numerous revisits by the plumbers -They severed a pipe for our outside water -The cover and protect process they used for our wood floor caused moisture to build up and the floor had to be replaced -They completely installed an incorrect door which took weeks of visits to repair and it remains unfinished (missing a strike plate) -We had service people and inspectors show up unannounced and unexpected -We failed an inspection as they got the county confused even after we warned them several times about our county as we live near the county line -During this process they have been very slow at communication (weeks to respond) -Some of our kitchen hardware already has coating wearing off My last email to the company was on December 8th. I received a reply about a week later that they were elevating our case to ownership, but as of today (1/13/21) it has been almost a month since, with no word from ownership. The issues with this company all seem to come from the fact that they are accepting more work than they can handle. Their workers are good craftsmen, but they were all exhausted, and were often coming to us as their 3rd job of the day. This also caused us a few late nights of construction. We felt so sorry for the workers as they were absolutely beat. The workers had a real drive to fix issues, but the company has been slow to respond to issues, and does not seem motivated in any way to compensate for delivering a kitchen that was not what we ordered. In conclusion S&W charges a premium for their services and I can even see how it could be worth the money if the workers were scheduled well, but in our case, everything fell through the cracks, and there seems to be little accountability. I cannot recommend the company at the price they charge as you will end up still having to essentially coordinate most of the project yourself, and at that point you might as well go with a company that doesn’t charge a premium price for a mediocre product.

We selected to use S&W Kitchens in Longwood after reading all their reviews and completing a consultation meeting with our designer to complete the total remodel of our kitchen & 3 bathrooms in our home. Considering that we had started this big project in late February/early March 2020 prior to Covid-19, we are very happy with the final results and end product and design. The whole remodel did take longer than expected and there were a few delays & hiccups...but over all we love our new kitchen and bathrooms. Sarah, our personal Designer was an instrumental part in the entire process and a joy to work with. She was professional, open-minded in our vision, creative and understanding to what we wanted in our home regarding design & specific efficient functional needs for our family...also all while keeping our budget in mind without compromising quality and design. Robert our General Contractor was experienced & knowledgeable and also was pleasant to work with and was in communication with us and the entire team. Our entire S&W project team Sarah, Robert, David, Kevin & Craig were professional and great to work with. We are very satisfied with the work performed and look forward to enjoying our home with family & friends. Thank you to our S&W Kitchens Longwood Team for bringing our longtime vision for our kitchen/baths remodel into a beautiful reality. It was all well worth it! ~Dan & Tiffany Marcos

We are very please with our remodeled master bathroom. Our designer, Sarah Kraus Bartleson, listened to our ideas and turned our old tired bathroom into a fresh stylish bathroom. My husband and I recently had our kitchen remodeled by S&W Kitchens. We had new cabinets and countertops installed. The entire team was timely, competent, and a pleasure to work with. Our communication with the designer and site supervisor was excellent. We were always aware of the status of the construction. Being in the midst of covid, the work teams had temperature checked and face masks on during their time in my home. We highly recommend S&W Kitchens.

Chelsea was the Project Designer for my complete bathroom remodel. I shared with her the desired look I wanted for my bathroom. She far exceeded my expectations and kept it within my budget. She was very professional but very down to earth. She came to my house several times to check on the status of the project. I would highly recommend Chelsea to be your Project Designer. Mike was the Superintendent for my project. He kept me informed as to when the tradesmen would be at my house. He was very accessible and made sure my project was done right. I LOVE MY NEW BATHROOM!

My husband and I recently undertook a major renovation of our kitchen, master bathroom, and guest bathroom. We were extremely fortunate that we selected S&W Kitchens as our partner in this renovation. Christina, our designer, was brilliant in understanding our goals and worked closely with us on color schemes, tile patterns, kitchen appliances, kitchen island space, bathroom hardware, and more! From day one of demolition (thank you, Tony!) to the final day about nine weeks later, Mike, Christina, and everyone that worked to make our dreams come alive were exceptionally competent, responsive, professional, and friendly. At the conclusion of our project, our kitchen and bathrooms were dramatically more beautiful (and highly functional) than we had imagined possible in our dreams. When you partner with S&W Kitchens, you collaborate with true experts. I simply cannot adequately describe how well everyone, but particularly Christina and Mike, worked with us on all details, adjusting work schedules and “projects within projects” to come to completion smoothly, without glitches. We also enjoyed this renovation project – all of the people involved were amazing to work with! Anyone with a dream in mind would do well to contact S&W Kitchens to see that dream be realized. Moving from Texas to Florida was quite a challenge. We wanted to be closer to our children and find a home to accommodate our 2 horses and 4 dogs. The home we found was ”A diamond in the rough”! The only thing it had going for it was the lovely trees in the front yard, enough acreage for the horses and a move in ready barn. The day I walked into S and W kitchens and met Laura Scott was my best day since moving to Florida. My kitchen (and the rest of the house) was not functional and so, so outdated. I explained my dilemma to Laura, and thanks to her positive attitude, she said she was up for the challenge. And what a challenge it was. Not only was the existing kitchen design a challenge, I had already bought the new appliances for the new kitchen. The transformation from old, dark and outdated kitchen to a new, bright, updated and perfectly designed kitchen is amazing. Laura is an outstanding person a designer. She is the best along with the rest of the S and W Kitchens crew. Our kitchen is perfect! George and Jo Rosenhauer

Roisin Wong, our project manager at S&W Kitchens, was simply fantastic! She guided me through the entire process of renovating our kitchen from start to finish: layout, cabinet selection, lighting, countertop and backsplash and installation. She is professional, patient, friendly, talented and incredibly helpful! She knew our budget and gave several options to help me stay within that budget. She asked questions and made suggestions based on the way we use our kitchen. As it is the most important room in our home, she helped me put together a space that is light, bright and welcoming. Most important, she designed a space that completely fits the design of our home! I wholeheartedly recommend Roisin Wong.

Our master bath remodel was our second project with S&W. Once again we are delighted with the results. Not only is our new master bathroom gorgeous, it is efficient and functional. No more clutter on the counter or in the shower. Everything is hidden away while still being conveniently within reach. The construction team addressed every detail, resulting in the flawless execution of the design. They were courteous, professional and respectful at all times. We worked with designer Laura Scott as we had on our kitchen project. Her approach is collaborative and we knew she would help us bring our vision to life. She listened to our needs and desires and then offered fresh ideas that complemented ours. We appreciate how she touched base with us frequently from design to completion. Bottom line, we recommend S&W and would definitely use them again.

S&W Kitchens (Melbourne, FL office in particular) is a great company to work with, and Laura Scott is a wonderful designer. I hired them to remodel our 35 year old kitchen and had no clue where to begin. Laura walked us through the planning process with great patience and ease (and cheerful demeanor) beginning with an assessment of what we currently had and what we were hoping to accomplish in the finished design. With that understanding of our needs she worked up several proposed configurations and presented them to us as 3D and 2D presentations. Then she guided us through the material selection process for color, style, and mechanical configuration. Once we were satisfied with all that, she worked up a final plan including a detailed List of Materials and work plan. During that process we also met with Dale (construction lead). Together they laid out a timeline for the construction giving us a time window of best case and worst case duration. For the most part, they hit the timeline as promised and finished within the original prediction window. The work crews were polite and friendly. We felt very comfortable having them around the house (no security concerns.) They answered any questions we had while they worked and during the job progress. They worked carefully and kept the house as clean as possible by removing construction debris each day and hauling it away (no dumpster in the driveway!). Floors were protected with heavy-duty cardboard mats that were taped in place to prevent damage. Our hardwood floors came through the process without damage. We used plastic drop-cloths over everything each day to shield from dust. (It's inevitable that dust gets everywhere. Buy a stock of A/C filters and plan on changing them out every day or at least every other day during demolition and early phases of the construction, especially if drywall work is going on.) They can also place plastic sheeting to close off rooms as much as possible but the circulating air carries a lot of dust around the house nonetheless. Measurements were taken of our kitchen on at least two occasions ('measure twice, cut once' theory) so as to be sure they were correct. However, we still ended up ordering a special cabinet in one position as the one cabinet was too wide for the location because they ordered the wrong size. The quartz countertop fits perfectly. Alignment and seam work are exceptional. I couldn't find the seam until my wife pointed it out to me. The quality of the back-splash tile work is also exceptional. The installer meticulously hand fit pieces around the difficult areas. After the cabinets were installed, Laura inspected them and ordered replacement bits for anything that was scratched or dinged or had questionable surface finish. They cabinet installers adjusted all the drawer slides and cabinet hinges for proper operation. They had first indicated that they would stage all the materials in their warehouse and then bring them over, then we discussed storing them in the garage, but we were concerned about humidity issues and bugs, but in the end the materials were all staged in our family room. (We moved everything into the other rooms to make room for the materials. It had two benefits: first, it was adjacent to the kitchen so it made work efficient and easy; secondly, all materials were under A/C and so all dimensions stabilized in the wooden parts prior to installation. It was inconvenient for us because of the crowding but it was probably the best solution in the end.) It is inevitable that remodeling is inconvenient. However, S&W Kitchens did their best to make everything flow smoothly. We are very pleased with the finished result and I easily recommend S&W Kitchens and Laura Scott for anyone seeking to remodel their kitchen.

Thank goodness for S&W Kitchens! My husband and I had had bad experiences with renovations and contractors in the past and were beginning to think that there was no such thing as a good contractor. Luckily, we found S&W Kitchens. Whitney Rutledge immediately understood our style and knew what we were after from a design standpoint. She planned out our kitchen renovation for maximum utility and suggested features that brought our kitchen renovation to a whole new level. We are thrilled with what she and her team accomplished and we couldn't be happier! We definitely recommend Whitney and S&W Kitchens for any project. You won't be disappointed!

My husband and I found S&W Kitchens on a Google search. We had 2 bad experiences in the past with remodeling projects and were very cautious about choosing the right company. Whitney Ruthledge with S&W Kitchens contacted us and from our first meeting, we knew we had made the right choice. We worked with Whitney for several months planning the remodeling of 3 bathrooms. After the first meeting she had preliminary drawings and great suggestions for tile, cabinets, hardware, etc. She is incredibly talented and has a real gift for design and color. We absolutely loved the plans she did for the bathrooms. She had a range of product suggestions and did an excellent job working within our budget. We started construction in October 2018 and Mike Fray was our Construction Manager. Mike did an excellent job keeping us informed of the process and updated us immediately with any changes. Both Whitney and Mike were at our house frequently checking on the progress and they were both always easy to reach if anything came up and we had questions. All the contractors worked under Mikes supervision and we did not have any problems at all. The bathrooms were finished within the time frame they planned and we are absolutely thrilled with the work. We were so happy with S&W Kitchens and Whitney and Mike, that even before the other bathrooms were finished, we began working with Whitney on remodeling the master bathroom, as long as we had Whitney and Mike back on the project! We had a little trouble getting the permits for the master bathroom and Alison Hamilton at S&W Kitchens worked with us the get the situation resolved. Alison was as easy to work with as Whitney and Mike and we were so impressed with her diligence and hard work. We can’t say enough good things about S&W Kitchens, and Whitney, Mike and Alison and highly recommend them!

Whitney helped us figure out our style and what new products would coordinate with our existing cabinets. She helped find the perfect products that had elements we both wanted. Mike managed the construction very well and was responsive to our needs and change orders.
