We are remodeling all 3 bathrooms in our home. My husband and I have been putting it off because quite frankly we are complete opposites when it comes to design preferences. I'm so happy we reached out to S&W Kitchens -- our designer, Victoria Pratt, has spent a lot of time getting to know us and understanding both our functional needs as well as our styles. She has been so patient and has provided solutions and beautiful design options that we both like...no small feat! Highly recommend S&W Kitchens!

My wife and I purchased a 1987 home with a horrible floor plan and a kitchen that would require a complete tear-out. The kitchen walls were angled with jogs, drop ceiling and loose floor tiles. We knew that walls and drop ceiling had to be removed making the lanai part of the main living area. After much research, we contacted S&W Kitchens of Tampa and met with Lacie Rice. Lacie was a delight to work with. She was knowledgeable about the process and very attentive to our needs. Her ideas and design expertise created an awesome floor plan and a fabulous kitchen. Joe was a perfectionist with the installation of our beautiful kitchen cabinets topped with crown moldings. A large island was created with a space for a beverage fridge that my wife and Lacie talked me into, and they were right :). Daniel Neris of S&W Kitchens oversaw the contractors during construction and both Lacie and Daniel went above and beyond to ensure the workmanship met the high quality standards promised by S&W Kitchens. Thank you Lacie and Danial for a job professionally well done.

4 Years later, we are finally done with our “12 to 14 week project” that started with S&W Kitchens. This is after they abandoned our project, we had to get an attorney involved, and hire a different contractor to complete the project. Before the design was finalized, we reduced the scope of the project to pull out some major items. S&W revised their price for the project based on the changes we made. Despite the scope being significantly reduced, they came back with a price well above the initial numbers that had a greater scope. The information communicated from the office to their field was mostly inaccurate and caused issues. Due to the lack of organization, poor communication, inaccurate documents, we lost count of how many times things needed to be reworked. You would think a company being in business for 40+ years and having multiple locations throughout central Florida; organization, management, and communication would be their strong suit. We had 3 different superintendents over the life of the project. We had to constantly keep stepping in to get things corrected multiple times and keep things moving along. It would still be going on had we not done that. We needed to get the head of the field out of Orlando involved. Our thoughts were this would get things back on track. Reflecting on everything now, it accomplished nothing, dug the hole deeper, and wasted more time. We tried to get both owners, out of Palm Harbor and Orlando, involved to address the issues. That also yielded no positive results. The root of all the issues that were experienced trace straight back to ownership. This was a top-down issue where their decisions to have the personal in the roles they were in did not allow for things to work. When the owner describes in their online professional profile, playing multiple rounds of golf each week and walking their dog everywhere, you start to question if their priorities are focused on their business. Having company “retreats” in Utah where no one could be reached for a week when issues were occurring on the project was another upper-level decision we were surprised to see. Everyone we worked with appeared to have good intentions. They were just tasked with responsibilities that were outside of their own skill sets or limited by what management/ownership would allow them to do. As an example, having the designer get involved with coordinating, scheduling, or ordering of materials did not yield a good result. Stick to design, where their strengths are and nothing more would have helped. We wish we had known what we were in for prior. Had someone shared this type of experience, we would have sought out a different company. Our project was wrapped up in July 2024 by a different contractor who did an awesome job. This was 4 years after we started vs. the 12-14 weeks in the contract. During the first 15 months of our project, I witnessed a 25-story mid-rise go up from caissons set to occupancy and a high-end custom home go from foundation to the homeowners moving in. If you are considering having S&W Kitchens do your project, hopefully, our experience shares more insight into what can occur.

S&W Kitchens remodeled my kitchen over the past few months. The finished product is absolutely beautiful! The seamless coordination between Lacie Rice and Daniel, the Lead Contractor, made this project perfect! I also am grateful to the subs that were used. They were all very professional, courteous and at the end of the day, everything was cleaned up. I highly recommend S & W Kitchens to anyone looking to remodel their kitchen.

Deanna designed the perfect kitchen for me. My prior kitchen was old and so outdated. Kevin made sure that everything went well, kept me in the loop of every detail and was on top of everything. I cannot thank them enough, I am so happy with my beautiful kitchen.

Everyone has heard about "bucket" lists! One of my items in mine said, complete a Kitchen remodel before I retired. Well, it happened two years away from my retirement and very happy with the results. The time spent at the design stage with Kiersten Petty for the much-needed Q & A during the process of developing a design with our hopes and keeping practicality at bay, was well worth it. Kiersten listened patiently to our likes and wishes and incorporated them into the much-needed kitchen remodel, putting the design on paper / computer and ultimately into a contract. Sure, there were a few hick-ups during the build. She showed she cared about delivering our hopes and dreams by coming to the house with her thinking cap on her head any time she was needed. She would handle all field issues with professionalism and took into consideration our concerns and the finish product we were looking for in our new kitchen. She would always have an idea along with an altenative(s) that would also work. So, you were never pressured with a decision that you may not like at a later date. She always wanted you to be a part of the decision making. I would like to add a thank you to one of their finish carpenters, Tony. I have never seen anyone so detailed oriented other than my deceased father. The family room is adjacent to the kitchen area and what a remodeled pair they make. Very happy with Laura Scott and her team at S&W Kitchen. Laura walked us through the whole process, and really made the renovation project easy. Once the permits and materials were in place the whole job took about a month to complete. The actual construction was painless, the workers were very respectful and minimized the noise which is great since I work from home. The results speak for themselves, the new kitchen really brightens up the house and the colors make the space feel larger. It really does feel like something you would see in Home and Gardens. Highly recommend S&W Kitchen for a remodel job, and I will be using them again in the future to do our bathrooms.

When I made the decision to move forward with a kitchen remodel, I knew I was going to need some serious help! I have remodeled bathrooms in the past but never a kitchen and it seemed overwhelming. I stopped into S&W Kitchens in the Tampa Showroom one Saturday and I am so thankful Gina Cerimele was there to greet me! After meeting with Gina, I quickly realized she is someone that is down to earth and genuinely wants you to be happy about the selections. She provides her expertise in design and trends, making sure to select a layout that is functional and guide you to select products that fit the space and style of the home. On countless occasions, Gina came to my home to map out the layout and reassure me through the entire process. Gina was extremely responsive with questions and her visits. Thank you Gina for being patient with me and for all your help and guidance!

We had a great design experience - Alfred Huertas worked with us to get the vision for our Kitchen and 2 Bath remodel converted to an open design and we are satisfied with the final result. Biggest disappointment was the proficiency of the subcontractors and the length of time it took (over 18 months). We had a large tile job and the quality of install was below DIY. Quality issues we found in the original install took multiple visits by the punch tech to address. The quality of materials and appliances was good - very satisfied. Alfred was instrumental in getting our stalled project moving again by being a vocal advocate for us with S&W leadership. Since we were not living in the home during the remodel, it felt like the job suffered a lack of priority at S&W. Be a squeaky wheel. If you choose S&W - stay involved with the choice of subcontractors and scheduling. ‘First available’ yielded subpar results.

They refused to work on our project because this is a manufactured home, and their team would be "uncomfortable" working on such a building. Female caller also claimed that anything installed could not be warrantied because the home can "technically" be moved. Wish they hadn't bothered contacting me at all.

We couldn't be happier with our experience with S&W in our kitchen/bar remodel. Shirley Aguilu's design was perfect for our house and met the needs of our family. David Copson made the process happen quickly and with little disruption to our lives. Everyone from S &W working on our project took pride in their work. The attention to detail was exceptional. I recommend them whole heartedly for any project.

We engaged S&W Kitchens to perform a makeover of our kitchen and 3 bathrooms and we are thrilled with the results. We worked closely with Lacie Rice on the design and she was simply outstanding in all respects. Highly organized and knowledgeable, Lacie helped make an intimidating project one that was easy and fun! We loved working with her from the design through completion. And Daniel Neris and the entire S&W construction team were awesome. We appreciated their promptness, attention to detail and excellent communication throughout the project. We had no prior experience with S&W and are so thankful we found them to lead this project for us!

We began working with S & W Kitchen's in April, 2022 planning our kitchen renovation. We are currently starting the 2cd week of this renovation. To date, all of the staff we have worked with have been professional, responsive and very skilled at their respective jobs. Gina Cerimele, an S & W designer, has been with us from the beginning. She has an amazing attention to detail, amazing design skills, encorperated all of our wishes into the design plans, meticulously organized, stayed on top of and communicated regularly about the process. Once all the products were purchased and received the renovation of our new kitchen was scheduled to begin. 2 weeks prior to our start date Gina brought our Project Superintendent, Daniel Neris to our home to view the space and review the steps of the renovation plans. Both Gina and Daniel, were very thorough and detailed about the coming process and set up a group text to keep us all informed and on the same page. Our kitchen renovation began 12/5/22. I can't say enough about Gina and Daniel's leadership and strong project management skills. They have been either at the job site or in communication via phone or text daily. The crew that Daniel assigned to our project, as well as all the trades, have exceeded our expectations. Jamie and his team are highly skilled, extremely hard-working, on- time, very personable and extremely neat and respectful of our home. To date, the process could not have gone better and we are excited to continue to work with these amazing professionals . I will update this review as the project continues. Thank you S &W kitchens! September 6 2023 UPDATE: It has been 8 months since my initial review of S & W Kitchens and our kitchen renovation is complete. We couldn't be more pleased with the result. The entire renovation project continued as it began...with a highly skilled, accountable and personable construction crew and trades; strong leadership/oversight from the Project Superintendent (Daniel Neris) and Designer (Gina Cerimele); excellent communication and an organized, structured and highly detailed construction plan. With all the pre- construction planning that went into this project, we only had 1 unforeseen electrical change order with a minimal cost. Every aspect of the project had been well thought out and accounted for. When construction issues did occur the construction team already had a solution before, we even were even aware there was an issue. Being able to trust that the team was on top of and able to effectively problem-solve any issues certainly reduced the stress and anxiety of our renovation project and was greatly appreciated. S & W Kitchens and all of contracted trades demonstrated highly effective communication patterns which furthered the productivity and high quality of our kitchen renovation project. Everyone on the team freely, openly and respectfully shared information amongst each other and this led to a project with no significant surprises. Overall, this team-oriented group was fully invested in our kitchen renovation vision and laser focused on delivering a high quality, beautiful kitchen of our dreams. We worked with S&W to do a complete renovation of our kitchen, wet bar and to also renovate adjacent areas. We are particularly thrilled with the final kitchen and bar, and absolutely love showing them off to our friends, family and neighbors. Working with our designer, Lacie Rice, was simply the best. She was attentive to details, knowledgeable and a real pleasure to work with, willing to take the time to put up with our desire to be involved in all the fine details. As for the subcontractors, Joe, the cabinet contractor, was a true and dedicated craftsman, and Alex, the flooring guy, Elvis, the backsplash tile guy, and Granite Plus, the countertop fabricators and installers were all particularly diligent, on task and qualified, providing great services. The project did take longer than we had hoped, but in the end, we realized that getting it right was more important than getting it done quickly. Those embarking on this type of project should be prepared for a longer time frame than you might tend to expect, but it's the overall industry, not this wonderful vendor. S&W, thanks for giving us an end product that give us a smile every day!

Our primary bathroom remodel project was exceptional! From the outset, the communication and planning were top-notch. Kirsten, the designer, provided invaluable guidance throughout, and Daniel, the project manager, was fantastic. A smooth and satisfying experience with outstanding results. Highly recommended!

S&W just completed a total renovation of our guest bath. I am a returning customer as 6 years ago they renovated my primary bath, laundry room and pantry. As always, Larissa Hicks did a fantastic job on designing the space and came up with solutions to every design challenge. Communication was always prompt--every text and email was responded to and addressed right away. Alex was also always there to help with the endfless decisions that I had to make! Project Manager Mike Frary kept things running smoothly and made sure that the million little details were taken care of. We love our new bathroom!

Looking for a kitchen designer? STOP - you’ve found the best! We tried 3 designers before we got to S&W and we’re so glad we did. Working with a company that (1) has such a great reputation (we checked with people in the industry - not just online reviews), (2) buying power which includes getting highly skilled craftsmen, (3) an in-person showroom where you can see products not just view online, (4) a kitchen project book where your personal products/charges/timelines are detailed for you and the S&W team, (5) and last but not least whatsoever - Sarah Bartelson Kraus as our dedicated kitchen designer!! MANY internal/external workers told us how fortunate we were to be working with Sarah and we quickly found out why. It’s rare to find such a professional with such a creative flair, while also demonstrating exceptional project management attention to detail. Needless to say, we could not be happier with the outcome of our floor to ceiling kitchen renovation in our 1928 home. Stop looking, you’ve truly found the answer to your kitchen renovation needs.

We are glad the we used S and W to do our kitchen and flooring remodel! We reached out to them after a friend had used them for two separate remodels. They had worked with Laura Scott for both projects, and we were fortunate to find Laura actually at the Wickham Road showroom when we dropped by. For this project we provided a general wish list of changes, and provided some photos of our existing space. Before charging us anything, Laura and the construction estimator Robert Husband came out to photograph and measure our space. From that information, she developed a preliminary design for us. She cheerfully made changes that we requested, and met with us several times to assist in picking out cabinet styles and colors, flooring, hardware, countertops, backsplashes, etc. When we asked for suggestions, we got them, and when we stated our selections, they were welcomed. Once the construction started, we only had the dumpster in our driveway for a few days. This was a significant redo, with everything in the kitchen, and the tile flooring, being replaced. S and W uses a lot of subcontractors, including some from the Orlando area, and the project was run by a single construction manager, Stephan Preisendanz. All of the subcontractors and S and W employees did good work, and were respectful while working in our home. There were few issues that came up during the construction, but all were resolved quickly and amiably. Be advised that a project like this takes a significant amount of time. The design phase took about 4 months, and it was just under 5 months from signed contract to project start. The kitchen was functional at the 3 ½ month mark, and punch list items completed at just over 4 months after start.

We worked with S&W to renovate a kitchen, powder bathroom, hall bathroom and completely create a bathroom. It was a huge, huge process. We have a 1930s colonial and we were looking for someone that could create rooms that would fit in the vibe of this home, but be very functional and durable for our young family. We followed Larissa, our designer, on Instagram and contacted her - she met with us quickly and was bubbling over with ideas for our project. Larissa is talented, organized, incredibly responsive and detail-oriented. She has a knack for creating spaces that are gorgeous and functional. She understands how a family actually lives in a home and helped guide my husband and I in selecting layouts, fixtures, and products that would support our needs. Larissas team is also fantastic - they’re equally dedicated to producing quality work, even on hard jobs. Related to the construction side of S&W… this is always going to be a little tricker b/c to my knowledge NO ONE loves living in construction, which is exactly what we did (with a toddler). However, hindsight being 20/20, I will say that the teams selected by S&W did quality work. Certainly there were times that I felt that we needed more communication, more results. But, overall, our end product is superb. Additionally, there was always a person to escalate a problem to and the problem was always handled. Anything that we found to be less than, they’d work to get fixed. Even after our project wrapped, Mike (our PM by the end) dispatched relevant teams to correct any small issues that cropped up. In addition to the gorgeous end product in our kitchen and 3 bathrooms, I'd say a huge benefit is that S&W will stick to their word, they will show up, they will answer their phones (even after the project is wrapped). Which I think is pretty unique and shows a level of quality that I would recommend.

At the start of 2021 it was inevitable that our kitchen needed to be completely renovated as well as redesigned. After researching several different companies, we decided to work with S&W Kitchens. They had excellent reviews and have been established here for quite some time. As with any major project we expected our share of glitches here and there, especially with problems due to prolonged deliveries and workers becoming ill due to COVID. Working with Rosemarie Szedula, our designer, made this project seem effortless and smooth. She was reliable, honest, and went above and beyond to make sure everything went as expected and made sure that we had exactly what we wanted and needed. Anytime I reached out to her she responded quickly and took care of the issue. The kitchen turned out better than I expected, and the added storage space and peninsular are wonderful. The kitchen was completed on-time and the quality of the workmanship as well as the actual cabinetry, granite and tile was excellent. We are both very happy with our choice. It was wonderful to work with S & W Kitchens in Melbourne florida for a laundry room upgrade. They were easy to work with and straightforward and professional. Lee, Kevin, Matt and Angel the plumber were our team. The fees were exactly as described.

Sarah, our designer, did an amazing job of designing our master bath and laundry room. She was very knowledgeable, patient, and provided us a great choice of materials. Chris, our superintendent was also very knowledgeable and was there for every step that was taken. He made sure that the work was done correctly! Our project turned out better than we could have imagined!
