John's Sliding Door Wheel & Window Spring Repair

The service was fast and excellent. It is like having a new sliding glass door. The owner contacted me quickly and we scheduled the appointment within a week of me contacting him. He was professional and worked quickly. I would recommend this company.

John was very polite over the phone when we were setting up the appointment. His kindness and professionalism carried on throughout the entire job. He arrived when he said he would and even gave a courtesy call 15 minutes before he showed up. He did great work- the windows work like new. He even went above and beyond and performed some minor repairs to the frames of the windows. The total was exactly what he quoted. It is hard to find polite, honest and skilled repairmen; I would recommend him to anyone.

Mr. John gave me a call when he was enroute, he took off the sliding door and replaced the wheels which had dropped the door on the track and it was completely stuck and not able to open nor close. He completed the work he promised without a hitch, and it worked better than before and works alot better than my other sliding doors. So John gets an AAAA +++ in my book and will pass his name around and will call him back for future work!!! Great Job John and thanks again!

Our sliding glass door was very difficult to open. John promptly replaced the wheels, cleaned the track and made the necessary adjustments.

I have a closed in porch with five glass sliding doors. All were in need of repair. One did not open, another was hard to open and the rest were noisy and kept coming off their tracks. When I called John Donahue he got back to me right away and we scheduled an appointment. The day before the appointment he gave me a reminder call and he called the day of the appointment when he was on his way. He knows his doors and when he left all of them were working again. He also fixed what really needed to be repaired. Two of the doors needed minor adjustments and lubrication. He was professional, on time, neat and cleaned up after his work was done. Nice to be able to use all the doors again. I would recommend him for sliding glass door and window repairs.

It went excellent!! Super cool guy, very professional. He called the day before as he said he would. We had to reschedule once due to our schedule with work and kids, he was very accommodating. I would recommend for everyone who wants great working sliding doors. The price may seem high to so e but in this world sometimes you get what you pay for - in this case it was worth every penny! :-)

John is a true professional, very down to earth overall good guy. I called John and left a voicemail of which a promptly returned the call. We set a date and john called the day before as promised. I had to reschedule once on John and he was very understanding. John came out and went right to work. One of our doors we actually stopped using because it was so bad. John replaced the wheels ( has has his own top quality wheels manufactured) and the track. He also replaced the wheels on our other two doors and cleaned and lubricated all moving parts on all doors. I would strongly recommend john to everyone!

John was hired to replaced some rollers on my sliding glass door. This door is 12 foot high and lord knows how heavy. He called before and when he was 15 min out. He arrived to my home to find out the doors were rolling but had some squeaky noises coming from them. I'll tell you when this doors wheels collapsed and I man handle the door to shut, and drugged the door's base on the rail because it wouldn't want to close and it happen on cool evening when we were going to bed. I knew this was going to be a challenge due to the height and weight of this door. I You-Tubed it and did my mom's doors which were 6 feet and very light, I surely didn't want to attempt to do this let alone by myself. If I had two other guys to help me remove the door I think I could of done it. But didn't have the time and the people available to assist so I called John. My niece was home when I was working when John came by to replace my wheels. I got home and tried the doors and "WOW I COULDN'T BELIEVE HOW FLUID THE DOOR OPEN AND CLOSE". With one finger I can open it! I asked my niece how did John do it.....did he have a assistant? Did he take off the doors like on you-tube? She told me he was by him self and did take off the door to replace the wheels. That was unbelieveable one person was able to take off this heavy large door. I guess when you have the right tools and done it enough you CAN! To all of my "Angie List" compadares if you have a issue with your slider and it's huge and heavy and not sure if you can do it? John is the person to call to aviod breaking your sliding glass door and numberous trips to the Home Depot!! We called John because our breakfast room sliding door was dragging but while he was here we had him go ahead and replace the rollers on the our family room sliding door (the house is 36 years old and the rollers had never been replaced). AS advertised he returned my call qquickly, set up a n appoitnemnt for a quote, when work was scheduled he confirmed the day before, called us the day of when he was on his way. John is true to his word and does what he says. His answering machine says it all, he is a one man show with years of experience. We moved into our home in September and none of the windows opened or stayed open. John replaced all the springs in a very timely fashion, even fixing our squeaking door. Now that the weather has cooled we are very grateful for John fixing our windows. I would recommend John time and time again.

I contacted this company because I had a heavy sliding glass door that was tough to slide open. He returned my call on the same day. We set up an appointment for him to come out and fix the door. We are getting the house ready for us to move in. The sliding glass door had not worked properly for years. John came in and replaced the rollers and it now works like new. The repair took only about half an hour. He also gave some good advice about cleaning the tracks, since they had been greased in an effort to make the door work. Very pleasant experience to have his help and expertise.

My kitten got a cat toy stuck in the large sliding glass door in the family. The toy also broke on of the wheels. John had it fixed in know time. He replaced the wheels and made sure the track was straight. Now the door slides as smooth as silk. Since the kitchen door was just as old as the one in the family room, I had him replace the wheels on that one too. My only regret is that I don't have more sliding doors. However, I will recommend him to all of my family and friends.
