Luis called once the tile was loaded on the van and let me know that they were on their way. Luis and Angel arrived and I walked through the house to show them the areas that would be tiled (the kitchen and master bathroom). They got right to work. They were going to put the tile down on top of the linoleum but Luis showed me that the linoleum had come up quite a bit in the laundry room so he said that they would pull it all up. On the first day they put the whole pieces of tile down with the dividers. On the second day they came and cut the smaller pieces to fit in and put the grout in. They finished in the afternoon and it looked great! We had the carpeting installed two days later. We had the entire house carpeted - 4 bedrooms, the dining room, and the living room. The guys came in and moved the furniture to one side of the house and tore the old carpet up. They vacuumed the bare floor prior to laying the new carpet. They worked well together and were very efficient. They finished up in the afternoon. The guys that came to lay the tile and the guys that came to lay the carpet were all very friendly and professional and kept us informed throughout the day of where they were in the process. I would absolutely recommend Discount Tile and Carpet to friends, neighbors, or co-workers.

I don't do details, but the work was excellent and the installers prompt and courteous.

He showed us samples in all price ranges and explained the differences but never pushed us into a decision. They carry an extensive selection and were able to meet our Saturday install before moving in. Marty was right on time that Saturday to install and he was excellent! He was extremely meticulous and took his time to make sure the job was done right. They are very professional and dedicated to customer service. They are proud of their reputation and they should be, they are awesome and I would use them again. Thank you for a totally enjoyable experience!

We had just purchased a foreclosure that was in pretty bad shape. We had to replace all of the carpet throughout the home (4 bedrooms and a family room.) We had a short window of time to get this done, and Discount Carpet and Tile was able to order the carpet and get it in quickly, and install it on the one day we had available to install it in order to stay on schedule. The installation went very well and we were happy with the whole experience. I highly recommend Discount Carpet and Tile.

This was for a rental so they worked with my tight schedule. Only problem was that when they arrived with the vinyl, it was not the pattern I had ordered. I was able to get another piece and they were able to meet my deadline. Salesman and installer were professional and experienced.

Very friendly, courteous, helpful staff helped us pick the right carpet for pets. They were on time. They quickly removed the old carpet and installed the new carpet. They even called to ask how the installation was. Great service.

They were very good in communications. They called us several time letting us know what was going on. I went to their show room because I wanted to see the company. It was small but very well organized. I could see they were professional and didn't try to push me to buy the most expensive carpet. He (don't remember his name!), asked me questions to see what kind of carpet I needed, and advised me on the quality I should get. It was fast, and efficient. 3 days later, someone else came to take the exact measurement of the house. 4 days they were supposed to install it. When they received the carpet, something was damaged, so they called me back, and rescheduled within 3 days. They called to say they would be there in 15 minutes. They were there within the time. very clean, and professional. Perfect! It was done in about 5 hours (much faster than I expected). They removed the old carpet and everything. When they left everything was nice and clean. Excellent job! I would definitely use Discount carpet again!

William Connley, their Installer 's workmanship was excellent. Came on time and cleaned up work area very well. Buying the carpet was a hassle free event. From purchasing the carpet to install was 3 days. Impressed with their professionalism and commitment to great service.

I had been looking for new carpet and found one I liked but the price was not what I wanted to pay. I had used Discount before for carpet and tiles and always got a good price. I went in to see if they had anything close and I had a sample and the said they could order and they gave me a great price. Well use then again.

Bought tile at store for a very competitive price. Tile had to be ordered due to it not being in stock. Took about 2 weeks to get it. Tile and service was top notch.

From the purchase experience to the demo and then install and all aspects in between These guys were great.. The estimate , purchase all punctual and pricing was very good. The install guys were very professional , on time every day (it took almost 3 weeks) Very high attention to detail which I was watching.. some very complicated cuts on 20 x 20 tiles and they did it right.. if it didn't look perfect they would take it up and do it again.. without being told by me... I will definitely be using them again.. In fact one of our bathrooms is going to be redone and they are going to do it... they don't even know yet...

Best kept secret! I went in and the owner was amazing. He was very informative and spent a lot of time with me on what my options were (and he didn't try to just sell me the most expensive carpet). The timeline that was promised was met perfectly, and they were very accommodating. On the day of my install, I had an emergency issue where plumbers were working in the bathroom and walking in and out of the room that needed to be carpeted. I tried to reschedule the install for the next day, but they were booked all day. Instead of just continuing with what was scheduled, the installer was extremely accommodating and said he would remove the old carpet and prep the room and then come back later that evening after his other jobs, so that I wouldn't have to worry about the new carpet getting dirty from the workers. It worked out perfectly and he came back on his own time and was very pleasant. You don't find service like that from large retailers like Lowes and Home Depot. This is a family owned business where the employees have been working for over 20 years. Nothing is contracted out!

I looked around at the big box store - Depot and Lowes then decided to look at Angies List. I found Discount Carpet went by looked at some samples received a great price. Ordered the carpet and within a week or so the carpet was in and ready to install. The installer showed up at the exact time and went right to work. He was clean and very professional. He was alone so it took most of the day but the finished product was wonderful!

Everything went very well. We worked with Terry to determine what carpet we wanted. The width of the room was over the typical 12 feet that carpet comes in. To insure that we wouldn't have a seem that would not work well with the type of carpeting we wanted installed, we had to find a 15 foot width, which is not easy to find. We decided to purchase a 100% nylon carpet that came in a 15 foot width. It's not the cheapest carpet but the quality is very high and we felt it was worth it. Now that it is installed we feel that we made a wise move getting a better grade of carpeting since it appears to be holding up well and is very soft to the touch - much nicer than the carpeting we replaced. The installation was done by Marty and it appears that he did an excellent job. One thing stood out in dealing with Terry. He was very informative about carpeting in general and what you get for what you pay. We were going to have this carpet installed in our bedroom closets and Terry asked us why we wanted to spend the money on a closet when the carpeting we had in the closet was still in good shape. That impressed me that Terry would talk us OUT of spending more money when we really didn't need to. That's why I think this is a good firm to work with and would recommend them to anyone reading this message.

It went very well. They were prompt and professional. Even worked with the fake bricks that were harder than concrete so the tack strip was difficult to install. But they figured out a way to make ti work. Very pleased.

Everything went very smoothly, Carlos and his crew did a fantastic job. Highly recommend.

Sales staff was friendly. Retail office was clean and well organized. I was offered several alternatives to choose from based on varying prices alternatives. Installer was courteous and professional. Overall, it was a very good experience. I would recommend others to use this company.

I loved the fact they advertise the price of the tile and installation up front. The installer (Louis) did a fabulous job and managed to finish the job early! I'm only disappointed in myself for not having the entire house done!

We have an 8 x 8 foyer in which we wanted to replace the slate with vinyl. We shopped locally and Discount Carpet & Tile was our second stop. I presume the man we spoke to was Mr. Mulkey. After we explained what we needed, he showed us some samples... But then did the unexpected. He said he could sell to us but we'd have order it and pay for shipping to get 8 feet off a 12 foot roll. He said we could save money if we could find a remnant. He further explained how we might find a remnant. We thanked him very much and left. Here is a man who is looking out for the consumer. He gave up a chance to sell us product so that we'd spend less money on a remnant. We rarely find a salesman with such character.

For some reason, one of our cats got closed in a room by another professional doing some house work. In an effort to get out of the room, our cat scratched under the door and damaged the carpet. The damaged area was right at the end of the carpet by the tile in the hallway. In fact. the carpet was lifting up off the flat surface. I needed a carpet repair on this area of carpet and another area that had a chemical spot. Terri gave me Marty's number and we arranged a date for his service. The price is set as a beginning price of $95. Depending upon the actual service, this cost may vary in either direction. Marty arrived and determined that the carpet the cat scratched could actually be stretched and no patching would be necessary. I was impressed on how he actually stretched the carpet to cover the same area that was damaged. He even put down 2 boards under the carpet to make it lie just right. The other area that I mentioned was a chemical stain on the carpet in the living room. Marty explained that if he patched the carpet a seam would appear and the new carpet put down would standout against the existing carpet. (I had carpet to match the current carpet on our floors). He then examined the stained area and using a carpet tool removed {by shaving down}(after discussing with me) the stained area leaving the same color carpet under the stain. Wow! Unless you were aware of where the stain was before, you would not know where it is now. I can highly recommend Terry at Discount Carpet and Tile and Marty Riggs the installer who performed the service. I would not hesitate to use this company again. Remember that you have to go through Terry to get an installer. Marty is as honest and hard working as the day is long. He gave excellent advise, performed in a very professional manner, cleaned up, and gave a fair price. If you need carpet repair, go the same way that I did and you cannot go wrong. One word of advise. When I called several of the companies that Angies List provided, I soon discovered that installers or the company have a minimum for their repair cost. These costs vary and I suggest you shop around as I did. After that of course, the above words will give you the rest of the story and its a keeper for sure!

They did an excellent job as far as customer service goes. The only down side is that we had to pay check/cash for the install and debit/credit card on the materials. It would have been nice to charge everything all on one card. The installer they hired did a great job during installation. Total install time was about 4 hours for 3 bedrooms plus walk-in closet.

Excellent, great value and wonderful service both on the sales and the install. Very helpful, realistic and educational on what to buy and why. Much better than the experience we had with the box stores.

Everyone was very friendly, professional, and helpful. I had some scheduling issues that could have been a problem, but the folks there were very accommodating with all my logistics. The job was completed as scheduled, and both the installation and the carpet were great. The price was also very reasonable. I would definitely use these folks again.

I called Discount Carpet, and they made arrangements for the installer to come on Tuesday, March 4. The installer came on the agreed upon date and did a great job of installation. For more carpet, I would look at no other retailer than Discount Carpet & Tile.

Everything went really well! Both installations they called before they came over to let us know they were on the way. Not many people that do that anymore! Very professional, explained every really well, were kind to our children and dogs. They got all the work done in a reasonable amount of time and cleaned everything really well. From start to finish everything was great. No complaints, and we will be using them again in the future.
