My husband and I drove to Discount Carpet store after work one evening. Traffic was bad, so I called and the owner, xxxx, said he would wait for us. We arrived just minutes before they were scheduled to close, but we were never rushed. After talking about what we wanted in carpet, he scheduled the measurement for the next day (we wanted a quick install). When xxxxx arrived to do the measurements he also brought the carpet samples with him. He measured and we picked our carpet and color. Note: you don't have to go to their store, they will come to you with samples Once the carpet arrived it was quickly and professionally installed. I highly recommend Discount Carpet and Tile

Everything was as planned. Marty came to install the carpet and had to make 2 trips because it was raining on the day of the install, but he wanted to make sure there was absolutely no water in our new carpet. So he had to come to the house and get exact measurements then go back to the warehouse where there was enough room to layout the carpet, cut it to exact measurements so the pieces would fit in his van with the door closed, keeping everything dry. The install went a little long, but I was prepared because they explained the situation and the remedy before the bad weather occurred, so I was ready for the what if's. After the install, Marty cleaned up and it looked better than ever. They take great pride in their business and it really shows.

We had our old carpeting changed out and had installation of new carpeting. They were extremely professional and reliable. Dicount Carpet and Tile called to confirm appointment, showed up on time and did quality work. They even called after installation to make sure everything was correct. I would definitely recommend them to anyone.

They have all been working with him for 15-20 years on average. -- Geting our installer, Willie, was like winning the lottery. The care he took installing the carpeting really showed, especially with the staircase. And Willie is truly an artist at vinyl installation [a lost art these days!]. The entire process couldn't have gone more smoothly, so we are very grateful to both Terry and Willie. I heartily recommend them!

I found Discount Carpet & Tile here on Angie's list and based on their reviews I decided to give them a call. I needed a company that I could work with over the phone or email because I do not live in Orlando. Their website was great because they had pictures of tile I could choose from. I honestly did not expect it to go as well or as easily as it did. When I called, Terry answered the phone and he was very helpful. I explained to him the situation and he knew exactly what was right for me. Once I chose the tile I wanted I dealt with Dennis. He was very helpful and professional. He went out and measured the next day and gave me an estimate. The cost for the measure was 35.00, but they take that off of the invoice. The tile was ordered and once it came in the work was done in 2 days.The entire process took less than a week. Everything was right on schedule as they promised. That is very important to me because this property is a rental. The quality of the work is excellent, I have absolutely no complaints. They also sent me pictures of the finished work as I had requested. I am very pleased with this company and I highly recommend them.

Dennis provided us with a very competitive price, and allowed us to take the sample board home in order to insure the carpet we selected would match up well with the house. Once we agreed to the price an installation date was confirmed. The installer arrived at the scheduled time and discussed the process and the approximate amount of time it would take. His work was excellent, as was his cleanup of the area. We will definitely use Discount Carpet for future flooring needs.

All of our interactions with Terry and his team at Discount Carpet and Tile have always been 100% positive. We have worked with them several times over the years for both our own residences and our investment properties and have always been very pleased with the quality of the products they offer, the prices and the quality installations they provide. Marty has always done a great job installing as well.

It was a great experience working with these guys. We were in a panic to get new flooring put down quickly for a rental that had to be ready in less than a week. They did the measuring, estimating, ordering materials, and installation in time to meet our deadline. Every person we dealt with was friendly, professional, and eager to please. They did what they said they would do; they did it in the time they said it would take; and it cost what they told us it would cost. No surprises, no unexpected problems. We ordered the carpet from Discount Carpet after researching other flooring locations in Orlando. Discount Carpet and Tile was one of a few places that had exactly what we were looking for and offered it at a very reasonable and, as it turns out, the very lowest price. (We would have paid a lot more at the other stores for carpet not exactly what we wanted.) We were not prepared to have all the rooms done at one time so they worked with us to fit into our schedule and the installers showed up exactly as promised. They did an excellent job and were done in less than 5 hours. This included installing over 1200 square feet of carpet in three rooms, several hallways and stairs. We still have two more rooms to finish but they have agreed to return when we are ready. (We have our son back living with us so we are overwhelmed with furniture and boxes.) I definitely recommend Discount Carpet and Tile. They are very friendly and easy to work with. They also do quality work at a very good price.

Terry did the measurement and quote and Marty together with Willie did the installation. They are punctual and professional. They did a good job and we are happy with their work. I highly recommend them.

Discount Carpet does not waste money on a fancy showroom. You can go there or they will send someone to you with the samples. I went to the warehouse since it was close to my office. I was done and out of there in less tan 30 minutes. Saved over $300 on a $1200 patio carpet. The deal was over $1500 at Home Depot and growing for a carpet that was not near the quality I got from Discout Carpet. My home in florida had a septic backu, YUK!. Which after the professional clean up, the home required new carpet and tile. My son helped me with calling, and getting estimates . What a nightmare! We found Discount Carpet and Tile online and decided to give them a call and i'm so glad we did! We worked with Terry, who was not only professional, but a very personable man. He was very helpful in every way and his installers were the same. The carpet & tile selections were vast and of very good quality.They did an outstanding job! I definitely recommend them. The home looks beautiful and feels great on the feet! I wish they had a store in the state of NY..I would have them do my other home there as well! EXCELLENT JOB!! From the initial contact with the business, Dennis who provided the measurement and estimate to Carlos and his team who did the installation it could not have gone any better. Having just had painting done throughout the home, I was concerned in my experience with carpet installers is that they always manage to put marks on the drywall, this was not the case. Upon inspection it turns out, Carlos was very careful in his work and the services provided. In addition, they cleaned up and removed the old carpeting and debris from the area and left it as clean as when they arrived. I will certainly be reaching out to Dennis and this company in the future, as we will be needing a walk-in shower re-tiled. Kenny Golczewski

Knowledge - Terry and Dennis are experts when it comes to the products they stock and spend the time to understand needs and use, together with taking the time to measure and recommend the best way to acheive the right look without having to have too much carpet and a poor finish Price/Schedule - Its very simple with these folks, they beat the competition hands down with simple up front pricing for the products and there are no hidden fees or services, and at the end of the day that is what consumers want. They also keep to time and schedule. When the team said they would do something they did it, and finished the job right on time. Installation - Marty was our installer, and his knowdledge skill and care of wanting to do a professional installation that meets expection showed. He explained all the process and even made sure that we were happy with each of the 4 rooms. They all were flawless and look amazing. He went above an beyond in the installation to make sure that we would have no issues. very skilled guy. Terry at Discount is super quick to respond and very eager to please. He wants to make sure you're happy with every aspect of your contract and goes above and beyond to help. Terry's installer, Willie, is the most amazing and detailed worker ever. He's a perfectionist and doesn't quit until things are just right. He's also just a really good person. Terry special-ordered our sheet flooring to ensure that it would all be from the same production run. Willie got started installing as soon as the flooring arrived. Willie worked every day, most Saturdays, too, and did a fantastic job with a really difficult installation. Terry checked in occasionally and always was available if needed. We had some trouble with the seam sealer Congoleum provided, and without hesitation, Willie tore up 300sf of flooring and installed new flooring Terry provided to make sure the seams were done well. Couldn't be happier with the job, thanks!
