I requested an online quote from numerous companies. I immediately felt comfortable with Marty Olsen of Blue Horizon. He was so knowledgeable of his job. He explained everything that would take place from beginning to end. Each crew that came in to do their part of the job were so nice and professional. Each would answer and explain any questions that I may have had. They went above and beyond their duty and I am extremely pleased with the results. My pool and deck look beautiful! I would definitely call on them for other projects and I would definitely recommend to anyone.

We needed our 15 year old pool resurfaced and I knew enough to put everything "in writing". I drew up a short list of everything I wanted done, pool resurfaced, handrail installed, monthly service charge to maintain the pool coating warranty. I contacted a number of "A" rated pool Contractors on "Angie's List", for an estimate. One Contractor claimed he couldn't remove the existing perimeter tile grout without chipping or breaking the tiles; but couldn't offer any alternate to replacing the tiles at a 50% increase in the contract cost. He further claimed that the coating additive recommended by the coating supplier to improve the durability as determined from field testing, "wasn't necessary"! No response to any details on the "special handrail", and their pool service details were "on their website". The "details" were NOT available in a user friendly format, in much detail. Another Contractor knew very little about the coating they were proposing, and nothing about the handrail or that a special type of stainless steel is preferred for salt pools. Another Contractor simply sent back a postcard describing their services! So it went, that is until I contacted Blue Horizons Pool and Spas, Inc. The salesman, Marty Olsen, covered all the items on my written list in detail, answered all of my questions, and quoted the best price! On day one, the pool preparation Technician. Markus, arrived, and we went over the contract, and off he went. That man's work ethic has to be seen to be believed! All of the tile grout was removed and replaced without any chipped or broken tiles. On day two, the Plaster Crew arrived, and their work ethic was equally impressive. I wished I had saved a lot of my time earlier by just contacting and dealing with Blue Horizon.

After pool was drained tech was able to start the cleaning, even in the rain. He worked until the rain increased such that it was washing the liquid chlorine before it could be useful. While discussing waiting out the rain there was a close lightning hit so he returned first thing the next day to finish the job. The next day after refilling the pool the tech was here punctually to prime and balance the fresh water.

Owner Marty provided a proposal on site during first visit (other companies had to go back to the office and "work it up" - one taking over a week to get us the bid.) While their proposal wasn't the least expensive, Marty's professional demeanor and patience in explaining the process made our decision to select Blue Horizons easier. The project started on time and, in spite of a two day delay in the availability of the paver bricks, was completed on time as promised . As minor issues came up during the course of the work being performed, Marty was immediately responsive in taking steps to to resolve them to our satisfaction; never showing any annoyance at our "nagging". I would not hesitate to recommend Blue Horizons to anyone in the Central Florida area needing such work.

The entire process was impressive, from Marty's proposal to the final touches when Oscar replaced a torn screen. Marty suggested the combination of paver choice and design, pool tile, and pool surface and he is right--it looks good with the brick on my home and the tile on the interior floor leading to the pool. Each crew and individual was easy to have around and highly professional, from the emptying of the pool's water to the chemically balancing of the water added to the pool. This is my new standard for contractor's work quality and professionalism.

I don't really have time to relay the whole story... but everyone showed up on time, did the work well and completely, and gave me good advice; professional; and the only company that I called that didn't hesitate when I asked if they had "pop up insurance"... they were able to prove that without a problem. Other companies I called (3-4) hesitated or ignored me completely... or found another $600 worth of work I "needed". Glad we went with Blue Horizon.

Absolutely incredible experience! Initially I was just getting a "green to clean" service and a new salt chlorinator system which had simply wore out after 10 years. Once I agreed to the quote, they came out and performed the services the very next day. In addition, I decided to add a color changing LED system and have my filter system replaced/repaired. I called a few times to add work to my order or ask for changes and they were very accommodating. Never missed a beat. Kevin was very professional and showed me exactly what I needed and tried to save me money along the way by reusing parts of my filter system if at all possible. Let me tell you, my pool has never looked so good. I am so happy with their service that I am going to hire them to maintain my pool full time. I also have them looking at install pavers at my pool and driveway. I hope their quote is competitive compared to the others I have received because I am sure they would do a great job. I will let you know.

We received a dispatch call first thing in the morning as promised letting us know the time Kevin would be arriving. Kevin arrived as promised. We talked over the details of the problems in length. Work was diagnosed and completed in a timely manor. It was excellent to hire a service provider that had professionalism from the office to the field. We will defiantly use this company on future pool service requirements.

Did not go with company since other contractor quoted the job about 600$ cheaper

From start to finish it took only 4 days. Each segment the staff worked hard and did a great job. They were also very clean. We would recommend them to everyone!!

I had 3 other quotes and they came in at the best price and with their solid reputation, I had no problem choosing them. They showed up on time, emptied the pool and finished the resurface job right on time then coming back over the next week or so to balance the chemicals. Everyone was extremely courteous and pleasant. 2 months later, the pool looks beautiful with no problems at all.

They did work for me on a bank-owned property with a severely green pool. They were punctual and their service and responsiveness were beyond compare. Only one little thing I wish they could've done better on. I had assumed they would do weekly maintainence after their initial work was complete, but -- after they were done with all initial work -- they said it was too far from Longwood to Kissimmee for weekly maintainence, which is true. I just wish they could have told me a bit sooner that they could only go as far as initial repairs. But I must say -- what they did do -- was excellent, and they got a little free technology training in the process.

The entire project went smoother than I expected. This was the second time we have used this company. They resurfaced the pool at our previous home and did an excellent job there as well.

Called on the weekend to have them come out. Got the voicemail, as they're only open M-F (at least the office is), but they called me back first thing Monday morning, and set up an appointment for the next day. The service person was on time, knowledgable, and professional, and helped me out beyond just the issue I had called about. I will definitely be calling them for anything pool related in the future.

It went fine. So, far everything looks great. They have been very good and I would recommend them.

Excellent!! The troubleshooting was expert and right on and the repair went quickly. Marcus was the BH representative and he was an intelligent, personable man who knew his way around pool problems expertly.

Pump broke Thursday evening - called the company early Friday morning - serviceman showed up by noon the same day and provided the pump replacement with no issues. Everyone we have dealt with from office staff to service people are competent, friendly and provide excellent service experiences.

I gathered four estimates before deciding on Blue Horizon. Their professionalism, experience, and price made the decision fairly easy. Marty met with me, answered my questions clearly, and calculated the estimate. There was never any pushiness/drama.Once I'd decided to hire Blue Horizon, I described the tile and paver color/style I was looking for, and Marty brought over samples from which I was able to select exactly what I was looking for. The project started immediately. The crews cleaned up after themselves, not only at the end of the project, but also at the end of each day. The pavers were installed in two days. I was very impressed with the craftsmanship on this and on all aspects of the project. Overall, the process from start to finish went like clockwork. Everyone at Blue Horizons inspired confidence and made it all look effortless. The renovation is absolutely gorgeous-- I couldn't be happier!

We had a great experience with Blue Horizons from start to finish. The owner came out and gave a quote. He was very professional, knowledgeable, and he gave me a lot of references of their past customers. The job was scheduled and started on time. It was easy communicating with the company. They were very organized in getting the job done quickly. We didn't have any surprises. Everything was done as promised. They came back several times after the job was finished and checked the chemicals. They also helped me to install the new robot navigator. They cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely recommend this company.

We had Blue Horizon do the repair and rebuild on our pool, including replacing the deck. Then we decided to hire them to do weekly maintenance. They do a good job - although there are spots under the lip of the pool where algae has set up residence - it's hard to see and needs a good brushing, I think. The guys are wonderfully kind, and they do a very good job.

Project went quickly and as promised. The first day was messy, but they cleaned up before leaving and the actual work was done in three days. Refilling the pool and getting the water chemistry completed took another week.

They come out and do service work for me, they even came out and fixed a leak in my pool for me. They are just very professional, their prices are reasonable, they come when they say they will and they always call ahead of time. They give you a quote.

I was given an appointment for an estimate within a couple of days of my request. After I notified Blue Horizon that we had chosen them, they began working the following week. The process was painless. Each step went as promised. The finish product looks awesome and we are satisfied.
