About us

Blue Horizons was founded in 1993 with a specific goal in mind. Being consumers ourselves, we always wanted to be convinced that there is a sense of confidence and security before entering into an agreement with any company. We felt the most effective way to accomplish this was to first implement a solid foundation. Integrity first and foremost should always be the most important part of any business foundation. In addition, striving to continually improve on customer communication, and a commitment to always insure a higher standard of a completed product. As a result, we are very grateful this has not only allowed Blue Horizons to excel and become a trusted name in the Central Florida community but, has also become one of the leaders in the swimming pool industry. Description of Work: Installed new pump,piping and valve to solve proplems with sucking air, powering solar panels and start-up priming. Drained pool and gave it an acid wash to remove staining. They were very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Description of Work: I called them to get an estimate to resurface my pool. I was told that they do not have appointments on weekends. I travel monday through friday out of state so weekends are the only time I have for making appointments. I was told that someone would still contact me to see if there might be a way to setup an appointment. It has been over a week and still no contact. Sometimes vendors need to be a little flexible to provide good customer service.

Description of Work: pool was resurfaces and lanai and pool deck resurfaced. Because we have pets that tend to use the deck as a "potty", Blue Horizons suggested not using pavers. They resurfaced the lanai and deck and painted it and resurfaced the pool. Everyone who comes to the house comments on how beautiful the area looks. They quoted a firm price,explained the work to be done and how long the whole job would take. The work was done on time with no problems by a professional, friendly staff.

Description of Work: Ken was very knowledgible about pools and pool equipment. He explained in detail how the system worked. He came immediately when we could not get the heater to come on. He gave us an estimate and immediately returned and completed the work very quickly. He was very personable and likeable. The price was high, but I think it was reasonable for a high quality pool heater. I would recommend him highly
