They are very professional. We have used them for years as well as all our neighbors. They are great! They are reasonably prices for the services performed.

Our experience was great. They were very organized, friendly and cleaned up after themselves. I would definitely hire them again.

The crew was very professional, polite, worked quickly, and did an excellent job of cleaning up the debris from all the trimming. We were very satisfied and would hire them again.

The guys came out earlier than expected and were able to trim the tree successfully. I had no problems and they cleaned up everything before leaving. They even checked out a tree for me in my backyard and determined it needed to be removed because it was dying. They were very quick with the job and extremely knowledgeable about the cuts of the tree. They even spoke with us about the different symptoms of a dying tree and information on when a tree would need to be removed. I appreciated all of their business. The only negative I would add is they had a new employee and he did a little back talking to another worker, but they were all very professional with me. Overall, I would hire A Sun State Tree Service again and will probably have them back to remove my other tree.

This company hard sells you then after they are hired, are very unprofessional, unresponsive, and the quality of the work is spotty. The sales person was quick to respond to my first call. Came out right away and gave me a quote. He told me a bucket truck would be needed because the tree was near power lines and he'd have a large crew do the job in a few hours. The day the work was scheduled to take place a two person crew showed up with no bucket truck. The "climber" called the office and told them the job was too big and complicated for a climb and rope technique... thus bucket truck needed. Job was then rescheduled. They came out with bucket truck a week later. That crew did good work, but stump grinding and haul away was a disaster. First, they ground the stump a week after they said, then the haul away truck with crane cut the power lines and took off without telling anyone. Live lines were on the street! I was away travelling on business and could not take care of this... again due to scheduling issues on their part... I would have been in town otherwise. My neighborhood was without power for 4 hours and the tree company never called me to acknowledge or apologize. They then left the stump grindings for two weeks. I had to keep calling. Then I found the stump not ground enough to lay sod without a big hump on the yard, so I called them back to do more grinding. Yet again it took them two weeks to remove the mulched grindings. Oh, forgot, the sales guy came to collect the money while the tree was being cut. Now I know why. He knows they are poor performers and I would not have paid until job was done. I trusted them and should not have. Once you pay, you have no leverage, so don't pay until work is done.

We hired Sunstate because my neighbor's tree fell into my yard and we needed it removed. Sunstate worked with me and my neighbor so well and worked out the cost for both of us. I also had them to do some other work in my yard. They were great, did a great job cleaning up all of the debris, and was organized and neat during the whole process. These guys didn't monkey around they came in got to work and had this done in no time.

! They were late arriving. I was told they would arrive in the morning, they arrived after 4 pm. They did an ok job, they cleaned up well. However, they were coming back the next day to pick up the remaining cutoff, and they did not show up, NOR DID THEY CALL. i had to call, and they finally showed up. next was stump grinding. i called to find out when the stump grinding would happen, the lady said they would call back and tell me the date and time, THEY NEVER CALLED, I called back after the weekend on a Monday, I was told I was on the schedule for that Monday. THEY NEVER SHOWED UP OR CALLED. i called back on friday and threatened to do a credit card charge back, they arrived within the hour and completed the work. From my experience, once they get your money, they dont care. if you use them dont pay until all the work is completely done. The workers were nice, the management is is horrible.

They seemed cheerful, but slightly rushed. I was the last one on the list as it was the end of the day and they were tired. I wanted them to trim another tree and they just barely got at it. They really tried, but missed the mark a bit.

They showed up on schedule and proceeded right away in taking down the tree. They removed most of the tree but were unable to take the largest limbs at that time. They placed the logs out by the road and said they would return that evening or the next day to pick them up. Three days and some phone calls later, they came and removed the large logs. Overall, I was pleased with the job they performed.

Went very well, nice experience, very good work

The crew showed up on Wednesday morning as scheduled and I went over the requirements with them. They proceeded with the tasks and fulfilled my every concern and were finished by mid afternoon. They trimmed four large oaks , removed one scrub oak, two cherry trees and two palm trees, mulched and removed all debris. Their stump grinder returned on Tuesday of the following week to remove the stumps..

They showed up quickly and seemed knowledgeable, but gave an estimate that was by far the most expensive.

Well they showed up on time, and started right away. At first I was very happy with the progress, but as it progressed I noticed they were rushing and getting very sloppy with their cuts. Instead of small short cuts, they were cutting 10 to 15 ft sections at a time. Now I have had tree work done before and had never seen this technique. Mostly because it is dangerous. Well, within about 20 minutes after they started working the destruction of my yard began, and the worse part they didn't care. They hit and damaged my Screen enclosure, not only tearing many panels of screen, they compromised the integrity of the frame. They then proceded to flatten my expensive LED lighting around my pool encloser, they flattened my garden beds of Tropical plants, they ripped up my lawn by dragging enormous branches, and they damaged my entry gate to my back yard. So I called the office to report the damage.They said someone would be out shortly to assess the damage. Well no sooner did I call the office, the crew swiftly started packing, leaving me with a ton of debris all over my lawn, and large branches they had dropped in my neighbors yard, which was very embarrasing. So guess what I had to spend hours cleaning up their mess. So I figured they would call me and arrange a time to come out and go over the damage. Well some time passed, and still nothing, I had even called the office to follow up and they said they would have someone call me back. Well, about a month later a strange man in an unmarked white truck pulls into my Driveway asking to see my back yard. First off I have no idea who this man is, he did not mention who he was affiliated with upon arrival, only when I asked did he give me the information. I then proceded to tell him that he would need to make an appointment with me and not just show up at my home, I was on my way out for the day. So again, no communication from anyone at A SUN STATE TREES, this continued on for 2 months, then the salesman got with me on the phone about an outstanding balance for the contracted work. I proceeded to let him now that I was still waiting for someone to come out see the damage. HE then went on to complain about how the company was going down hill and he apologized for the misunderstanding. So, he gave me the impression that he would be taking care of the situation, especially after I explained to him that the damage to my property exceeded the price of the tree cutting. Well another three weeks went by, still nothing until one day I get a call from a family member in my home stating their was a strange man in our backyard looking around,and considering my backyard is gated it was upsetting to my family member. I came to find out that A SUN STATE TREE had sent the salesman into my backyard to make his own estimate, who are they to be giving estimates anyway. Well I called the salesman and made it very clear how upset I was, and that I was tempted to bring in the authorities for the property tresspass. Well That finally got the office attention, but instead of the owner trying to help the situation by trying to figure out how we got to this point, he began adding fuel to the fire, calling me obscene names stating I was a deadbeat trying to avoid paying my bill, which was completely wrong, I was more than willing to pay my bill, but only after they took care of the damge to my property. Well the owner continued his rant, telling me he would bring all the tree debris back to my home and dump all over my front yard. Meanwhile I am trying to get a resolution to my yard Damage, he then shouts back did you read your contract ? Well honestly I did breeze through it when I signed it, thinking nothing like this would happen. Well I flipped over the contract and read the fine print, and guess what, according to the contract he was free and clear of any responsibilty of damage. What kind of company does that ? its crazy. I Have been in the service industry 30 years, and I have never seen such a bad example of Customer No-Service. After a long heated phone call we agreed to have his Team make some of the repairs, as stated in the contract, and negotiated with the salesman to drop the amount I owed to $450. If you do decide to choose this company to do work for you, make sure you read the fine print on the cotract before signing on the dotted line.

They came by, gave me an estimate within a couple days of calling them, they did a great job and the cost was $350 - which, considering the height of the tree and it had not been professionally trimmed in over 10 years, I thought was a fair price. It was $100 less than another estimate and those people did not contact me again until about 8 weeks later. The tree guys on Angies list didn't contact me back at all. They also gave me good advice on what kind of grass I could plant in the yard underneath the tree - but to wait until spring. I would recommend them, they did a great job and had an arborist. I called them during "busy" season - in Sept before hurricane season and got prompt, polite and friendly service.

The second time I had a branch that was broken. He was going to charge $150 for one branch and last time he charged $600 for about 5 trees. He said he couldn’t climb a tree for less than $150. I would never use them again. I didn’t care for his attitude. The original job they did was good and the original guy they sent out was nice. When they do the work they do a good job.

Their service was very good. I have used them quite a bit for tree removals, trimming trees, stump removals and more. I have been very satisfied with them. They are punctual and very professional.

I wouldn’t use them again based on the second experience.
