I was having my kitchen cabinets replaced and I also wanted the plumbing replaced. I contacted Dunstan to do the work. The experience was top notch from the time of my original call to the estimate to the actual repairs. The work was accomplished in two stages by two different technicians and both times they arrived on time were very polite, professional and the work was done quickly. I have also gone to their shop to purchase plumbing supplies and the staff is very nice to deal with. I highly recommend them.

He removed the old double sink, replaced it with a single sink I purchased. He had to cut part of the countertop to get the new sink to fit. Did a great job. He was joined by someone else, who had a vacuum so the dust and scraps could be caught and not fly into the house. Everything was cleaned up before he left the house. Great job. Had never seen a sink put in before. He also replaced a faucet in the bathroom sink. Would recommend this company to anyone who needed a plumber. I will use Dunstan in the future when needed. The date of service is an approximate as is the cost of the service. Sink has not leaked since it was put it. The plumber who did the work is very personable and knowledgeable. Give Dunstan an A+.

It went well and he worked quickly. When it was determined we needed a new faucet, he got out his book and showed us the choices. We chose one of the lesser expensive ones and it still cost us $290. We have used Dunstan's for bathroom plumbing too- new faucet on shower and both toilets needed repair after they were removed for new tile floor. Apparently when the house was built the plumbers involved jammed the toilets into place, damaging the place where the toilet fits onto the pipe. It wasn't noticeable until the toilet had to be removed, but then it wouldn't fit and we needed a plumber to come and repair it. They came quickly, as we had no working toilets!

The service at Dunston plumbing from my first phone call until the completion of the work was first class. I was greeted warmly by the service desk, and they were very friendly when discussing my needs. The technicians that came to the house to disconnect my plumbing were on time worked quickly and were very personable. They had to return on the next day to reconnect everything and replaced all hoses and the trap. On the second day they replaced my toilet and showed me there was a problem with the bolts holding the toilet left from some service done before I purchased the home. The technician explained what was needed to be done to correct it and did a first class repair. I highly recommend them for any plumbing needs that you may have, and if needed I would not hesitate to call them again.

Lamar, Ray and crew were fantastic from start to finish. They rolled with the changes that took place, referred a great tile person to re-do the master shower, and put in beautiful fixtures, doors, etc.

This job went great! Dunstan did everything I needed them to do promptly and correctly. I bought a used mobile home with a functional water heater in the standard location: a corner of the master bedroom closet with an access panel outside near the utility shed. However, the home inspector couldn't look at the water heater because the previous owner's A/C company had installed the new whole house A/C unit right up against the access panel and bolted it there. In the event of a water heater malfunction, the only way to get to it was to take down the panel and studs in the master bedroom closet. Since that was not going to be convenient once I moved in, I decided to have a new unit put in the utility shed, and have the old one drained and removed through the closet wall. This took care of two potential problems at once, replacing the older water heater with a newer and larger unit, and eliminating the need to perform the destruction on an emergency basis in the event of a failure or flood. Dunstan removed the stud to get the old water heater out, rerouted the plumbing, and installed the brand new water heater in the utility shed where access is guaranteed. The only thing my handyman had to do then was to replace the stud and reinstall the closet wall panel. Since I was 1000 miles away at the time getting my old home ready for the market, I worked with Dunstan's long-distance. They were so responsive. I had a quote within a day, and the work was completed in one day only a couple of days after the quote. The quote included all parts and labor. There have been no problems at all, so I have not had need to call them back for anything related to this job. You can be sure, however, that when it is time to install my instant hot water unit in the kitchen, and have any other major plumbing jobs done, that I will be calling Dunstan.

I have used their services several times. I am very happy with their services. Although, their prices are too high.

It went very well and I am happy with the quality of work. I did not get a written estimate. The verbal estimate was close to the amount I paid. The difference was the amount for the total job or the amount for the labor only. Great work. Great everything.

We were very pleased. we have two main drain as we have an addition to our house. He worked in the rain on the first drain, which was not clogged. He then moved to the second, in the poring rain to the second and spent 20 min. unclogging it !! We were very happy with the results

I have described the recent experience with Dunstan in the box provided above. The technician arrived a little late than scheduled, but on the same day I called. He greeted me, and went straight to work on the job at hand. We called because the disposal we had been using was making an unusual noise and we had determined that something was jammed in between the floor of the unit and the wall. Dunstan made a quick assessment, and reported that the disposal had not been installed correctly initially, and that he was surprised we had not had more leaks than the one we had already experienced. I told him to install a new unit, which he had brought along as a contingency, and he set to work installing the new unit. In a fairly short period of time the new disposal was installed, and the technician called me in to the kitchen to verify it was working properly and to my satisfaction. I paid the price for labor and for the disposal itself, which I found to be reasonable.

They were very good. They were neat and thorough. They were on time and cleaned up after themselves.

I called Dunstan & Son Plumbing at around 6:30 pm the plumber called me back within minutes of speaking with the answering service. He told me he was finishing a job a couple of towns over but that he'd come over within an hour and a half. He arrived within the time he had established and promptly got to work. By 10:00 pm the job had been completed and tub was back in business. He was very courteous and professional, and most importantly reasonably priced. I am glad I called them and will not hesitate to call them again for any plumbing emergency.

From the day I called for an estimate through the day of completion, my experience with Dunstan Plumbing was very positive. Because I have used the company consistently during my twelve years at this address, I was confident of their work and professionalism. What surprised me was the amazing follow-through on every detail, from the new water heater to the hose bib! The communication, both by telephone and in person, was excellent. Comments and suggestions were put in the language homemakers understand and details were verified in an on-time manner. Because the job involved a three-day holiday weekend, Dunstan Plumbing even offered to hook up the washer and dryer temporarily, before the job reached final completion, so I would not be inconvenienced. It's important to mention that the workers did a great job of cleaning up before leaving, each and every day. They kept me informed as to what was happening when and always, always were gentlemanly. In considering the job, I requested three estimates. One was very slow coming in and was 25% higher than Dunstan. The second estimate, from a competing plumbing company, was never completed. My satisfaction with Dunstan Plumbing's employees, Lamar and Ray, has led me to request an estimate on improvements in my bathroom and I know the resulting experience will be equally positive.

The Work performed was done professionally, and on time. The Tech Tony was friendly and polite. I will use this company again.

I was the guardian of a little old lady who was a hoarder. She had not been able to use her toilet for probably 3 years. Dunstan's did a good job. Got there when they said they would be there. Completed the job on time. And did not overcharge. Thank goodness, I haven't needed the services of a plumber since.

They're not looking to make money, they fix what actually needs to be done. They don't pester you. They're reliable. They're reasonably priced.
