The movers (Russell & Robinson) were very polite and extremely caring of my belongings. The move went very well.

It was excellent.It was great. I'll grade them A plus if I could. The price was good. Excellent, superior responsiveness. Punctuality was excellent. Whatever the estimate that they gave was, when we spoke we had special circumstances because of where we lived but that was all fine. They did follow up calls with me to confirm and to walk through if everything was covered. The staff who did the move was very, very professional.

Punctual, crew of two showed up, quick 2 minutes with the paperwork and atackted the work. Very fast and efficient. Delivered bed to friends house, then met me at storage place and unloaded and placed other Items in storage..

The two gentlemen that came to due the actual move were excellent. My problem is with the price bait & switch. I was quoted $190.00 with a possible $25.00 TV fee for two movers for two hours. I thought this was a good quote, so I chose Jochas for my move and put down a $106.00 deposit. I elected to have them move one TV as well, and the total move time was just short of two hours. So, I was expecting the cost to be $190.00 + $25.00 = $215.00. I put $40.00 on the tab for a tip to the two movers, which would put the cost at $255.00, right? Well, when I got the total bill, the cost was $288.04 (including the $40.00 tip). I expected a little bait and switch - $33.00 more than I expected to pay would have been okay, considering. BUT I was charged the $288.04 ON TOP of the $106.00 deposit, which I assumed would have been deducted and was not! SO $394.04 total on a bill that should have been $255.00. I really feel bad for the movers themselves - they were so professional and respectful to me and my belongings. I wish the company they worked for had similar ethics that they displayed!

I hired two movers for two hours from Groupon at a discounted rate. The office personnel did an amazing job fitting me in to their schedule and I greatly appreciated it! I didn't realize that I would have to pay more fees outside of what Groupon charged me though. I ended up paying about $85 for gas and a second floor fee after already paying Groupon $139 for the moving services. The movers were very professional and kind! They arrived pretty early within my four hour window for service. He had my sign the paperwork and wrote the time we began. They packed up my furniture and brought my items down and in to the truck fairly quickly. However, when driving to the new location they got separated from me and ended up arriving later than I did. I thought things would've gone more quickly unpacking the stuff from the truck since this location was actually on the first floor. But we were almost out of time so I actually ended up helping to take my things out of the truck and carry them inside. This still wasn't enough because we ran out of time and they were unable to reassemble my bed within the two hour period I hired them for.. The administrative staff already informed me that I would have to pay $75 for every additional half hour so I allowed them to leave without setting up my bed. I ended up hiring someone else from Craigslist to set it up for me. Overall this experience wasn't bad but the fact that I didn't have that many things and the job was unable to be fully completed leads me to the conclusion that I would rather not work with this moving company again. My opinion still remains that they were very professional and kind!

I have not had a lot of experience with mover's in the past, but this company definitely made the process very smooth and easy. My mother was moving out of town and no matter who I talked to at JoChas, everyone knew what was going on was on the same page. I spoke with the owner and he was very patient in answering any questions that I had about the process and their pricing. Everything was very clear on the phone and matched up with the confirmation email they sent. It was also nice to hear that they were thinking about opening an office in Orlando which is where the move was going to. On the day of the move, the movers were on time. Before starting, they again explained what their process was and made sure that everything was very clear before beginning. Melvin and Benson were great. Both were very nice, respectful, patient, and hard working. From the moment they started the clock until they finished loading up, they did not stop and were very careful with every item. They wrapped fragile pieces that needed it and were also accommodating to any requests. When unloading, they had the same work ethic, which I appreciated. There was no hanging around and amazingly they didn't take any breaks. The only thing I would suggest is that they would be a little more conservative with their time estimates/quotes. We were moving to an area that would take about 4 hours to drive to (without stopping) going the normal speed limit. We were quoted for 6 hours. I already knew that it would take more time before beginning, but it still would have been nice to have something a little more realistic for my mother. Even on the confirmation email, all that was stated was the fuel charge and the promotion for 3 hours. Still, everything was clear enough that it was pretty easy to figure out what the cost would approximately be. Everything lined up and they met my high expectations. I would gladly use them again for any move I have. Melvin and Benson were excellent and would recommend either one, any time.

Both times, they did a great job. They charge a fair price and are very careful with your belongings. Nothing was broken in either move and nothing went missing. This is a trustworthy company. Melvin was my foreman both times and was very polite. My only suggestion would be to buffer their estimate from time to complete the move. JoChas charges per hour for every hour over their initial estimate. They estimated it would take 3hrs to move me out of a 3 bedroom and it ended up taking 6. They all worked very hard and I was okay with paying for the extra time. I just would have liked a better estimate up front.

They were awesome. On time and very efficient. We had a great team! We will be using them to move again!

From first contact to final departure, these guys were great. Charles was very helpful during the booking and pre-moving phase as I had lots of questions (haven't moved in 20 years!) Melvin and his team were fantastic onsite. Punctual, pkeasant, professional. Very pleased with their work and the overall experience.

They are the best movers I have ever had. They were on time, their crew were exceptionally nice and so considerate. I had no damage to any of my furniture. I highly recommend them.

Excellent moving experience. The movers called in advance to confirm arrival time. They arrived on time. They were professional, courteous, efficient. This is the second time I use this company and will use them again. They were careful with the furniture and nothing was damaged.

They didn't call me to arrange the move details. I finally called them 13 days after the purchase. The person I spoke with was very polite and tried to be helpful, but unfortunately gave me misinformation and neglected to document some of the information I provided to her. She said my preferred date was available but then 30 minutes later, realized 'the system' had mixed up my dates with another customer's dates and it turns out my preferred date was NOT available. She also mistakenly disconnected our call about half way through. Very frustrating, but I had already invested 45 minutes, so we waded through all the remaining details. I finally decided to request a refund since there was a surprise fuel surcharge ($165) which appeared on the contract they sent to me via email. I refused to sign and asked for an explanation in writing. The contract also contained an odd cancellation policy. I wrote multiple emails asking them to clarify some of the strange contract terms, but had no luck in getting details clarified. I guess they are used to people not reading the contract terms. The owner was supposed to call me to 'answer my questions', but he never did. Overall, this was a very unprofessional interaction. Who knows what other surprises might have popped up on move day. I think I may have dodged a bullet.

Moving....about as enjoyable as simultaneously getting a root canal procedure without anesthesia and a colonoscopy with a barbed wire camera. There are few things worse. There are numerous moving companies. Some good, some bad, some a total nightmare. As I was calling and interviewing movers, I had an opportunity to chat with Jo, one of the owners of JoChas. I immediately sensed her honesty by the way she answered my questions. Though they were not the cheapest, I felt her quotes were realistic, unlike a lot of "bait and switch" operators out there. They were everything you could want in movers, and then some. They confirmed and reconfirmed. They were on time, and I had a representative stay in touch with me during the process to make sure everything was going well. The crew chief, Dave was incredible, as was his son, Dave, Jr. Any fragile items were carefully wrapped and handled as though it belonged to them. The entire crew worked efficiently and constantly. Even though the entire experience of moving is unpleasant, JoChas did everything possible to make it as palatable as possible. I'll probably be moving again in a year or so, and there is no doubt who I'm going to use again. Thank you, JoChas.

Service was great. First time around, Oliver and Benson came to move me out of my apartment and second time around, Oliver came again with someone else (can't remember the name). They were within the time window, very careful carrying delicate things and overall, I would definitely use them again. Thanks again!

It went great! This was actually the 2nd time we used Jochas. This review is for both moving experiences with Jochas. We used them to move into the 2-bdrm villa (2yrs ago) we just moved out of. They did such a great job on that move we used them for this move. They were punctual, professional and handled our belongings with respect and care. We had a storage unit and they had to go there after loading our belongings and they did not complain. They did not stall or take their time in order to run up the clock. They moved fast. They extremely polite and courteous. We ordered pizza for ourselves and extra for them. They did not stop working to eat. They said, "We're on your clock. It's your money. We'll eat when we finish." Amazing! And it wasn't just the movers that were wonderful. The ladies, which I am very sorry to say I have forgotten their names. I think Barbara was one I'm really sorry I can't remember their names b/c they were super sweet and nice. They patiently answered my questions and concerns. They were funny and kind. I even spoke to the owner and he was very nice. I have used movers 3 times in my life (2 of those times with Jochas). The one move not with Jochas, was horrific. They dented my TV, took their time and went over the hours prearranged. The movers were rude and lazy. So I was very reticent to use movers again. Jochas changed that. I can't recommend them enough. If you're movin, call Jochas!

Overall I would say it was for sure a great experience. Especially when it comes to making sure none of your fragile or valuable items are at risk to damage or destruction during a move. I made the mistake once before of having my dad and brother do my first move and ended up with scratched up wood furniture. I learned my lesson and wanted PROS this time around. They were friendly and fast and I will use them again in the future.

The entire process was EXCEPTIONAL. The movers arrived at the time they stated, they were professional, courtesy and put me at ease from the moment they arrived. They packaged my furniture and cared for it as though it were their own. Everything about my experience with Jochas was seamless. The care and attention to detail was without a doubt second to none. The staff in the office when making the arrangements and the movers were excellent. The office even called me during the move to ensure that all was going well and if I needed anything. Nothing was too much for them. Jochas is an A+++++ company and I would use them again and definitely recommend, I can't say enough good things about my experience with Jochas

I was so pleased with the service that I called to speak with the owner to relay my satisfaction with the service I was provided by the two movers who came to my house. That is when I found out it is a family business and they were her sons who came to me. I told her that I would recommend their services to anyone I know who are in need of movers. They really did go out of their way to please me. If there were a higher rating than A that I could give Jochas Moving, I would. I was that pleased.

The movers were very professional and friendly. They took excellent care of my furniture by wrapping all pieces in blankets and some nifty long rubberbands instead of tape. They loaded and unloaded the furniture and boxes quickly and efficiently. None of my furniture was broken or damaged! Everyone I've spoken to at their office is very polite and helpful. I will continue to use JoChas Movers in the future. I always refer them to my friends and family since I have no doubt that they will have wonderful experiences as well! 5 stars

Today was a very stressful day for me moving. I became very nervous thinking everything would go wrong and guess what it did. But I thank God for Jochas Moving and my movers. I had the pleasure of having two great movers Quincy and Russell who were so polite and helpful. I watched them wrap each fragile item and treat it like it was their own furniture. I had a few issues in the end but Jochas took the time to work with me and get everything taken care of. I would never choose another company. This is my third time using them and I can not see myself going to anyone else. Thank you Jochas! You are truly God sent. Moving is always so stressful but it helps when you have an amazing moving company. Thank you again Quincy and Russell you both were great!
