Very disappointed with the customer service received. After booking a local move with a week notice, on the day of the move, we were scheduled to move my 78 year old mother-in-law's 1 bed room furniture from her apartment to our home nearby). The time window was 11-3 pm and at first we were told when it was booked that it would probably would not take that long within the time frame. Something came up with a previous move and we were rescheduled to 3-5 pm. Then around 5 pm we were told that we could wait for a very late pick up or reschedule for the next day. My mother-in-law told them she would wait since she needs to vacate the apartment the next day. I demanded a call from a supervisor to guarantee us first move of the day the next day, they could not commit to this either and of course, the call from a supervisor never happened. We were ditched by a text message saying that they were deciding to cancel the move and refund our money. Now we are scrambling to get a same day moving company to get us moved. Horrible experience.

Over the course of a week, I spoke with Charles in Orlando about my upcoming move. He seemed incredibly personable on the phone, so I decided to go with them. I am beginning to wish I didn't. When we booked the move, Charles told me that we would start my move between 10am - noon. He even told me that the movers would show up closer to the 10am side of the window because it was a slower day. I showed up at the house early that morning to get everything I could staged and ready for the movers. Charles calls me about 10:30am and tells me that the movers are at another move and my new window is now noon - 2pm. Around 2pm, I call back and Charles says the movers aren't finished with the 1 bedroom apartment yet. Then it's 3:30pm, and I start calling because I'm ready to cancel the move and get a UHaul and try to do it myself. I am a disabled vet and am willing to try to move a 5bedroom house myself because I feel like I could have it done by the time the movers even showed up. As I'm calling at 3:30pm, Charles stops answering my calls. In fact - To this day, I haven't had Charles answer the phone, call me back, or respond to my emails. The movers finally showed up just before 4pm, to START a 5 bedroom house move. When I talked to Charles on the phone to set this move up, I even upsold myself and asked to have another mover help because I knew we had a lot of stuff. I was weary because I wasn't sure that all of our items would fit on the truck and Charles over and over insisted that everything would fit and even went as far as to say, "This is the biggest truck you can drive before you need a CDL, We'll make it fit". So, the movers start moving our things and pack the truck to the ceiling - Come to find out, it doesn't all fit. We had an entire garage that was left at the house, the kitchen table, the master bedroom's furniture... At this point, it took 4 hours to get the truck loaded and we head to the new house. The guys are already tired. It's 8pm, they've been working since 6am. They are apparently become less and less careful with our belongings. Our coffee table was taken off a 4 wheel dolly, stood on its side, then swiveled to fit into the doorway, while scratching the face on the concrete. Our playroom shelves, are so wobbly, that we can't even put them up anymore because they'll just fall right down. Our dining room table, that was noted was probably the most important piece of furniture in the house, was walked right into the corner of the drywall, leaving a nice dent. The gymnastics beam was placed on top of everything in the truck, which then scratched and ripped the fabric on the roof, down the entire beam. These are the things we have found so far, but they will make sure to make you sign a release as soon as you want that clock punched stating no damages were caused from the move. This company is money hungry. They don't care about you and they don't care about your belongings. Just because you found a Groupon for them, doesn't mean that's what the cost will be. If you are looking to do a large move, 3 br house or more, this is not the company for you. You will end up spending over a grand like I did, and half of your stuff will be at the original home. Charles, when you read this, just know I don't want anything from you, but if I can help someone overlook your company and not fall for your lies over the phone, I'll be happy. You're a cheat and based on the reviews I see on this page, it doesn't seem like too many others are happy with you or your company either. TLDR; The movers will show up 5-6 hours late. You will pay FAR more than you expected. Your belongings will be trashed. Charles will simply laugh at your emails while he counts your money. Find another moving company, you'll be glad you did.

Glass table top was damaged. After many phone calls and emails company agreed to pay for replacement top Company to date ( over a year) has not paid and will not reply to emails..Tired of chasing and being stonewalled

Had to hire more movers to finish the job as they could not get it done in time. Was told on the phone that they could move furniture with clothes in drawers etc. since not going far. This was totally wrong and took time away from moving out of condo losing elevator. Stressed to the max had to find additional movers on holiday weekend. The quick budgeted move cost 2X. Much better movers out there. Pay attention to the reviews. Don't do what I did.

Absolutely incredible!!! These two young men was professional, efficient, VERY STRONG, and took excellent care of the mahogany desk and hutch which are extremely large - more than six feet across and about 7 feet tall and pure wood so extremely heavy. They also had excellent senses of humor!!!

Dave, Jamie and Vivian handled my move and they were AWESOME!!! It was a hot & humid day, there were issues with the elevator, but they did not allow these things to affect their work. They treated my belongings with care and attention, they were fast and efficient and I couldn’t have asked for more. And their pricing was more than fair!!! I would definitely use them again!!!

Generally okay with no major disasters. The time estimate was off by 1 1/2 hours resulting in additional charges.. The driver appeared to be inexperienced. He shrugged off my suggestion to laterally secure 3 tabletops which had been loaded in such a way that if the truck made a hard right turn the tops would shift against each other and potentially cause damage. The tops did indeed shift and were leaning over against each other on arrival at the destination. Have not yet inspected them for damage. On arriving at destination and backing up to a loading dock the driver hit a support pillar damaging both the truck and the pillar. It could have been avoided had the driver looked at the passsenger side rear view mirror when backing in. On unloading at the destination, three fully packed cardboard boxes were soaked from water. No acknowledgement or reason given. Will not use this company again.

The movers overall were decent. However, they dropped a piece of my furniture and broke its leg. When approached about he issue, their sarcasm about utilizing gorilla glue was not appropriate. I was informed this issue would be discussed with the manager and handled, however, I never heard from anyone regarding this issue.

They wrapped the grandfather clock and curio cabinets like any other piece of furniture rather than having special coverage for this fragile items. Additionally, I told the guys ahead of time how the bumps were in the community so they should have done extra preparation in securing them. When we got to the house, one of the glass panels was out of the grandfather clock. The one guy fixed it but I think it should not have happened. A buffet was set on side and a piece of wood came loose. The guy pounded it down but it will need glued I am really thankful that I took all my boxes over with breakable items ahead of time and did not rely on any one using special care to handle them.

The movers were very professional, polite, and did an excellent job for us. I have already recommended JoChas to a coworker. Even with the time overage, the price was less than four other movers quoted for the job.

We had a great experience with Jochas moving company. My mother-in-law previously used Jochas to move her garage and patio furniture to a new place and they were complete with their project in under an hour! She referred the company to us for an efficient and budget-friendly moving solution and I am so glad she did. It took just under three hours for the three movers to load the moving truck with our furniture and belongs, travel 10 miles north, and unload our items. I am halfway through unpacking and nothing has been broken or damaged from the move. Dave was our lead team member and we also had Charles and Gyasi to help us move. They were professional and very kind. Thank you!

They were well worth the money! They were in time and prompt. The movers worked at a fast pace. The office staff verified all details before the move and they disclosed all costs. I would definitely recommend them.

It went very well! Selwyn and Uganda were great guys and I would highly recommend them any time. While getting ahold of Jochas can sometimes be difficult via phone, they are responsive via email and are more than helpful when you can reach them. Overall I would highly recommend Jochas for your moving needs!

Wonderful experience!!!! Price-value of this company is great. Other moving companies wanted to charge me the same rates as a full apartment/house move (including 2 hour minimum) just to pick up a piece of relatively small furniture and deliver to my apartment less than 2 miles away ($300+). JoChas charged a very appropriate amount for the scale of service ($85). They were also available on extremely short notice, and were very responsive to my online inquiry as I received a phone call within the hour--and on a Sunday no less! I was very pleased I could reach someone on the weekend to discuss costs and schedule. I was worried that the significantly lower costs than competitors would result in lower quality of service but I had no reason to be worried. Kevin and Terrel were extremely professional, polite, friendly, punctual, and did a fantastic job. One of the most pleasant experiences I've ever had with a moving company/service (and I've hired at least 4-5 other companies over the past few years). Would HIGHLY recommend!!!

It went very well the gentlemen that came were very nice and they were very careful with the equipment. I had just used JoChas a couple of weeks prior to move my home so because they did such a great job there I hired them again for my business to move the exam table. I would use them again if I have the need.
