Description of Work: Showed up on time but with equipment I'll suited to move a 3 br townhouse full of furniture and appliances. They used a small add on trailer that was difficult to maneuver and hard to hook up which added unnecessary time. Also had a ramp that would not slide back in, again added time ( they charge for extra hours). Damage was done to several expensive pieces of furniture which the owner assured me would be repaired and he has never followed up with me even after I contacted him several times. Movers tried to force a refrigerator through my front door and scratched the handles which I showed them how to remove after I yelled for them to stop. Owner never quoted me the total at the end of the move and when I called to ask how much went on my charge, he didn't recall and suggested I call my credit card company! The guys were nice but from equipment issues to response from the owners, I had to rate them an "F". Luckily my move was close or it would have been even more costly. Took 3 trips to complete the move due to size of equipment.

Response from JoChas Moving & Delivery
The client states work completed may 27, today is june third. We have communicated several times so I could get a technician to come repair any minor problems the client mentioned in the last 48 hrs. I put in a call to both him and his roommate , but I'm still waiting his response. To respond to the clients comment on a small add on. The client booked this job with us at the last second so all of our trucks were booked except the 16ft truck, and our custom 16ft enclosed trailer. This trailer is 8 ft tall 7.5 ft wide the same dementions as our box truck giving the client 36 ft of truck. The standard moving truck is 26ft long. Prior to booking the job the client was given that information. The client moved less than a mile, and the only reason why one guy went back to the house while the other two continued to work at the new place was to pick up a few loose items the roommates couldn't make up there mind about. Upon completion of the job the client is given the option on how they would like to pay. He was given the price asked how and to what email address he would like his receipt to go to. A deposit was not taken on this job because it was scheduled and done within 36hrs. So we had no card on file, which means a card was given upon completion of a satisfied customer. No one would give there card information to be ran on a move, or anything without knowing the price. I will reach out to the clients once again to send a technition to make any repairs to the items they say were scratched in the move. No move is perfect, but jochas will continue to do everything in its power to keep all of our clients satisfied

Description of Work: They brought furniture and several boxes of articles to my 1st-floor condo from the condo across the hall, which belonged to my brother until he died in April 2013. I had had recent surgery, and could not lift anything heavy. Both young fellows were very polite, understanding and cooperative.

Description of Work: We had the team come to our condo for an hour when everyone else wanted to so a 2 hr minimum. Jochas was flexible, fast and efficient in moving us downstairs. He called prior and let us know that he preferred a cash payment. No problem. The one hour move was so efficient, even mom was impressed. Everything was done with care and there was no slacking like in other folks we've used.
