They turned up ten minutes early and moved everything very quickly, efficiently and again in a very professional and pleasant manner. They packed the van methodically ensuring space and time were not wasted. We were only moving locally but they managed to have everything into our new house (and more or less in the room it was meant to be in) by lunch time which completely exceeded my expectations based on our previous move with less stuff. Everything was handled carefully. I will definitely use them again and could not recommend them strongly enough.

Used him and his team and they did a fantastic job in a difficult situation. Moving between apt buildings with elevator problem is always a tough task and we were short on time in the second building. He and his team hustled all day to get the job done and even brought in a 4th person to get it done! Thank you for your hard work!

Nothing was going right on my move day, EXCEPT GM Van Lines. They were accommodating to my schedule, they came on time, they were personal, and took good care of my furniture. It was so nice not having to worry about asking friends and family for help. I would definitely recommend this company and use them again!

Very good services Very honest

I checked cheaper movers, but I was concerned about the quality of work. GM was about twice as much as the others. They showed up on time. I had paid for 8 hrs and the move was 5 miles. They completed the job in only 6 hrs. They got done quickly because they never covered some furniture. 1 90 yr old leaf table with inlaid wood had deep scratches. And another leaf table was scratched and had broken legs. The movers were young and I believe that they were more concerned about getting done early, more so then being careful. I had expected that having paid as much as I did, that I would have received better service!

Excellent experience with GM Van Lines. Process was simple. The move coordinator, did a great job. He was very patient and answered all of our questions and concerns. The furniture was picked up and delivered during the time frame promised and transported across the country.. No hidden charges or extra fees incurred. Best of all the furniture arrived in great condition.

My experience with GM Van Lines was fantastic. He was very friendly and professional, and even though he and his crew worked fast, they also worked very carefully and meticulously. I will definitely use them again.

Such helpful people! I needed to store some furniture quickly, and I needed help moving the heavy stuff. I never could have moved all this furniture on my own, let alone as quickly as we got everything moved and stored. I would recommend these gentlemen in a heartbeat!

We moved about 1500 miles. Everything was done at the time set up including being at the new location within an hour of the time stated. Not one thing was damaged and we would highly recommended GM Van Lines.

The movers were accurate and very polite. They arrived on time, and did well job, properly wrapped my furniture (1 BR apt), of course, for short distance moving and delivered quickly at destination. They did not waste time on the road. They took care of my stuff and the house elements very well during unloading. I had stress as I had bad experience with moving companies before. However, I really enjoyed from their service.

Our movers were amazing! They showed up on time, moved quickly and were very careful with our stuff. What I thought was going to take 6 hours took only 4. I can't say enough good things about them. I will definitely use them again in the future! Truly great people.

My husband and I were extremely pleased with our recent move with GM Van Lines. The crew arrived on time and went right to work. Max, the foreman from the Ukraine, explained to the Russian crew what to do. The crew spoke Russian among themselves, but were polite and eager to please us. They were very strong, able men who moved a hot tub and some very heavy machines of my husband’s. They professionally wrapped and taped items, disassembling those items that needed it. The trucks were carefully packed to the top. The next day the crew arrived on schedule and began unloading in 25 degree weather. Boxes were delivered to the appropriate rooms and furniture set up where we asked and carefully moved if we changed our minds. Max quickly repaired a broken cabinet leg. Mr. Gur gave our estimate in a very professional manner. He was the only one of the three movers we interviewed that gave us a printed estimate immediately. He gave my husband a veteran’s discount and we felt the price was very reasonable. We would definitely recommend GM Van Lines.

I have hired several moving companies in the past and this was by far the best experience I've had. They were courteous and professional and super efficient, finishing up in well under the time quoted. Nothing was damaged. I was very stressed out about this move but it was quick and easy. Thanks!

I had to switch my move date at literally the last minute and accommodated me! My move went so smooth. No surprises at all. Estimate was beyond fair. Their no problem attitude is beyond!! It was raining and they covered the carpet. They are not the average moving people. I would highly recommend them.

I have officially found my new favorite moving company! I don't have a single bad thing to say and could go on about how great the whole moving team was yesterday on time, efficient, polite, professional, funny and even musical (yes, there was some singing involved). I will definitely be using GM Van Lines again and would highly recommend them to anyone.

All the guys were professionals and helpful. However I did have a few scratched items. They did wrap everything in moving blankets but still had a few issues. I did not report this back to the company. But overall they were very good. They did take a long lunch break during the ride to the new location so had to wait quite a while for them to arrive.

Was told truck would be weighed before and after product for accurate weight. That did not happen. Several dishes that were of value were broken due to packing heavy items together with Crystal! Some crystal was broken as well. Antique radio broken. They acted like I had an option for date of delivery of product. That was not the case. Note to company here’s how you get accurate weights. Weigh the truck, go to first stop, weigh the truck again do the math ,go to second stop, weigh the truck, do the math etc. etc. You’re in the customer service business. Be honest with customer. I didn’t like the fact that I had to constantly contact them after product was picked up. Needless to say I would not use this company again. Waiting to see how claim goes.
